GXFC!

新年快乐 everybody!

I am well aware that I haven't been the most active on my blog.
Am trying very hard to keep up with IG, Dayre and real life.
Blogging is not at the forefront of my mind lately, if I am to be honest... I guess it's obvious as well, judging from my extremely sporadic updates.
But I am hoping to change that once I start travelling again for the year.

Have several trips lined up already!
In February, I will be exploring Taiwan (Taipei & Taichung) and Bali.
Not going to waste my annual long break for sure.

Planning for Taiwan is proving to be a bit of a challenge though.
My spontaneity in booking the trip completely blindsided me from fact that we would be in Taiwan on the third day of CNY - which means that majority of the shops would not be open.
Managed to piece together an itinerary somehow, with lots of help.
And now what's left is the dreaded packing of the luggage.

Hitting the roads once more also means more visuals to come on the blog.
Yay.

Our annual tradition of pineapple tart baking

Have a smashing CNY, you all!
I hope you stuff yourselves silly with the snacks, fend off annoying relatives (if any) when they ask you pesky questions and collect many, many angbaos so that you can buy more clothes from TTR.
And may we all huat like pineapple tarts!

READY FOR CNY.

Finally done with the mad CNY rush at the office.
Really thankful for all the support during this festive period!
:)

I must say that my girls really did well for the past 2 weeks with the increase in mailing and self collection.
There were some inevitable slip ups but on the whole I'm really proud of how smooth things went!

Getting ready for CNY part I,
having TTR reunion steamboat!

My family at work

Each year,
I always feel thankful for having such a wonderful (and growing) team of girls who helps me so much at work,
who always puts in their best without having me to ensure so.

Getting ready for CNY part II,
pretty outfits!

I'm pretty lucky that I don't have to spend time shopping around for CNY outfits.
All my CNY outfits will definitely be from TTR.
Proud to be wearing my very own label!
;)

If you have not gotten your hair/lash extensions done,
it's time to start panicking.
LOL.

Call COVO to book your appointments now!
If you're lucky,

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!
I'm really over the moon that we're done with work and I can now start to enjoy CNY.

It's my favourite holiday out of the entire year because of all the good food,
awesome goodies and the very fact that I get to spend lots of time with my loved ones.

I Love Chinatown.

Seems like it's becoming some sort of "tradition" for us to do a photoshoot at Chinatown during CNY!
I really love the ambience and feel of Chinatown during CNY,
so I didn't mind going back there for a second shoot.

Had a round of breakfast at the Maxell Food Centre before starting the shoot!
:)
And I would just like to say,
I'm really proud of everyone!
It's been a long while since anyone is really late for a shoot,
which is super commendable!

This photo is so dejavu!
I took a similar shot of this scene last year, of Thom and the reflector.

Look at Ding's indignant expression.
This was taken after an auntie walked pass us and commented,
"That china girl very pretty hor?"
And she was referring to Dings!
Hahahahahaha X 1000000000.

Super love this lace embroidery dress!
:D :D :D
Don't think I'll get to wear this for CNY because Jolene will be wearing.
Wonder when I will get the chance to wear mine out!
Kept it in 2 colours, Mulberry and Hollywood Pink!

We went onto the streets to capture some shots of the stalls,
and the stall owners this year are really friendly!

Last year some of them chased us away when we tried taking photos.
This year they are like super enthu and all.

The uncle from the flower stall which was super enthusiastic!
Or maybe he was charmed by Dings.
Let us go into the stall to take photos and keep bringing out different flowers for us to use as props.
Hahaha.

The Caucasian who requested for a photo of our 'pretty china girl'.
Haha.
We got lots of stares from passerbys who just stood around and watched as we do our shoot.
It was a good thing that our models are well trained and are oblivious to stares by now.
:p

I love my TTR 发!
Wanted to write TTR 大发 but there wasn't enough space.
:(
Hahahaha.
Everyone burst out laughing when they saw this...
Really very funny meh??

Thom's shirt from Threadless...
SHO CUTE!

Uncle of the 烧腊 stall staring at belle of Chinatown.
LOLOLOL!

And finally.....
Lunch for the famished people who slogged hard for a 4 hour shoot!
:D
At this la mian xiao long bao shop which Dings recommended.

新年快乐!
恭喜发大财!
Please catch our launch tomorrow night at 8.30pm!
:D
