Blessed week.

I've had the best week ever for the week that has just passed!
(But then I realise I seem to be saying this every week, hahaha.)

But truly,
I felt more than blessed and loved last week.
Blessed to be with people I love and spending quality time with them,
and loved because I received a gift which I've been wanting for a long time!

It was weird but I was craving for pancakes the entire week.
And so,
me and Sissy went to explore this pancakes place called Strictly Pancakes!
Love the name, hehe.

Outfit for pancakes (LOL):
upcoming Capelet Chiffon Top in Mystic Black!
For those who cannot get enough of fishtails like me.
;)

Pretty Sissy in the cardi blazer and the upcoming Garden Floral Hot Shorts!
:D

Pancakes quote!
;)

We are Instagram crazyyyyyyy.
Hahaha follow us @shoppingluvzme and @jongsy on Instagram!
;)

Iced mocha!
I really think these brunch places should start selling milk tea as well.
Hahaha.

Bananas Scotched!
;)
It tastes as good as it looks!
I could have done without the ice cream though...
Who wants to eat ice cream early in the morning?
Okay, maybe some of you.
But not me for sure!

And here's the short stack (which comprises of 2 pieces of pancakes), and we chose sauteed mushrooms for the side.
They let us choose the type of butter and we went for garlic herb!
Which was really really good!
YUMMS.

Breakfast for 2 of us came to under $30!
Quite value for money I would say.
:))

And here's my OTD taken by my favourite personal photographer!
:p

Saturday's outfit:
Neon tube petticoat (will be bringing in for TTR, it's reversible!) and suede velvet skater skirt (upcoming)!

My legs look so short in this photo.
MEH.
Ask my boyfriend why.

One of the days when I decide to colour coordinate my outfit.
The feathers on the necklace are the exact same colours as my tube petticoat and shoes.
Hehehe.

And my new favourite arm candy from Solvil Titus!
Bought it on 20% sale and I love it!
So vintage looking and dainty.
:D

Randomly had Pontian Wanton Mee for dinner!

FRIED WANTON GALORE!
I loveeeeee fried food!
If only they came without the calories.
:(

Hahahaha.
This is what you get for refusing to pose properly for photos lor.

Blur shot.
>:(

Got my favourite HK milk tea for our movie,
The Amazing Spiderman!
HEHEHE.

Awesome movie, everybody go catch it!

Ended the night with Iced Double Chocolate Latte and Red Velvet Cake from Coffee Bean.
:)
My favourite kind of Saturdays.

Saturday night also ended with a surprise for me from Thom!
He was carrying around a brown wrapped package in a Laneige paper bag the entire day.
And I don't know why I didn't probe further when I asked him why he brought it out (because he told me the courier guy delivered it just as he was about to head out and meet me).
I'm usually more suspicious than that, hahaha.

Maybe because I didn't think that the package was for me since it wasn't any anniversary or even near my birthday.

He unveiled the surprise at the end of the day and I got the most pleasant surprise of my life!
HEHEHE.
It was an iPad FOR ME!

If you've been following me on twitter you would have seen my recent tweets about wanting one.
LOL.
And poor Thom who had planned to give the iPad to me for my birthday was forced to give it to me in advance.
Because he was worried that I would just buy an iPad on a whim!

Which is actually pretty logical deduction given my shopping track record....
Hahaha.
So I guess I spoiled the surprise for him!
;(

But anyway, I'm super happy whether or not his plan worked out!
I got my birthday present one month in advance but it's okay!
At least I was still surprised, heh.
BEST PRESENT EVERRRRRR!

So naturally,
Sunday was spent roaming around hunting for items to dress up my new iPad!

Wore the upcoming Wonder Woman Denim Playsuit!
The cutting of the entire piece is so awesome and everyone who tried it on agrees!
;)
It's a piece which everyone on the team kept!
Hehe.

You can also pair it with a skirt so that it looks like a bustier/bralet!
;)
Smart right?
Multi ways of wearing!

Found a pretty hot pink cover for my iPad which I've named as Tomie!
I prefer to call it by its Chinese name 多米.
HAHAHAHA.
Thom and my sisters are very tickled by that name and so I am.

New and app-less!

More pictures of 多米!

I asked Thom why didn't he include his name in the engraving...
And he said that it was so that if we ever break up,
I will still use the iPad.
:')
So silly one.
I'm really absolutely lucky to have such a wonderful, thoughtful and selfless boyfriend.
So so lucky I almost cannot believe it.
I'm happy about the iPad but I'm most happy about the thought that went into this gift.

And here I sum up my best week of 2012 thus far!
I'm sure better weeks will come along but this is definitely a week to remember.

Valentine's Celebration

I swear, 2012 is really bad for me in terms of health...
Down with a fever and sore throat yesterday,
fever went away today but the sore throat persists alongside with a blocked nose.
:(

But anyway, enough of complaining about the sick bugs surrounding me!
I'm here to post some photos of my Valentine's Day surprise which Thom planned quite some time ago.
He's hardly the romantic sort so I'm actually quite touched that he put in so much effort to plan a mini getaway for Valentine's Day,
especially since I wasn't really into celebrating Valentine's Day and all.

He was quite hush hush about it BUT he had to ask me to keep my day free for 10  Feb,
and that sort of gave the game away...
But I had no idea what he was up to though.

Don't hope for too many photos though,
was too relaxing me for to take any proper shots hahahaha!

Wanted to wear something casual on the way to the 'secret' destination,
so I picked the upcoming lace crochet top,
but this time in a sweet shade of Chantilly Pink!
;)

I've been wearing this design over and over again in the colours I kept it in.
Still not sick of it yet!

Up close of the pretty lace crochet details,
and my polka dot manicure!
(That's the last you'll be seeing of it though,
I super itchy hand went to peel them off already! LOL)

Reached the 'secret destination',
Scarlet Hotel along Erskine Road!
It's really near to Ann Siang Hill/Maxell Food Market!

Pretty lobby!

Went for a mid afternoon snack at Maxell!
Planned to get Lao Ban initially,
but we had to wait for an hour plus, so we gave up and eat the imitation version instead.
:p

Tasted quite good still,
but I still prefer Lao Ban!

Waiting for me to dress up for dinner.
Love how he doesn't nag at me no matter how long I take to dress up.
<3

Outfit for dinner;
SUPER GORGEOUS and flattering Topshop bustier bralet top (sent it for manufacturing already, whee!),
upcoming maxi skirt in the same material as the previously popular fishtail skirt!

P.S. You gotta get this skirt if you love our fishtail skirt!!
Super awesome hehe.
I love it when my skirt has lots of fabric,
and this maxi skirt feels just as flowy as the fishtail skirt even with the additional cloth.

Kind of regretted wearing this combination though,
I really felt like I was gonna burst out of my outfit after we were done with dinner.
Bad choice if you want to wear this to a buffet.
Hahah.

Don't ask me what prints we're gonna do the bralet in,
gotta wait for my supplier to come back with the new fabric swatches!
Hopefully some pretty floral prints!
Won't be able to find exact prints though...
And maybe polka dot prints too?
:D

Dinner was at Breeze, the al fresco restaurant/bar at Scarlet Hotel!
:)

Really pretty and romantic settings.

Omg seeing this photo reminded me of how uncomfortable full I felt in my get up...
NEVER EVER WEAR A BRALET TOP AND OVEREAT AT THE SAME TIME.
You will feel like dying, I swear.

The whole place had a really nice ambience...
And we got to watch the sunset!
But I couldn't capture a proper shot of it.

His Long Island Tea and my Lychee Martini.

Food which was pricey and wasn't really worth any raves.
;(
I wouldn't go back for the food,
but it's a nice place to have drinks and chill!

I think I'm not that bad a girlfriend too,
I made these Strawberry Jelly Sweethearts for Thom and gave them to him on the actual Valentine's Day.
Second time I made these,
both times were for him!
The first time I made them was when he just POP-ed.
And that was years back already!

HEHE anyway, these pretty little things got lots of likes on my instagram,
so I'm gonna be nice and share the recipe on my blog the next entry!
Completed with a video with tips to make it a success..
Never done video editing before so wish me luck!
:D

I've also gotten my Macbook Pro 'Klearzkin'-ed a few weeks back,
but never got around to blogging about it.
So that'll be in the next entry too!

Before I end this entry,
we giving away some love on TTR's facebook page too!

Even if you don't want to win the bag,
it would be awesome if you can still sprinkle us with some LOVE!
:p

Ciaos!
