HELLOOOOOOO!
I'm back from Seoul with a luggage full of cosmetic and skincare products,
it was so fun that I almost dreaded coming back.

In the end,
we spontaneously decided to extend our 4 day trip by 2 days since Scoot had cheap tickets!

Slowly sinking back into the daily grind of work.
Feels good to be diving back into work with fresh motivation and drive after a good holiday!
Not loving the humid and extremely hot climate in Singapore though.
Bleh.

I'm not going to be blogging about Korea in this post though.
Too many photos I have yet to sort out.
We took a grand total of 800+ photos this trip.
Can't wait to organise the photos and blog about them!
We had a really good time thanks to my good friend who planned our itinerary and brought us around for the entire 6 days.

I don't think I will have the time to type out my itinerary though,
information about where I went to/activities I did will be all on my blog.
Would appreciate if you could gather the information yourself from my blogposts instead of emailing me for the itinerary.
:)

Sharing some of the interesting quirks I noticed about Korea from my trip:

- There are many many beauty stores in Seoul (not sure about other parts because I only went there) and you can practically find the same brands over and over again within the same area.

- Koreans love brushing their teeth after meals, you'll see them doing it inside public toilets so don't be shocked.

- The banchan (side dishes) like kimchi etc are usually complimentary in Korea.

- You can find many mirrors inside the subway stations,
and there are always many girls standing in front of the mirrors checking out their appearances and doing their makeup.

- Korean girls love taking selcas!
They can do it anytime, anywhere. And they are extremely un-shy about being vain.

- You can eat and drink on the subway trains in Korea.

- The sun is also extremely strong there, probably even worse than Singapore.
But the temperature was around 11-15 deg C in the day time when I was in Seoul, which makes the sun a lot more bearable.

Ok that's all I can think of for now!
I will try my best to clear my Korea posts within 2 weeks.
Heh.

Here's clearing some OOTDs backlog before I bomb this place with my holiday photos!!

Outfit of the day:
Dusk Floral Spag Top in Navy from TTR,
random denim shorts,
nude loafers from Hong Kong,
LV inspired Noe Petite bag sponsored by Bricks and Bolsas

Love how the yellow bag adds a pop of colour to my outfit!
:)
The quality of the bag is also really good as usual.
I never have to worry about receiving shoddy quality bags from Bricks and Bolsas!
This bag is perfect for days that I'm running errands that don't have to bring too many things around.

Outfit of the day:
Blue floral spag from The Editor's Market,
Forever Summer Denim Shorts from TTR,

I'm sorry if you've been seeing too much of me in spag tops and shorts.
They are too awesome for Singapore's mad weather lately.
After piling up layers after layers of clothes in Seoul every single day,
I was kind of happy to be back wearing such outfits.
Hehe.

Really love these denim shorts!
I'm not exaggerating when I say that these are the perfect denim shorts anyone could own.
The wash is also really pretty in real life!

Love this top so much for it's perfect cutting, the play on illusion at the waist area and not forgetting the sexy scoop back design!
Am considering doing this in solid colours.
Anyone?
Hehe.

Am off to unpack somemore.
Korea post coming up VERY soon!

Featuring the new satchel bag which my sponsor Bricks and Bolsas sent me!

I really liked how roomy this bag is for a satchel bag.
I definitely won't be able to bring it around on a day to day basis because I have too many things to carry,
but this is definitely a bag which will go with me on my brunch date with girlfriends (which I went for in this outfit hehe) or weekend dates out to town!

Wanting told me to pick between wine red and brown and I picked wine red!
Such a pretty colour and I think it matches super well with my new Liese hair colour.
Heh.

As usual,
I was really pleased with the quality of the bag.
Really sturdy and thick material!
That is one reason why I decided to work with Bricks and Bolsas on a long term basis.
I really love their quality of bags and they never ever fail me.

I can't wait for my next advert with them already!
:)

Outfit of the day:
Dreamers Denim Shirt in Light Wash launching on TTR tonight,
Basic Bandage Top previously sold on TTR,
Alexa Denim Skirt upcoming on TTR,
bag from Bricks and Bolsas,
loafers from Accessorize,
watch from Naked Glory

Decided to show you 3 ways you can wear the Dreamers Denim Shirt in.
You're gonna get so much mileage out of this top I'm telling you.
Initially only kept this in Light Wash but after realizing I can wear them in so many styles,
I persuaded Sissy to let me keep Mid Wash too.
YAY OR YAY!

And I was pretty scared of wearing so much denim at one go but after some experimentation,
it seemed to work pretty fine!
The trick is to pick a bottom which is several shades darker/lighter than your top.
And try to stay away from acid washes as well,
if you're going for the denim on denim look.
;)

Crown Jewel Pants previously launched on TTR,

Another look which is a little out of my usual dressing style.
Trying to be more adventurous.
Hahaha.
And I like the new looks!
They are still me,
but less me than before.

Mr Muscle Cropped Tee launching on TTR tonight,
Good Girl Flare Skirt launched on TTR previously,
flats from Zara

There you go,
this outfit is a lot more me.
Hahaha.
Knew I had to get this Topshop inspired striped tee manufactured because it's so cute + it's cropped!!
The weather decided to be freaking hot today so I'm happy that I got to wear it out.
Hehehe.

Hokays got to get back to work now!
Be back again soon!

Cupcakes!

*Scheduled this post so that my blog doesn't look sad while I'm away!
I'm actually not in Singapore right now.

What a bad time to get sick.
I can practically the onset of a fever...
My bones feel aching and right now I feel absolutely chilly even though I'm already in long pants and a knit top.

To make things worse...
My work trip is due now and I have a flight to catch at 10pm later.

Hopefully I'll make it through this trip fine!

Just a quick update before I fly off,
I've been really well taken care of by my sponsors (both current and new) for the past few days and I genuinely am super thankful for them.

I just have to say this...
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE BAG FROM B&B SO FAR!!!
It was on preorder so I had to wait a couple of weeks for it,
and throughout I was pretty anxious because I cannot wait to lay my hands on it.

Love how slouchy yet roomy the bag is!
And the crinkled textured leather plus the studs at the bottom are just to die for.
I can happily abandon all my bags and use this everyday now.
HEHE.

And the best news for you...
Wanting ordered in extra pieces along with my piece so this design is now an INSTOCK!
Don't have to wait like a kanchiong spider like me.
No need to thank me!
:p

Here's the link for the bag:

A super worthy investment if you're looking for a versatile black bag with a bit of edge!

Had my nails done at Milly's a few days ago!
I'm sure you have heard of Milly's.
They are extremely established as they have been around for 5 years and counting...
And they have outlets at FEP and Bugis respectively!
Which has got to say something about them because as you know,
there are TONS of manicure shops at both FEP and Bugis and it's hard to stand out from the competition especially with all the price slashing and what not amongst all the shops.

From what I observed when I was there,
Milly's staff are all super helpful to all customers!
Be it walk-in customers, or customers who just pop in to enquire about prices.
Had tea break with the Boss (Milly) after my appointment and she told me that she really values customer satisfaction a lot.
Which means you will definitely be a happy customer when you get your nails/lashes/hair extensions done with them!

SAM_8311
I really salute them because this was the condition of my nails when I went there.
Short and stubby with dry cuticles.
I normally prefer to keep my nails a bit longer but recently they keep peeling and breaking so I had to snip them off.
;(

SAM_8316
Had gel extensions done and I am really amazed by the speed that my manicurist Gina did this.
I'm pretty particular about the shape of my nails and I gotta say I'm really happy with the nice shape Gina gave me!
She's the best.

Guess what design I'm doing!!!
(No prizes if you've already seen them on my IG feed.)

This is what happens when you get your nails done with the expert.
Super adorable cupcake nails!!!
Hehehe.
I didn't want normal cupcakes so I did some research online and found this design with a quirky twist!

JUST LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF DETAILS THAT WENT INTO THE DESIGN.
It is just perfect.

It going to be take super steady hands and a good sense of aesthetics to do this!
And Gina my manicurist did such an awesome job of it.
Heheh.
Plus, she only took about 2 hours to do both my extension and the design.
Which is extremely fast.

Wanted to show you a YSL lipstick (Rogue Volupte Shine #15) which I've gotten recently and love a lot!
Couldn't resist posing with my nails, hahaha.
Just too cute la!

Milly and I are also discussing a collaboration to giveaway complimentary manicures/lash extensions to TTR customers!
I'm pretty hyped up about it because their service is really good and I can't wait for you all to try it yourselves!
:)

Okay dokes,
I gotta leave for the airport now.
Wish me luck and hope that I come back safely in one piece!

By the way,
there will be no TTR launch this Sunday because Sissy and I will be away.
And since we just had 2 sale posts last week,
I thought we would give our team (and also your wallets) a short break!
We're probably launching the new collection during the National Day weekend,
lookbook will be up some time mid of next week!

B&B

I just checked my blog archives,
and I've been doing advertorials for Wanting from Bricks and Bolsas for 1.5 years and counting!!
That is pretty long if you ask me!
And my B&B bags have never failed me so far,
I always look forward to receiving my parcels because I know for sure that I will love whatever I find inside!
:)

This time, I picked a bag in a pretty pastel mint shade from B&B!

Outfit:
White keyhole top upcoming on TTR (probably in the month of August!),
shorts from Topshop,
shoes from Steve Madden,
bag from Bricks and Bolsas.

Really love how the mint colour brightens up my entire outfit and makes it look so happy!
If you're worried that mint colour is not as easy to match as neutral shades,
I have some tips!

For this bag,
I tried to include some mint/blue accents in my outfit so that it doesn't stand out too much.
I mean,
it's good if it stands out but it also has to blend in nicely with your outfit, right?
LOL.
Do I make sense?

I think matching your shoe colour to the bag colour also works well.
You can also refer to my previous blog post HERE and HERE to see how I matched a cobalt blue bag from B&B!

If you don't have any mint colour shoes,
don't worry!
Maybe you can go with neutral/complementary colour clothings if you want to bring this pretty bag out!
Some examples would be white, black, cream, navy, yellow, coral etc!
Mint in my opinion isn't that hard a colour to match!
:)

Outfit:
Floral bralet from Topshop,
Broderie Summer Skirt in White upcoming on TTR this week,
bag from Bricks and Bolsas,
shoes from Steve Madden (again!).

Wore the prettiest skirt out today!
It was one of those designs which I knew I had to manufacture for TTR the moment I laid my eyes on.
So apt for summer and I really can't wait to pair this with all my floral tops, chiffon tops and plain shirts!
Catch it this coming Sunday!!

I'm away from Singapore while you're reading this,
can't wait to be back and hopefully we'll bring back lots of gorgeous pieces for you all!!

Sending love from a far far away land,
