Kaleidoscope.

Back from work trip and with outfit photos to share!
The trip was by the way, really awesome because we met with many lucky coincidences along the way.
Such a stark comparison from my last trip when I was down with HFMD.
Goes to show that bad luck streaks don't always last!
:)
My last 2 weeks were terrible with so many things that went wrong (won't go into details but it was pretty bad) but looks like things are picking up slowly.
I'm definitely not going to let these bad things get me down.
FIGHTING!!!

Outfit of the day:
Harlem Romper in Blue Kaleidoscope,
Flats from Zara,
bag from Bricks and Bolsas
(lol I shall stop crediting this for the rest of my posts because I have been carrying this bag around every single day since I got it!)

Harlem Romper makes a comeback in 2 kaleidoscope prints and 2 of my personal favourite solid colours!
I love how the kaleidoscope prints make such a loud statement even if you just wear it plain without accessorizing it further.
Don't miss this if you love the previous black and white versions!

Outfit of the day:
Pure Love Keyhole Spag in white upcoming on TTR,
floral shorts previously sold on TTR,
flats from Steve Madden

I kept 3 colours for this awesome spag top!
Hehehe.
Yellow, cobalt and white!
Was trying to control myself but obviously I failed.
Major obsession for spag tops this season because the weather is so warm and humid that I just wanna wear anything spag/chiffon/shorts every single day.

Took the shots above because...
I want to show you my new lip lacquer #Super Coral from 3 concept eyes!
My favourite brand for lip colours after YSL.
Hehe.
Love their bold and bright lip colour palette!
And Park Sora just looks so gorgeous in every colour,
I had to refrain damn hard from carting out every single colour.

Outfit of the day:
Mythic Drop Shoulder Top in White,
Watercolour Splash Runner Shorts both upcoming on TTR this weekend,
flats from Zara

My favourite outfit this week!
Never thought I would like shorts which comes with an elastic drawstring waist band but these are just gorgeous.
It has this laid back casual chic feel which I really love.
And of course,
the prints are to die for.
One of the most kept piece from the TTR team this week other than the Pure Love Keyhole Spag!

My Superheroines.

It's been a long time since I blogged about behind the scenes of TTR photoshoots!
So since I have some free time at work,
here's a quick post!

(And also because I'm loving this Superheroines themed shoot that we did!)

Believe it or not,
there are really limited Superheroines to choose from when I was deciding on who to style Dings and Mel after.

So I decided on the two most prominent Superheroines which immediatey came to my mind:
Wonderwoman and Catwoman!
;)
You'll see later!
I think they really look like Wonderwoman and Catwoman after we were done with styling!

Thank you L'oreal Professional for sponsoring us all these hair products to use during the shoot!!!
:)
The reason why we did a Superheroines theme was also because of Super Dust,
that's the amazing product we're giving away for this collection!

Dings and Kat doing a typical Kat-pose.
Hehe.

Wonderwoman's curly and lush locks on Dings!
;)

It's not everyday you get to look like Wonderwoman,
so Dings was happily snapping away!
LOL.

We decided to go for a polished look for Catwoman's hairstyle,
so we tied everything up and used the Super Dust to create a huge messy bun!

Mel has shoulder length hair so I was pretty amazed that the bun came out huge.
Thanks to Super Dust!
;)

The end look!
We took extremely long with the styling,
but I think it was worth it because they really did look like Catwoman and Wonderwoman!
Don't you think?

And credits also go to Sophie and Serchin who came over the day before to help with the wordings for BAM and POW!
They took a long time with them because they wanted the words to be perfect..
And words cannot express how thankful I am for having them around to help me with the prep work for the shoot.
That and for always buying food for us when they crash the office,
helping out with the small little chores on a voluntary basis...

Can't thank you guys enough!
:)))

And here're my favourite shots from the photoshoot,
they look like they came off the pages of a comic book!
;)

See you at the launch tomorrow!
So excited to show you the rest of the photos!

Harry Potter Exhibition and Cure Review + Giveaway!

My entry title's such a mouthful!
;)

By the way, if you have yet to check out my personal selling video's update below,
thank you for the awesome response!!
I posted the video at 9am yesterday and by 2pm almost everything's pending already.
I've edited the post and put up the items which are still available,
so check it out if you're keen in those items!

Looks like I will be doing another selling post real soon!
Really glad that everyone followed the instructions to purchase and made it a happy experience for me.
:)

Anyway, back to the entry,
I dragged Thom to the Harry Potter Exhibition at MBS a couple of weeks back.
We weren't allowed to take photos of the exhibits so I don't have much pictures to show...
But for 24 bucks per admission,
I thought that there would be more exhibits.
:(

So I was kind of a little... disappointed.
But if you're a huge HP fan like me,
it's still worth a go!
They display many props and items which they used in the movies.

So in a way, still interesting for me!
But not so for poor Thom.
I think he had to surpress himself from yawning while inside.
Hahaha.
Should have found someone who loves HP to go with me instead!

Outfit for the exhibition:
Mini Tulips Top in Midnight, Fairylights Fishtail Skirt in Salmon!
:)))

Oh how I adore these teeny weeny tulips!
<3
So so cute!

Extremely long queue because we went on a Saturday...
But lucky for us, we got our tickets fast because I booked them online!

They sell tickets by hourly slots.
So for the 2pm tickets we got,
we could choose to enter anytime between 2 to 3pm!
However long the time you wish to stay inside is unlimited though.

The first exhibition we saw and the only one we were allowed to take pictures of!
The flying car in the second movie, Chamber of Secrets.

All the movie posters of the 8 movies on our way in!

And they make you pass through the Shoppe on your way out of the exhibition.
It's really just a souvenir shop with lots of overpriced items but people still buy them anyway because it's Harry Potter.
Hahaha.
Good thing I walked away empty handed!

Took a nice walk to Marina Square to spend the rest of our Saturday.
:)

And here's my OTD from a random work day...

Mini Tulips Top in Off White, Happy Holidays Skinny Pants in Electric Blue and my ultra neon yellow flats from Aldo!

Love these highlighter pumps to death.
Hehe.
Got them a while back when neon wasn't THAT in trend yet,
but since it is now,
I decided to bring these babies out for a walk!
:)

And as the title of my blog entry suggests,
I'm doing a giveaway for my readers!

If you've been reading my blog for a while now,
you MIGHT have remembered this product I blogged about quite some time ago.

I'm so happy to have been contacted for this product review and giveaway,
because I personally believe in this product and genuinely like it a lot!

It's the Cure Natural Aqua Gel!
:)

They very kindly sent me a set of the Cure Natural Aqua Gel and the Cure Water Treament Skin Cream for reviewing purposes.
:)
Love the pretty packaging which comes with a blue ribbon!

I have been using this product for near to a year now,
and it works really great for me!

I have sensitive skin which is very prone to breakouts.
So other than using products from my dermatologist,
I hardly like to add any skincare to my usual routine.

Cure is a facial exfoliator (top selling in Japan and Watson's in Sg!),
which helps to remove dead skin cells reallyyyyy gently.
I always find that I get softer and brighter skin after using it!
:)

Wore my Sunbeams Dress in Baby Blue to match the colour of the product.
:p

Here's how to use the Cure gel!
On a clean and dry surface of your skin,
squeeze a generous pump of the gel and rub in circular motions.
I love using this product because....

It's so satisfying to see all the dead skin come off.
Hahaha.
Looks really gross isn't it!

You'll get instant smoother, fairer and softer skin!
:)))
What's not to love about this fuss free skincare product?
And you'll only have to do it twice a week!

Sometimes, I admit, I only use it once a month.
Hahaha.
So the entire bottle lasts me for a really long time!

And for the Water Treatment Skin Cream,
it's not for sale anywhere so it's really exclusive I suppose!
:)
It's meant for moisturizing,
and best applied after using Cure Natural Aqua Gel because that's when your skin better absorbs lotions and serums.

It gets absorbed into the skin really fast and feels weightless!
Not oily at all unlike some moisturizers I've used.

And so!
The exciting part...
HOW TO WIN?

I've decided to make this an easy one for my readers since it's the first time I'm doing a giveaway of any sort...
You'll just have to go to Cure's facebook fan page and 'LIKE' the page,
then email me at joycegoesshopping@gmail.com with your FB NAME, mobile number and mailing address!
The email title has to be 'I LOVE CURE!'
The winner will be selected at random and I will contact the winner by 29 June!
:)

I'll be waiting for your emails!

The reason that Cure is doing this giveaway is also because this year is their 10th year anniversary!
So they also have this contest whereby they will give away 600 bottles of Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream to their customers!

Customers simply have to:

1) Purchase Cure Natural Aqua Gel at Watsons Singapore from 13 June to 23 July 2012

 2) Email your particulars (name, mailing address, contact number) and screenshot of your purchase receipt to enquiry@japalang.sg by 23 July 2012.

3) Winners will be announced weekly at Cure’s Facebook page!

So that's it!
;)
Will blog again soon!
Ciaos and have a great start to the week everyone!
