Christmas, Before and After.

I thought I'll squeeze in some time amidst the packing of my luggage (going on a mini vacation tomorrow YAY!) to update this space.

I managed to sell over 300 pieces of clothes at my pre-loved booth the past 2 days thanks to all of you who came down to support!

I hope you had fun at the flea!

It was one of the best fleas that I have been to,

and the BEST flea that I have participated in because it's organised by my very good friend Aloy!

And thanks to my very selfless sisters and Thom who helped me tend the booth the entire day without a single grumble.

Instant love once I laid eyes on this top,
and so I got it manufactured for TTR!
This will look so good with fitting skirts, pants and denim shorts.
Look out for it!

And there's just something about red checks which spells Christmas perfectly.

Cute Christmas cupcakes!
A surprise delivery from the extremely sweet and thoughtful owner of My Sister Bakes.
I previously did an advert for her during my birthday,
had no idea that she would send these cupcakes over when she popped by to collect her TTR purchases!

This is hands down my favourite outfit of the year!
I just can't get over how awesome my proportion looks in this outfit set.
The ruffles of the top coupled with the skirt gives the illusion of a smaller waist and way longer legs.

Think you're gonna see me more in this kind of outfit combinations in future!

Shiny shoes which looks 100 X prettier in real life

Christmas Eve tea time at Restore cafe.
We've been here for a lookbook shoot previously but you know how shoots go,
we didn't have time enjoy their food properly.
Went back and we really love the desserts there!
Both the waffles and the dark chocolate tart are SO NICE.

Every year seems to pass so fast.

Soon I'll be in my mid twenties, then late twenties, then thirties.

Oh god, I don't even want to think about it. 

Birthdays become less huge of a deal as I grow older.

Simple celebrations are enough to make me happy.

Had brunch with Thom at a quiet cafe near Victoria St.
The food was awesome (one of the best cafes I've been to!) but it was a pity that I only ate a little because my appetite wasn't good as I was still recovering from HFMD.
Would definitely love to be back another day!

They had a moderate range of dishes on their menu so we took some time to decide.
Everything sounded so good and we kind of ended up over ordering.
Hahaha.






Most memorable food item we had that day - truffle fries!
I love how they did their truffle fries.
One of the best I've had so far!

I'm on the hunt for the best truffle fries in Singapore.
Hahaha.
Any recommendations?

PS Cafe at Ann Siang also serves some awesome truffle fries!


Scallops were fresh, juicy and succulent.
Simply divine.

Decided that I wanted a floaty pastel birthday outfit so I randomly put together this combination.
Ended up loving it quite a lot!
I kept another colour of this top too,
it will be launched on TTR in the month of August for those of you who have asked me about it!

Went to Sephora to get my birthday present!
I chose a Clarinsonic Mia 2 because I've heard that it does a really good job at cleansing!
Have been using it since I got it and I'm not sure if its psychological...
But my face feels cleaner than it normally does when I use my hands to wash only.




Thank you baby for always doing whatever you can to make me happy and make me smile.
I can't wait for the rest of our lives together.

I was literally ROFL when I saw the words.
Hahahahahah.
WTF.









The TTR girls also celebrated for me by sneaking a cake from the back when we were having dinner at TCC just now.
Totally did not expect it since my birthday was last week!
Definitely feeling blessed.

Another happy moment during my birthday week...
Receiving birthday cakes from Esther who is running an online bakery My Sister Bakes!
It is really sweet of Esther because she had a really busy schedule last week,
but yet she managed to churn out these beautiful cakes and deliver them all the way to my house.






I gasped when I opened the box of cupcakes because other than being pretty...
They are just super thoughtful!!

Esther also made a Xiaobai out of fondant.
That's my favourite out of all!










Couldn't wait to taste them so I was eating them as I took the photos.
The vanilla cupcakes come with a surprise red velvet centre!
My personal favourite out of the 2 flavours was definitely the chocolate cupcakes with orange buttercream.
Chocolate and orange is definitely one of my favourite combination of flavours and I think Esther definitely nailed this!
Having major cravings for it right now as I type away.












The red velvet cake with rosette buttercream design was really good as well!
I like how all the cakes are still nice and moist even after they have been fridged.
The red velvet cake had a really intense flavour to it and I love how the cream isn't overly sweet like commercial cakes.

Thank you Esther for the hard work!
Everyone at home loved the cakes and we were well fed on cakes for a few happy days.
