Snippets.

I know I've said that I would do a post on all my favourite make up items...
But I thought I should do some catching up on the photos which I took throughout the whole of last week before they catch up on me.
;p

Make up post will be up soon for those who are waiting!

Dinner at TCC on a random weekday last week with the TTR girls!
Presenting to you,
the people behind your emails and parcels!

Yes, me included.
Hahaha.

Sadly, the 1-for-1 deal does not include drinks.

Happy girls with their food!
:D

My baked chicken thigh with wholegrain mustard sauce.
SHO YUMMY!

Ended the night with shopping.
And I ended up with a pair of gold weaved flats from Dorothy Perkins.
Hahaha.
What's new???

Some proper (okay maybe not) outfit shots!
Swish It! Asymmetrical Skirt in Buttercup, Basic Dipped Hem Top in White!
;)
Just launched them earlier today!

Love my accessories of the day!
:)))

Wednesday was a visit to the vet for my lil furkid!
Her vaccination was overdue and we realised it a few months too late.

My iPad wallpaper!
So cute and fluffehhhhh.

Lesson learnt: never carry your pet when you wear crochet/lace clothings.
Hahaha.

'Where are we going?'

'I'm schweepyyyyy...'

'Are we there yet?'

'Are we there yet?'

'Are we there yet?'

'Are we there yet???'

She can be such an impatient kid when on the car!
Keeps wanting to poke her head out of the window to look at passing cars/human.
;p

Mission accomplished!
Brave kid got her vaccination,
and also a cone of shame as well, hurhur.

She has skin allergy and keeps chewing her own fur off recently.
So we got the cone from the vet to prevent her from doing that.
Bald legs no sexy, you know???
:(

Poor little thing.
How can something look so adorable and pitiful at the same time?

More on my OTD!
Love love love the daisy crochet...
Took so long to find a pretty one!
:)))

Friday was a day of many accomplishments!
Went to NUS bright and early in the morning to buy my graduation robes for a family photoshoot.
I didn't go for my convocation because I thought that it would be a drag...
So I settled for just a photoshoot with my family!
:)
That's good enough for me.

I didn't even want to do a photoshoot in the first place,
seeing how my dad really abhors taking photos.
But Thom convinced me to.
And he accompanied me all the way to NUS to buy the robes and all.
Even got me a NUS graduation lion!
More enthu than me please,  hahah.

Will post the photoshoot pictures here when we're done!

OTD: Paddlepop throwover, coming to you soon!

Only have these photos because my camera battery died on me.
GUA GUA GUA.
Hahaha.

Met two groups of JC friends at night for dinner and supper,
but no photos!
;(

Thanks to Jaclyn and her sister who works at Royal Sporting House,
we got squash rackets for a really sweet deal!
So happy that I'll be going back to playing squash soon!

I'll end this post here and go take over the invoicing now!
Busiest week ahead of me but I'll survive!
Have a good week all!
MUAX.

OH YES,
before I forget...
We've created an Instagram account for TTR!
It's going to be really interesting posting up snaps of random stuff behind the scenes.
Follow us @thetinselrack for sneaks of upcoming items and MORE!
:D

4.6.12

Half of a year.

Half a year is gone in a flash.
This year is extremely fast for me,
maybe it's because I'm doing what I love.
They say doing what you love makes time pass really fast.

And I'm happy to say that I'm satisfied with what I've did for the past 6 months!

I thought I'll take a short break from the Japan trip to share what I've been up to ever since I got back.
Other than working, of course. ;)
Work wise, everything is going as smoothly as I could ever hope for.
I've finally rid myself of the post-travel blues and plunged back into work 100%.
:)

A wall decal at the office because I thought we all need to think like this at some point of time.
Hehehe.

What I wore to the office on a random work day:
Tangled back chiffon top in black and Zara shorts.
The tangled top is definitely one of my favourite basics!

Random shot of my hair because I'm loving my curls!

Outfit for day out with the sisters:
Fairylights fishtail skirt in black and a top from F21!

The little sister is having her holidays so we thought we'll head out for some sushi and shopping for some sisterly bonding.
:)

This was just right after I came back from Japan.
Isn't it evident that I haven't had enough of Japanese food?
Hahaha.

Wore my comfy new pumps from Love Schues out! :)))
I don't think they've launched this pair yet,
so don't miss it!
They should be launching these either this or next week!

Material's soft so it doesn't hurt even after hours of shopping.
The faux snakeskin texture is really lovely too!

Coincidentally Jessie's pumps matched mine!
Hehehe.

We shopped around Bugis Street after lunch,
and I feel so old!
Totally lost, hahaha.
Too many new shops and the crowd is so overwhelming!

Love love love them!

Another top which I love a lot!!
:)
Just arrived in the last shipment and I couldn't wait to wear it out!

Should be launching this in the month of June!
Comes in floral prints too!

Aoba Ramen for Friday night dinner date!
Told you I haven't had enough of Japanese food!
:p

One of the rare times when I felt that flip flops actually goes well with my outfit!
;)

Caught Snow White and the Huntsman and I thought it was not too bad!
Bonus points because I think the actor who acted as Thor/Huntsman is major eyecandy!
LOL.

Sorry for spamming...
Hehe.
Major love for the upcoming dreamcatcher top!
YES IT'S FINALLY HERE.
Launching it this coming Sunday!
:D :D :D

I kept all colours but I was in the mood for burgundy that day..

Guess who coincidentally wore the same colour as me.
Hahaha.
So annoying!

TCC-ed again!
They're having a one-for-one promotion for main courses and pastas till 22nd July,
so go now if you're a fan of their food like me!

Mixed berries yogurt drink!

Clam soup which would have tasted better if it weren't luke warm.
;(

Instead of the usual Seafood Aglio Olio,
I decided to go for their Mentaiko pasta!
Which is didn't taste too bad!
:)

Thom had the chicken thigh with mustard sauce.
Can't remember the full name!
But it's nice!
Although he finds the portion too small.

I LOVE TCC!
♥ ♥ ♥

Red Mango for dessert!
The top's disjointed because someone started digging in before I could take a photo.

And here's the someone sheepishly trying to fix it back.
HAHAHA.

And that's all for my entry today!
:D
I'll be back to blogging about the rest of my Japan trip next!
