Fab Hair Anywhere

Advertorial

P5163447 copy Getting my tresses ready has never been more fuss-free after I got introduced to this wondrous styling tool - Glam Palm 201.
It is now my favourite and the quickest way to get volume in my hair!

This neat and nifty little hair styling tool is also my first pick when I have to decide which ones of my hair styling devices to bring along with me on overseas trips.
So easy to slip into my luggage, even if it is already packed to the brim.

Its flexibility in giving me different hairstyles is also one of the reasons why this gadget made it to my must-bring list whenever and wherever I travel.
The things I do for beauty even when I'm overseas.
Hahaha.

Comes with a sleek looking casing and 2 hair clips for ease of usage.
Love it when products are nicely packaged!
Makes for a great gift too, don't you think?

Getting ready is a tedious process for me.
Especially when it comes to blow drying.
Takes at least 15 minutes and a really powerful hair dryer to completely dry every single strand.
Woes of having long hair.

This step of blow drying is really important though.
If your hair is not completely dry then you're likely to hear a sizzling sound when you run the straightener over your hair,
which causes damage to your hair.

It's really essential to me that I use a thermal protectant before applying any form of heat to my hair.
This step helps to reduce the drying out, split ends and frizziness when I use hair styling tools.

However, Glam Palm hair stylers come with ceramic coated plates which is known to protect your hair from excess heat really well.
So I'm happy that I get to skip this step whenever I use the GP201!

What I really like about the Glam Palm straightener (as compared to the other hair styling tools that I own) is that the time taken for it to heat up is unbelievably fast.
Zero to 200 deg C in merely 15 seconds!
Awesome feature for people who are always in a rush for time like me.

I also find that with the GP201, I don't have to apply heat over the same hair section twice.
Just once is enough to see the results.

It is also extremely easy to use a straightener for hair curling.
I know it seems a little ironic that I use a straightener to curl my hair.
But trust me when I say that it gives more defined and longer lasting curls than my hair curler does!

The ease of usage and the results has officially made the Glam Palm my go-to-styler.
It takes me half the time to curl my hair now as compared to before and my life is now much easier with this amazing hair styling tool.

Toteally Awesome.

Made some small changes on my blog,
but I don't think you'll realise unless you're very observant!
Hehe.

Changed the images of my sponsors' square banners at the side!
Used the photos which I took of their products to do it.
Thought it would make the banners more personalised rather than just using their logos!
:D

Also re-edited the blog header photos!

Anyway, today's advertorial is for Sketch-a-tote,
their second advertorial with me!
Read on because they are offering a special discount code for 10% off for my readers!!

I love receiving packages from them because they look so pretty!
Comes with a really sweet note from Quan Mei the owner too!
:)

I was honestly spoilt for choice when I was browsing through their website because their tote bags come with the most adorable drawings/quirky quotes!
SO HARD TO PICK JUST 2 DESIGNS.
._.

And anyway,
after struggling for about half an hour or so,
below are my picks!

I was pleasantly surprised because this time round,
the tote bags are a lot thicker than the first one I've gotten from them!
:)

I remember receiving a few enquiries from my readers regarding the thickness of the bags, is it flimsy etc the last time I blogged about them.

Fret not because they've listened to their customers feedback and sourced for better material to make their totes!
Plus, every tote now comes with their very own label!
Even more quality assurance because it tells you that every piece is handmade with love.

Outfit:
Zebra Stripey Tee in Black and Destruction Denim Shorts both from TTR,
shoes from Zara (hehe my advance birthday gift from Sissy!!),
and Sail Away Canvas Tote from Sketch-a-tote.

Thought it would be cute if I could put together a nautical themed outfit to match the bag!
I love how quirky the boats look.
I think the thing about Sketch-a-tote which appeals to me so much is that every tote feels and looks uniquely handmade.

cobalt blue skater skirt which I'm still considering getting manufactured under the TTR label,
Watercolour Florals Snapback from TTR,

I really love the tote bags because I foresee that I will be using them on a daily basis.
Think these will be perfect for students who have to carry laptops/books around everyday too!
Shall dump all my auntie and gaudy looking recycle bags for these cute totes RIGHT NOW.

Okay,
right to the important part!
You can quote my name when making your purchases to enjoy 10% off your bill!

Rewarded Thom who was the photographer of the day with dinner at Kraze Burger.
Was looking forward to dinner because we were both starving.
And the food looked really promising because there were so many people having it.

BUT MEH.
The burgers were disappointingly mediocre.
The soup and the garlic wedges were awesome though!
How can a burger place have bad burgers???!!!

In case you still want to go try it out,

Elti.

Other than shoes,
one thing that I cannot resist when it comes to shopping is accessories.

I'm serious.
You should have seen my entire collection of accessories,
both at home and at the office!

I'll take a photo of everything next time so you can judge me for the shopaholic that I am.
Hahahaha.

It's so easy to spend on accessories.
They don't take up much space,
people don't judge you as much if you repeat accessories (as compared to clothes LOL),
and you can easily make any outfit look nicer by throwing on the right accessories.
;)

Liting, the sweet owner of an accessories shop approached me to do an advertorial for her because she noticed that I'm a huge fan of accessories.
And I didn't see myself as one until she told me so.

And then I realised, hey, I really have A LOT of accessories.
HAHAHA.

Accessories she sent me.
Plus a super endearing note for me!!!
I get really touched whenever I receive such notes through the mail,
be it from my advertisers or customers.
How rare is it to receive handwritten notes nowadays?
;)

The turquoise set of accessories which I requested for!
:D
So pretty!
And they go so well with each other!

Outfit of the day:
black cut in top (unreleased from TTR), random neon aztec skirt from FEP,
bag from Bricks and Bolsas (reviewed previously) and gold weaved flats from Dorothy Perkins.

I love this outfit so much.
Didn't want to get out of it at the end of the day.

Outfit of the day:
Neon Glow Top in Lime,
Treasure Chest Scallop Shorts in White,
both from TTR.
:)
