Busy Friday.

Actually, busy's the word to describe my entire week.

But thou shalt not bore you with the details of my whirlwind activities this week!

Some quick reports on the progress of the new office:

We're done with the flooring! 

Thanks to my sweetest and most supportive dad who got the contact from his friend,

went down with me to the suppliers to buy the tiles,

helped me get his workers to transport 200kg worth of tiles up 3 flights of stairs,

and got an old friend of his to do the laying of tiles at a really cheap price.

Even though he doesn't read my blog,

thank you Dad.

You're the best.

Did so many things today,

I love productive days like this!

Went down to oversee the laying of tiles in the morning,

popped by to the suppliers to see the stocks which arrived today,

(WHICH ARE AWESOME BTW!)

dental appointment to get my wires tightened,

another appointment at the dermatologist's,

and finally some quality time with Thom who finally finished his exams for this semester!

Chauffeur of the day!

Love being ferried around so that I get time to do things like:

1. Take photo of the floral shorts which arrived today!

Gorgeous maximus!

It's non high waist and comes in 3 sizes S M L,

we're not launching it this Sunday so please don't ask me for measurements first!

Dinner was at Cineleisure's Old Town White Coffee!

Have never been there once...

But my dearest best friend introduced me there yesterday and I was hooked!

So I brought Thom there today.

Cos the food was really good!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ORDER THIS IF YOU'RE A MILK TEA FAN LIKE ME.
Tastes exactly like those I've had in Hong Kong.
So yummy!

I usually don't finish up the drinks I ordered with my food,
most of the time I have like 3/4 left in my cup after I'm done with food.

But I finished up every drop of this!


Looks like some sort of teh cino when served (on the left),
but you've to stir it until it looks like what's on the right!








Thom chose nasi lemak,
which was what I had yesterday!
The chili's awesome!
And so is the fried chicken!


My prawn mee!
Had qualms about ordering this at first because I'm picky with my prawn mee.
BUT IT'S SO NICE.
I finished all the soup.
And everything else in the bowl!


Went to Topshop wanting to take an outfit shot...
(and to shop of course!)
But my shorts are so so so crumpled after the entire day!




Topshop's white denim shorts saved the day!
Also the same pair of shorts which I eventually bought.
Kuakuakua.
Mission to save money failed.



And on the car (just randomly),
I took out the floral shorts to compare the cut with the pair of Topshop shorts I just bought...
The cut is exactly the same except not as hugging at the thighs!
Which is good I guess?
Hehehe.
Will preview the floral shorts when worn soon.
So excited to wear them out!!!!!!

April/May/June look like exciting months to me because of the following:

1) Getting braces!!!!

Still really jittery about the extractions but whatever! It will be worth it!
I've gotten so much encouragement from formspring, haha.
Didn't know that there are so many people who went through braces before/are still having braces now!

Trying to stuff myself with as much good/junk food lately.
I've heard plenty of horror stories about having porridge every day after extractions.

Okay, bracing myself (LOL PUN INTENDED) for it!


2) Japan trip in Apr/May!


Which I have not planned for, urgh.
Super looking forward to it though!
Bestie quick come plan the itinerary with me soon!


3) Possibly a new office! :D


Yeppppp.
Getting ready to move on with another (bigger) office,
because we're really bursting out of our current one.

Which is exciting but daunting at the same time because I don't like dealing with paperwork.
All the adult-ish stuff to handle makes me go crazy.
Good thing I've got a boyfriend who's good at doing all that!

So yes, you can look forward to updates on the 3 major events on my blog...

2012 has been really eventful so far,
in hardly the blink of an eye we're nearing the end of March.
The rest of it is still looking pretty darn good to me though!

I'm staying over for my 9am presentation tomorrow so that I can sleep in later and still reach on time, haha.

Just realised that it's going to be my very last presentation in NUS.

But my first ever individual presentation!

So scary please...

I'm getting butterflies in my stomach!

I've never been a good speaker and I get really bad 'stage fright' every time I have to speak in front of an audience.

:(

Some times I wonder if I chose the wrong course.

Someone asked me to blog about him so there you gooooooo!

He was slacking for a few hours before I got here!

Anyway, I have been a really diligent "blogger" for the past few days, taking photos (almost) everywhere I go!

Feels so good to be able to have time to do all these again.

I really miss blogging!

Saturday was spent with the sisters and we went to Shaw Towers because we wanted to try Caramel Cafe!

It was a rainy day so I picked an outfit with sleeves.

Earlier on my blog I posted a photo of myself in this piece, but in yellow.

This piece reminds me of a holiday in Phuket, or Bali.

But the ironic thing is, I've never been to both! 

We reached Shaw Towers and realised that Caramel Cafe had already ceased operations.

:(((

Rather disappointed because I've seen the reviews and their food looks pretty good!

Why they close ah?

So we walked around and settled on this Turkish restaurant (IKR, so adventurous!) which Jolene tried before.

Pretty lovely ambience but the food was sucky!

Even the hazelnut coffee was bad.

How can hazelnut coffee go wrong???!

So horrible that I can't even remember the names of the dishes we tried.

The restaurant is called Sofra by the way, if you want to know.

Boo, shall not be so adventurous in future!

Off to Tom's Palette for some desserts after a not-so-satisfying meal.

But the ice cream wasn't so good either!

Still prefer the ice cream from Salted Caramel/Island Creamery.

Monday morning saw me with puffy and bloodshot eyes because I didn't get any sleep the night before.
Couldn't get to sleep for some reason!
But I made it through the day (till 1am at night) with some coffee from Starbucks determination!


Woke up bright and early to head down to the supplier's so that we could collect our stocks and invoice for the collection on Sunday night.
(Heh, my laptop cover from Steph matches my outfit! :p)


And the gold buttons on my Warehouse inspired skirt matches the gold heart ornament on mah shoes!

Makes me want to wake up early every day.

I think me and Sissy have some sort of telepathy when it comes to picking our outfits for the day.
More often than not, I always wake up to her wearing the EXACT SAME outfit which I was thinking of wearing when I planned my outfit the previous night.
If not we will end up wearing the same combination..
Or the same prints.

Like the above, top + flare skirt combination.
HAHA.
Today, we coincidentally wore knit tops and shorts.

Once, we both wore the Morning Breeze Chiffon Shrugs (in different colours) and stared at each other for about 10 seconds when we met up later in the day.
Erps.

We also have telepathy when it comes to dreams.
We always have the same recurring dreams from young till now.
Only realised it when we talked about our dreams.
So morbid right?


I'm only posting this OTD of Sissy's because I uploaded it into my laptop and.........
LOOK AT WHAT I WAS DOING IN THE BACKGROUND.
I have no idea too, don't ask me why I did that!
Laughed for a good 5 minutes when I first saw it.
