The Week That Flew Past.

I don't know if it's the fact that I'm getting busier or older,

the weeks seem to fly by without any warning.

Before I know it, the week has ended.

:(

I feel like I don't make good enough use of my time.

Me and Sissy both dressed in white!
Number 1 favourite colour, hehe.
I realise I usually keep white if that particular design comes in white.

And other colours will come into consideration after I keep white.
Got to make a conscious effort to kick this habit of keeping multiple colours for the same design though,
my mum is going crazy with the amount of new clothes we have for every week.

Stole a little time off work and treated the girls to lunch!

We had someone new (say hello to Audrey the next time she replies your email!) join us recently,

so according to the TTR tradition, 

we were supposed to go for orientation lunch at Everything With Fries!

But unfortunately, the Katong outlet closed down and we only realised upon reaching.

So we went for Sushi Tei instead!

My little ones who handle all the emails so efficiently,

leaving me at ease to focus on all other aspects of TTR.

Really thankful to them for being so dedicated to TTR!

Okay, I had a really happening Thursday.
Hahaha.
So this blog post shall continue.
Went on to meet my friends after work at Marmalade Pantry so that they can collect their TTR purchases from me.

My crabmeat linguine without pine nuts.
I always request for mine to come without pine nuts because I find the combination of pasta and nuts odd.


Fel's seared scallops linguine which Wendy pointed out,
looks like prawn mee.
Hahaha.

And truffle fries which Nancy had to order even though we didn't see it on the menu because we saw someone on the next table having them.
HAHAHA.
So now you know, Marmalade Pantry serves truffle fries.
They tasted pretty good too!

The usual sticky date toffee pudding!

We tried something new too,

the salted caramel bread pudding.

I prefer the bread pudding more,

perhaps it tasted more novel than the sticky date pudding which was what we usually order at Marmalade Pantry.

Deb sent me a photo which we took outside Marmalade Pantry (at the very same spot) around 2 years ago.
And I realised we have already known each other for 3 years already!
It's so amazing how much we've all grown and how we can talk so freely even though we first knew one another through Internet.
Also, missing Steph who is not in this picture!
Cannot wait for her to be back.


I really want to update about my Friday as well,
removed a screw from my mouth (SOUNDS SCARY RIGHT!).
But it's getting late and I need to get down to the mailers for tomorrow's launch.

Hope everyone had a bearable Monday!

Mine was good because I managed to complete quite a bit of work.

Tried on tons of samples and approved them all!

Looking forward to the new arrivals we're having for the next couple of months!

Went to new places last week so here I am blogging about them!

I was a horrible careless piece of shit because I forget to bring my camera out,

and neither did Jazreel whom I was supposed to be meeting that day.

So I picked her up at Raffles City, drove back to Ang Mo Kio, then to Dempsey again.

And I told her "We need to spam lots of pictures today to make this camera pickup worthwhile!"

I'm not the most adventurous person when it comes to food but this...
Is the Pumpkin Hazelnut Fries!
Daring or what!
Hehehe.
Turned out to be quite anti climax because it didn't taste as exciting as it sounded.
In fact, no hint of hazelnut at all!
Quite bland actually, so I wouldn't recommend this.


Warm Salad of Wild Mushrooms.
WHICH WAS REALLY FLAVOURFUL.
We quickly devoured this!
(Okay la also partially because we were starving!)
Totally unexpected and when we both ate this, you could practically see our eyes light up.
Yes it was that good.
Even though it's just salad.






Old fashioned American Sliders which came with sweet potato fries and truffle fries!
The fries were awesome!
The burgers, not so.

I reckon we should have ordered the Asian Sliders instead.
It comes with kong ba pau instead of mini burgers!
Sounds intriguing to me!


Stupid Jazreel took 'don't-know-to-laugh-or-to-cry' photos of me because I was trying to get my cuff bracelet off and realised that the latch was spoilt.
Was so afraid I'll be wearing them around forever but luckily,
I managed to force my hand out in the end.
LOL.




We had a fries party!!!
Hahahaha.
But honestly, their fries are really yummy.
Especially the truffle fries and it's like the best out of all those I've tried so far!

I could have gone on and on without stopping.
Which might be the reason of my extremely bloated tummy later on in the day.

Warm Banana Salted Caramel Cake to end the day!

I'm bad with descriptions so I stole these off the menu:
"Stacked with chunks of glazed bananas and popcorn. Slice into it for oozing salted caramel and coffee soil."

I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

My outfit of the day!
Wore the Pixie Pie Chiffon Top in White because I have been wanting to wear it out ever since it arrived!!
We gave this top a drawstring bottom,
not the most conventional but it gives off a nice ruche-y effect which I adore a lot!
Plus, you can loosen it as you eat, hahaha.


My really special friend whom I first got to know through a TTR X Sensibar collaboration for our first manufactured piece, then got to know better through her shopping at TTR and on Instagram.
And hey, look where we are now!

My favourites are Rose and Salted Caramel!
