I have no idea what to call this post because I have not much experience in blogging about beauty and makeup.
So Face Of The Day (FOTD) it shall be!
Sorry if my post does not sound as professional as beauty bloggers,
and also, it will not be filled with beauty jargons because I'm still an amateur at this.
Hahaha.
Will try my best to share what works for me!
Have to warn you though, might not work the same for everyone since makeup is very subjective.
I hope my short reviews of the products will help though!

Benefit Porefessional (pore minimizer which can also act as primer) and Hello Flawless (liquid foundation).
I will honestly admit that I used to find primers redundant in the makeup routine.
Which is why before I started using the Porefessional,
I did not have/use any primers.
And I'm happy to announce,
that the Porefessional is now part of my daily makeup routine!
My worries of further clogging my skin with another added layer of makeup disappeared as soon as I put the Porefessional on.
It feels like a very light veil of powder (even though it's in balm form).
I can hardly feel it on my face!
And it makes applying the foundation SO much easier.
It just sort of glided on really easily!
It's main benefit (LOL pun intended) though,
is to minimise the appearance of pores and fine lines.
Which is why it is practically a god-sent to me!

I use 'I'm Pure for Sure' shade for the liquid foundation.

(Sorry if my bad complexion scared you! Hahahaha. I promise I will not post this very often.)
After application of Porefessional and Hello Flawless.
My 'before' face looks really gross with huge pores and scar marks from breakouts.
The huge pores were a result of my acne ravaged skin back from my JC days.
I used to have really bad skin (I think genetically, because my mum used to have acne prone skin as well),
and even though I don't get breakouts as bad as back then...
The huge pores are already on my face.
;(
The 'after' face looks SO MUCH BETTER.
Pores look smaller and scar marks look fainter.
I'm always envious of girls with perfect flawless complexion.
So I'm super thankful to Benefit for helping me achieve almost flawless complexion with their awesome products!
Also, I am of combination and sensitive skin (woe is me) so I tend to breakout easily if I use unsuitable products.
But so far, my skin does not react badly with products from Benefit.
My bottle of Hello Flawless is almost used up already!
Yay for me!
With only Porefessional and Hello Flawless on my face!
Although my complexion looks tons better after the base makeup,
it looks ghastly and pale and I just look damn tired.
So, on to the next step of my daily makeup routine...
CHEEK COLOUR!
Benefit Posie Tint.
I can't even explain how much I love this product!
It comes in a bottle with a small applicator brush.
But I usually use my finger to dab a bit from the brush and then rub it onto my cheeks.
The only thing to note though,
is that the stain goes on to your cheeks really fast.
So you need to rub it over your cheeks as if you're in a rush.
Hahaha.
Love that the colour stays on the entire day no matter how much I perspire!!
I also used this as a lip tint as well in this blogpost.
Beyond Mascara.
What I love about this product is the super fine bristles on the brush head.
You know how some mascaras make your eyelashes clumpy?
The fine bristles prevent that from happening,
and helps to coat every single lash with mascara!
From left to right:

I prefer my daily eye makeup to be simple,
so I usually don't put on eyeshadow.
No special tips on how I do my eye makeup though,
it's pretty straight forward as you can see.
Looking natural is always my mantra when it comes to putting on makeup.
Who wants to look as if their entire face is caked with powder?
That's why I especially love Benefit's makeup products.
They are so fuss free, easy to use and they make my complexion look so good without me having to pile a whole load of gunk onto my face.
