Outfit of the day:
Mistletoe Slouchy Shirt in Wine upcoming on TTR,
ripped Boyfriend jeans from Topshop,
heels from Melissa X Pedro Lourence,
Laine Bag (black) and Proenza Schouler Snakeskin Box Bag (brown) c/o SandyTrove

I've recently been sent 2 bags from SandyTrove.
Love them so much that I brought them out immediately upon receiving them.
There're quite a few enquiries about the Laine Bag on my Instagram photos so I thought I'll get this post up so that you can have a closer look at the bags!

I love how easily these bags go with my casual outfits.
In fact, I decided to pair them both with one outfit so that you can tell how it really is a no brainer in matching these bags to your outfits.

Laine Bag is my favourite for weekdays because I have to carry so many things to work,
while the PS Snakeskin Box Bag is the perfect bag for my weekends!

Other than having a range of super awesome bags,
Sandy Trove also sells charms which are specially imported from USA.
The best part is, they can fit onto Pandora bracelets and other European charm bracelets.
I don't have a bracelet myself,
otherwise I would surely succumb to the cute charms that Sandy Trove imported!

Revisited Wild Honey the other day with Sissy because I was due for my Brow Resurrection retouch and it was the nearest all day brunch place.
I still have not figured out what makes their European Breakfast eggs benedict taste so good.
I love every single component of it!
Even the bread (which I usually like the least) is pretty awesome.
Heh.

I don't know what made me not visit Wild Honey in such a long while,
I'm a huge all day breakfast lover and definitely am going back for more soon!

I also really love the candy cane straw which came with my hazelnut latte.
Pity it got soggy after a while because it was made of paper.

Outfit of the day:
Cooper Cut-in Top from TTR,
Little Drummer Skirt upcoming on TTR,
shoes from Melissa X Pedro Lourence

Went for a FemmeX shoot today and hence my makeup looks a little heavier here.
So not used to studio makeup!
I still prefer how I look with light makeup.
Somehow, makeup tends to make one look older.

Anyway, I chose to go for a monochrome look with this cute embroidery-at-the-hem skirt!
I really love how the embroidery makes the skirt so apt for Christmas.
They look like patterns on wool socks.
Hehe.

Melissa X Pedro Lourence heels

I don't think I have any other pair of heels as comfortable as these.
They are cushioned at the sole and they are extremely comfortable if you have to walk/stand for long hours.
I think I might even attempt shopping in them.

It started pouring like mad right after me and Sissy were done with our outfit shots.
Our office was like,
one tiny road across but we couldn't bring ourselves to run across in the rain.

In the end we did run across the rain though.
Didn't want to waste silly time waiting for the rain to stop.
Had to dry ourselves off and change into dry clothes in the office so that we wouldn't catch a cold.
The things we do for our OOTDs.
Haha.

On a more personal note...
I'm recently been super diligent in starting to rid my daily life of unhealthy habits and cultivating some healthy ones!
Maybe you could follow some of what I do if you're looking to have a healthier lifestyle.
:)

I've been drinking more water recently because I heard that drinking water helps prevent water retention (yay to slimmer legs and sharper faces!) and helps your body detox.
It also makes you feel fuller so you feel less prone to snack.
I'm also drinking more water because we've ordered this Ice Mountain water dispenser for the office and every month we have to finish 13L of water.
Gulps.
I mean literally, gulps.

I bought some edamame from NTUC as a snack replacement.
They come in a huge bag and only costs $4.95 for 2 bags!
I always crave for snacks when I do my work at night and it's BAD.
;(
So now when I feel like snacking,
I defrost the edamame and chomp on them instead of unhealthy snacks like chips.

Changing into exercise attire once I reach home from work.
So that I will be forced motivated to go for a night jog after I've digested my dinner.

And also,
I'm now hitting the gym on a regular basis thanks to a year of Premium membership sponsored by California Fitness!
It's been really long since I've stepped into a gym.
And I love all the state of the art gym equipment at California Fitness!
They also got a personal trainer to guide me along for my first session and it was really helpful knowing the areas that I need to improve in/learning how to work the different machines.

I did an Inbody analysis on their machine and sadly I have got to gain quite a bit of muscle mass and fats.
Good luck to me!

Will be updating this space really soon.
Watch out!
:)

Loving life.

Life's been really good to me lately,
I've been feeling contentment in my daily life and nothing beats the feeling of serenity.
I realise that sometimes being busy isn't all that bad,
BUSY > BORING anytime for me.
At least for me,
I'm doing what I love as compared to being stuck in a dreary, daily grind of routine office work.

With proper time management,
(and the hiring of one more TTR minion)
me and Sissy are starting to find some free time on our hands to spend with friends and family.
And also doing random things like baking,
which is our common hobby!
More about baking on another entry,
but I'm gonna blog about my rather happening pre-weekend which just passed.

Met one of my favourite group of girls for dinner at Mandarin Gallery last Thursday!
:)

Wore the Coloured Poppies Romper in cream!
;)
Psst, launching this tomorrow!

We were supposed to go to Wild Honey,
but their lack of service and apathetic attitude towards customers turned us off.
Other options like Ippudo and Antoinette were too crowded,
so we found ourselves at Ma Maison Tonkatsu!

Didn't know what to order since it was everyone's first time there...
So I settled for this which has a combination of fried prawn, pork loin and pork fillet!
Turns out I prefer the pork loin most out of all.
Hehe.

Weird grated white radish which I didn't try at all.
LOL.

My set which looks sinfully yummy!
LOVEEEEE the tartar mayo sauce which comes with it!!!
Finished the entire small saucer of it.
Hahaha.
Fat X 2!

Had a choice between normal white rice and multigrain rice,
and I went for the healthier option hehehe.

The miso soup which came with the set is really good too!
Everyone had second rounds of it! :)
Oh yes, the rice and miso soup is refillable so it's good if you're REALLY hungry.
Hahaha.
For $25.80 I would say this is really value for money!
:)))

Going back again for sure!

Nancy's Katsudon which I stole a few bites of,
super niceeeeee also omgggg.

And a mandatory group photo, courtesy of Yina!
:)

It was great catching up with everyone especially since it was a long time from the last time we met..
It's not easy trying to coordinate everyone's schedule and it can be really frustrating at times.
So, thank you thank you Wendy for organising always!

And times like this I miss my good friend Steph even more than usual!
:'(
Come back soon!
Miss you too much!

The plan on Friday was to head out to do manicures!
It was one of those days which I simply couldn't decide on anything to wear.
Everything I tried on just seems...
URGHHHH.

A wardrobe bursting with clothes but nothing to wear.
;(

Speaking of which,
I need to embark on project 'save Joyce's wardrobe'!
Either will be posting a selling video or photos on my blog soon!

When in doubt, always go for the fishtail skirt.
Hahahaha.
Paired with one of my favourite tops!
This was the original piece which inspired the Lovely as Primrose Top, if you remember!
;)

Got our favourite milk tea from the basement shop at FEP!
:)))
I'm such a milk tea addict.
I have to have milk tea at least once everyday.
No matter in what form,
teh peng, pokka milk tea, lipton instant milk tea, koi milk tea, random bubble tea shop milk tea.
You get the drift!

LOOK. AT. MY. HORRIBLE. NAILS.
I am so terribly lazy when it comes to nails.
Hahaha.
I will usually them to peel off by themselves every time I apply.
So unhealthy for the nails, I know!

As usual, scouting around for shops to do our nails at!
There're so many shops on level 5 and it was a tough decision to pick...
Didn't want to go back to the shop which I did my previous gellish at because I felt it was too expensive.
And the manicurist didn't really do a very good job for the amount I paid.

This time, I remembered to take a photo of the shop I went to!
The last time I didn't and quite a few people asked me.
Hahah.

And I'm loving the service I got at Autumn Nail Spa so I'm strongly recommending it to you!
:)
Not an advertorial or anything or the sort.

The toughest part of doing a manicure:
Deciding on the colours and design.

For gellish, one colour is $20 (if I recall correctly).
I wanted to do designs so it was $55 ($35 for artwork).

Spot my photobombing face.
Hahahaha.

Meet my manicure buddies!
:D :D :D

AND DENG1 DENG1 DENG1 DENG4!
After an hour and a half or so...
Here's the finished product!

LOVING IT!
I think my manicurist is very talented omg.
She paid attention to the details and did not paint the flowers too uniformly,
and all I showed her was one blurry photo.
For like 5 seconds.

Sissy and Erica both did express manicures for $5 only!
:)))

And the lil sis came to join us after her project meeting!
:D

Me and zee little one!
:)

All hide behind me.
有心机!

Happening Friday was happening because after dropping Erica and Jess home,
we headed to Spize to meet the TTR peeps!

Le perfect couple #1.
Hahahahaha.

Le perfect couple #2!

Le not-so-perfect gay buddies.
LOL.
Seriously mind-boggling about how they can get into deep discussion about olden days kung fu movies and what-not.
Hahaha.

Jon with his roti john.
Hahaha.
It was actually a farewell supper for Jon before he leaves Singapore...
But I think we'll be seeing him again soon!
:)

We look so tired and sticky and messy but still,
LOVE ALL!
<3

Oh and our dearest Dings did a TTR vlog from our photoshoot last week!
Hehehe I think some of you watched it already though!
If you have not, here it is (in 2 parts):

Part 1

Part 2

Love Suan's part, mega sweet lor....
HEHE.
All done in the name of good fun so don't judge!
I look x10 awkward and don't sound like myself at all. Hahaha.
So not a vlog person!

Be good, everyone!
Will blog again really soon!
:)
