In Transit.

Bet you've seen this on TTR's facebook page already,
but I couldn't resist posting it up on my blog as well.

GRAB YOUR BOARDING PASSES!
We're going on an awesome 'flight' this Sunday!
;)

We're definitely not the first blogshop to do our photoshoot at the airport,
but definitely a memorable one for me because I was the photographer for this photoshoot.
We found ourselves lacking of a photographer because Suan will no longer be doing our photoshoots due to his personal reasons,
but it was too hard for me to find a suitable photographer on a last minute notice.
So I decided that the easiest way (though not necessarily the best way) was to do it myself.

I wasn't terribly confident of taking on the role of a photographer...
But I psyched myself up to do it because even if I screw up,
I have an awesome graphic designer to save the mess.
Also a good thing that I have 2 extremely awesome and photogenic models who will not look bad no matter how bad my skills are!
;)
Heheh.

I think I ended up doing okay though.

I might even start to enjoy it in future after I get used to the idea of me as the photographer.

This is also what I love about my job.
Even after 2-3 years in the business,
I'm still learning and exploring new things every day.
:)

Had some free time over the weekend,
so I picked some of my favourite shots and tried editing them myself!
You won't be seeing them during the actual launch,
because Linette will be picking out a separate set and she will do the editing for the launch photos!

Linette will definitely do a much better job than me at editing these photos though!
I'm still at the bottom of an extremely steep learning curve with regards to photography and photo-editing.

Feel free to ask me about the items you spotted in this entry!
;)
Most of them will be on sale this Sunday!

Will blog again soon with OTDs!

8.2.12

Back again.

A new blogpost (so fast right, I know) to break the monotony of CNY photos and posts!
:)
So far, 2012 has been treating me pretty well.
I feel really slack-ish nowadays..
I think the rush to work hasn't really kicked in proper.
I mean, we've started our launches, replying emails and hitting the PO daily.
But it doesn't feel like work yet.

Everything is still going at a pretty slow pace, big contrast from the pre-CNY period when it was an absolute nightmare trying to juggle many things at once.
It's been a really nice break.
But I gotta get back on track soon.
Too many pretty things waiting to be launched!!!

The day I woke up early for photoshoot and in the end it got cancelled.
Can't be helped I guess!
So in the end me and Sissy dressed up and headed to Serangoon Gardens for breakfast.
Super rare considering that I've been waking up past lunch time these days.
ERHEM.

Wore an upcoming, to be launched soon polka dot top!
;)
Another polka dotted piece to add to my collection!
You can't see it from the photos,
but I love the slightly puffed sleeves which makes this piece so feminine.

Went to Serangoon Gardens with the intention of doing breakfast at Arbite's..
But I guess we were too early for it!
Only opens from 11.30am onwards.
BOOOO.
:(

So we found ourselves grabbing coffee and some food at Coffee Bean's!

SEE OUR FACES.
Still in dreamland.

On Monday, me and Thom went to Changi Airport to send a good friend off!

Wore the Vintage 60's Top in Quarry Blue and a yet to be launched creme hi waist shorts!
:)

Matches with my manicure!!!
:D :D :D

Had our dinner at Sakae Teppanyaki because we were too early.

Can someone tell me what's so nice about this?
LOL we both left it untouched!

Garlic rice, super love! <3 <3 <3

Settled at Starbucks for a Green Tea Latte and a book.
Because we were still TOO early.

HAHAHA couldn't stop laughing when I saw the accidental 'moustache' after he drank one mouth.

He wanted to draw this on me....
SO UGLY.
I look like a freaking grumpy old man.
With green moustache.

So I got even, hahah.
He looks like a jolly Santa with a green beard.
The silly things we do, LOL.

Sending my good friend off...
May all things be good for you over there Steph! :)
(If you're reading this, I miss you already!)

END OF ENTRY,
BYE!!!
:D
