Klearzkin-ed!

So...
I think I might have been a little over ambitious when I said in my previous entry that I was going to do BOTH my klearzkin review and the video for the strawberry jelly sweethearts in this post.
HAHAHA.
Video editing is no easy job man.
I'm having sooooooo much trouble editing it the way I want.
Which admittedly had seem easy to me before attempting it.

And I've no idea whether I'm even doing it right...
;(

Give me some more time?
I'll show you some pretty photos of my Macbook Pro first!

I guess most Apple users don't usually carry their gadgets around as they are...
(from observation and experience)
People usually buy cute/cool/interesting covers for their Apple gadgets.
Because no one wants to risk getting their beloved gadgets (which they've paid a bomb for) scratched.
So do I.

Once my gadgets get scratched,
there's a high probability that I'll start treating them carelessly.
LOL.

Since the day I bought my MBP,
I've hardly seen it as it is - NAKED.

I was using the hard shell cover for the longest time ever,
and I was really quite happy with it since they come in a variety of colours,
and I get to choose my favourite colour for it!

I threw my cover away upon getting my MBP klearzkin-ed,
so I don't have any photos.
Grabbed this off the internet!

But as you can see,
it adds an amount of thickness to the MBP and makes it less sleek.
:(

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS,
IT IS A BITCH TO REMOVE.
I broke my previous cover (and a nail) trying to remove it.
Plus, you'll realise a lot of dust/dirt get trapped under the plastic cover and on the surface of your precious MBP as well.

(Hahaha, I've been surfing 9gag.com lately! :p)

Recently, Sabrina sent me an email inviting me to head down to DG lifestyle store (@ Vivocity) to do a complimentary Klearzkin protection for my MBP.
And it was really a pleasant surprise because I've heard good reviews of this protection before.
Super excited to try it out on my MBP!

During the installation (which only took about 20 minutes or so),
Sabrina and Fabian gave a very good and thorough explanation of their product!

I was quite shocked at first because they had to spray a solution over my MBP
(it's a wet installation according to Sab and Fabian),
but they explained that it will not damage my MBP in anyway.
And looking at how professional Sab was in doing the installation,
I left my MBP all to them! :)

I wouldn't wanna bore you with the technical nitty gritty details,
here's an illustration which I grabbed from their website!

Now you don't need to worry about getting ugly scratches on your iPad 2, MBP and MB Air!

Will you look at that!
So shiny and glossy and aesthetically pleasing.
:)))
Now I can carry a sleek looking MBP around thanks to Klearzkin.
It even feels lighter without the plastic casing!

I'm sitting at Starbucks now and secretly observing everyone else who is using a MBP/MB Air.
And guess what?
Mine is the prettiest (and most well protected), hahaha.
;p

If you're keen in doing a Klearzkin protection for your iPad 2, MBP or MB Air,
you can go to http://www.klearzkin.com/ for more details!
Or check out their FB page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/KlearZkin/234739039881105

It's a local start-up so do show your support!
;)
(AND OF COURSE, because the product is really awesome as well!)
I hardly do reviews (because I've no time),
so I'm really picky about those that I do!
So be very sure that I only introduce the awesome products to you okay!

My OTD:

OTD on a random weekday:

Happy week to all!
:)

15.11.11

Back on Track.

Blogging from Thom's room in PGP right now!!!
I'm staying over for my 9am presentation tomorrow so that I can sleep in later and still reach on time, haha.
Just realised that it's going to be my very last presentation in NUS.
But my first ever individual presentation!

So scary please...
I'm getting butterflies in my stomach!
I've never been a good speaker and I get really bad 'stage fright' every time I have to speak in front of an audience.
:(
Some times I wonder if I chose the wrong course.

Someone asked me to blog about him so there you gooooooo!

Wahaha, act yi ge studious only.
He was slacking for a few hours before I got here!
:p

Anyway, I have been a really diligent "blogger" for the past few days, taking photos (almost) everywhere I go!

Feels so good to be able to have time to do all these again.
I really miss blogging!

Saturday was spent with the sisters and we went to Shaw Towers because we wanted to try Caramel Cafe!
It was a rainy day so I picked an outfit with sleeves.
:)

Upcoming on TTR!
Earlier on my blog I posted a photo of myself in this piece, but in yellow.
:)
This piece reminds me of a holiday in Phuket, or Bali.
But the ironic thing is, I've never been to both!

We reached Shaw Towers and realised that Caramel Cafe had already ceased operations.
:(((
Rather disappointed because I've seen the reviews and their food looks pretty good!
Why they close ah?

So we walked around and settled on this Turkish restaurant (IKR, so adventurous!) which Jolene tried before.
Pretty lovely ambience but the food was sucky!

Even the hazelnut coffee was bad.
How can hazelnut coffee go wrong???!

So horrible that I can't even remember the names of the dishes we tried.
The restaurant is called Sofra by the way, if you want to know.
Boo, shall not be so adventurous in future!
:(

Off to Tom's Palette for some desserts after a not-so-satisfying meal.
But the ice cream wasn't so good either!
Still prefer the ice cream from Salted Caramel/Island Creamery.

Kat came to join us!
:)

Tiramisu and Green Tea!

Discussing about photoshoots.
WORKAHOLIC MAX.

Monday morning saw me with puffy and bloodshot eyes because I didn't get any sleep the night before.
Couldn't get to sleep for some reason!
But I made it through the day (till 1am at night) with some coffee from Starbucks determination!

Woke up bright and early to head down to the supplier's so that we could collect our stocks and invoice for the collection on Sunday night.
(Heh, my laptop cover from Steph matches my outfit! :p)

And the gold buttons on my Warehouse inspired skirt matches the gold heart ornament on mah shoes!
:D
Shoes from Topshop!
I got them for 'free' because I had $70 credits in my Topshop card!
#cheapthrill

My chauffeur of the day!
:D

Breakfast at Macs near our house, as a reward for waking up early.
(Well, I actually didn't sleep... But still!)

So hiao, haha, still need to adjust hair before taking photo.
:p

Sausage Mcmuffin with Egg! :)))

One of the most blissful things in life: eating Macs breakfast in the morning!
Makes me want to wake up early every day.
HAHAH.
But easier said that done!

(I know, my office mirror super dirty!!!)

I think me and Sissy have some sort of telepathy when it comes to picking our outfits for the day.
More often than not, I always wake up to her wearing the EXACT SAME outfit which I was thinking of wearing when I planned my outfit the previous night.
If not we will end up wearing the same combination..
Or the same prints.

Like the above, top + flare skirt combination.
HAHA.
Today, we coincidentally wore knit tops and shorts.

Once, we both wore the Morning Breeze Chiffon Shrugs (in different colours) and stared at each other for about 10 seconds when we met up later in the day.
Erps.

We also have telepathy when it comes to dreams.
We always have the same recurring dreams from young till now.
Only realised it when we talked about our dreams.
So morbid right?

I'm only posting this OTD of Sissy's because I uploaded it into my laptop and.........
LOOK AT WHAT I WAS DOING IN THE BACKGROUND.
I have no idea too, don't ask me why I did that!
Laughed for a good 5 minutes when I first saw it.
Hahahahahaha.
(Its still funny now that I look at it!)

Went to Starbucks (at Nex) to continue with invoicing!

Toffee Nut Latte!
#yummers

Sissy and her Green Tea Cream Soy Milk.
Forever drinking the same thing!

Got this chocolate from Watson's!
SUPER NICEEEEEE!

I think it's only available during Christmas season though!
The first time I tried it was last year during Christmas.
And I didn't see it selling anywhere until now!
:)
Shall buy many many many to stock up, hehe.

Went to Asian Kitchen to fill our tummies after invoicing!

"Zeh, got seats already!"

Don't know why I bothered staring at the menu though...
We always order the same dishes when we go to Asian Kitchen!

Something new that we tried: Duck-in-a-roll!
Love the crispy spring roll skin!
:)

Oh man...
I'm getting hungry looking at these food pictures!
Shall go pester Thom and see if he wants to order Al Ameen!
:D
Butter chicken and garlic naan!!!!!!!!
