Was honoured to be invited to the launch of NIVEA's new range - NIVEA Make Up Clear some time back.
I was interested to see what they have because honestly I have never tried any skin care products from NIVEA before even though I know that they are one of the most trusted brands on the market.
The launch was held at Top Deck along Upper Thomson Road.

Secretly love it when they cater yummy food for us at events, hehe
After a short and sweet introduction of their newly launched products,
the NIVEA team also put in a segment to demonstrate how the product can be used.
I think it is definitely safe to say that most of us were intrigued and impressed by how effective the cleansers are!
The product which was used for the demonstration was the 3in1 Mud Cleanser.
It is said to be able to remove 10 types of makeup in just one cleanse,
at the same time giving you fairer and water-like skin!
So the makeup artist applied layers of makeup on the model's arm - the same ones that most of us apply on our faces on a daily basis.
They consist of make up base, concealer, foundation, bronzer, blusher, BB Cream, powder, brow pencil, tinted moisturizer and tinted sunscreen.
Rub-a-dub-dub
And all traces of makeup are gone!
The left arm also looked slightly fairer compared to the right arm after cleansing,
pity my camera did not manage to capture it properly.

One huge bag of goodies from NIVEA
NIVEA also generously packed a goodie bag each for us bloggers and our plus ones,
inside filled with full sized products from their latest launch!
I will admit that I was excited and immediately used the 3in1 Mud Cleanser once I got home from the event.
I got to experience for myself first hand about the promised effects.
Definitely not exaggerating here but my face looks a lot fairer whenever I am done cleaning my face with the 3in1 Mud Cleanser.
I SWEAR.
So fair that I cannot believe it is my own skin.
Skin also feels supple and really smooth!
At the event,
I also learnt more about the benefits of double cleansing.
I have heard about double cleansing but was not sure how it worked.
Glad I got my doubts cleared!
For my current makeup removal routine,
I first use the 3in1 Mud Cleanser to rid my skin of light makeup which includes my tinted sunscreen, concealer, blusher, eyebrow pencil and lip colour.
Then I use the Make Up Clear Micellar Water to clean off any eye make up like eyeliner or undereye concealer and throughout my face again just to make sure that it is as clean as can be.
Once a week, I replace the 3in1 Mud Cleanser with the 3in1 Scrub for cleansing and exfoliation purposes.

These two happen to be my favourites out of the lot because they work so well together.
My daily makeup just vanishes with no trace (I know because I used the NIVEA Make Up Clear Cleansing wipes to test out and could not spot any bit of makeup on it hahaha) and I feel safe that my face is squeaky clean before I go to bed.
You can apply it as mud mask to absorb makeup and unclog pores.
At the touch of water, it then turns into a foamy make up remover and removes your light makeup plus added whitening effect.
Definitely #NotYourRegularCleanser!

No feeling better than having a clean, bare face after a long day out
With so many skin care product choices readily available,
there are definitely products which you buy to try out but do not end up repurchasing.
But the NIVEA 3in1 Mud Cleanser and Micellar Water are products which now have a permanent place in my skincare routine.
Try them out and they might just become yours too!
P.S. I also like the fact that they are really pocket friendly. Important for me because I go through my makeup removers so fast since I use them every day. Hahah.
