I don't know how it is you are so familiar to me - or why it feels less like I am getting to know you and more as though I am remembering who you are. How every smile, every whisper brings me closer to the impossible conclusion that I have known you before, I have loved you before - in another time, a different place - some other existence.
Soul Mates
by Lang Leav
One of the best feelings is this world is to be able to find your special someone.
That soul mate who is able to connect with you on the most emotionally intimate level,
who accepts and loves even your most fatal flaws unconditionally,
who embraces your most perfect imperfections,
who knows what you're thinking even before the words get out of your mouth,
who wants to share every single minute detail of his/her days and hear about yours too,
who makes you laugh wholeheartedly on some of the worst days of your life,
who loves your company even when you're not on your best behaviour,
who shares the same goals and dreams in life as you.
Relationships are undoubtedly difficult and trying at times,
but being with the right person just makes it infinitely easier.
The perfect relationship may seem like a unicorn,
but one thing I've learnt is that the ideal relationship is nothing short of achievable when two people are willing to work hard and commit to better themselves for the relationship.
The natural progression of a committed relationship is usually from dating to marriage.
I'm sure that every girl at some point of her life definitely thinks and dreams about her wedding.
The one momentous day of her life when she marches down the aisle in a floaty white dress in the most perfect cut,
waltzing into the arms of the love of her life,
exchanging loving vows,
and of course wearing rings for each other which signifies their true love and commitment to love each other for the rest of their lives.
Which brings me to the main point of this post,
to tell you about the new and super gorgeous collection which I saw and was introduced to when I stepped into Goldheart ION Orchard a couple of weeks back.
Le Pure Platinum by Goldheart
Random fact that you might find interesting to know since we're on the topic of wedding bands:
Did you know that Goldheart was the first bridal jeweller to introduce the concept of white gold and platinum wedding bands locally?
The extremely delightful range of wedding bands from the Le Pure Platinum collection to celebrate Goldheart's 40th anniversary.
I was really taken with this collection not just for how lovely the rings looked in all their shiny glory,
but even more so after I was being told the concept behind this collection.
I'm not sure if you've heard of a British wedding tradition which goes like this.
Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
They signify four objects which the bride brings on her wedding day as good luck charms.
Something old to represent continuity;
something new to offer optimism for the future;
something borrowed to symbolise borrowed happiness;
and something blue to represents purity, love and fidelity.
Platinum is one of the purest precious metals you can find on earth and Goldheart has thoughtfully married it with "something blue",
so that you have one less thing to worry about on your big day.
You will be able to find Pure Blue Sapphires embedded on the inside of the rings under the Le Pure Platinum Collection to represent your "something blue".

Platinum was picked over other precious metals because it encapsulates purity, strength and rarity of true love.
Furthermore,
platinum is an enduring and eternal precious metal which will not wear away easily.
Which makes perfect sense for you and your other half to wear them as wedding bands because these qualities are what you want in your marriage too,
isn't it?
This is my personal favourite pair of bands in the collection.
Really love the contrast of the textures, the sleek finish and the dainty diamonds embedded in the rings.
Personally,
I would prefer my wedding band to be of a classic and timeless design because I would most likely be wearing it on a daily basis.
And I definitely see a lot of timeless and classic in the wedding bands under the Le Pure Platinum collection.
There are also eternity and solitaire rings in the same collection which I found really hard to take my eyes off.
Diamonds and all things bling are a girl's best friends indeed.
Lucky me also got to try on the rings just to see how it would look like on my finger.
No wedding is in the plans for me as of now,
but I would definitely love to wear a ring just like that when the day comes.
Other than getting to try on the many pretty rings,
I was also told of this really interesting collaboration which Goldheart did with Inked Fingers, one of the top Instagram photographers from Austin, Texas.
I had the privilege to get a first hand preview of Le Pure Platinum's micro site which shows the IG-worthy photos!
Here are some of my favourites from the Pure Love Photo Diary shot by Inked Fingers for Goldheart.
"My heart beats faster when your letters arrive."
"You melt my heart."
You really need to head over to the micro site to see the full collection of photos yourself!
Who knows,
you might be able to draw some much needed inspiration for your own bridal/engagement shoot?

And now,
for the Instagram addict in you...
There will be a ‘Favourite Pure Love Moment’ photo contest on Instagram 31 Oct 2014 to 14 Nov 2014 where you can submit photos of your favourite couple moment.
If you’re wondering how you should go about doing it, you could take a look at the Pure Love Photo Diary for reference.
The theme of this photo contest is to showcase your favourite couple/pure love moment,
which I think comes through really beautifully in the Pure Love Photo Diary which Inked Fingers captured for Goldheart.
3 winners will stand to win $500 Goldheart gift voucher each,
so get snapping and upload them to IG with the hashtags #goldheartjewelry, #favouritepurelovemoment, and follow @goldheartjewelry.
Lastly, do LIKE Goldheart’s Facebook page for more previews of upcoming jewellery designs from time to time.
More wedding band designs from Goldheart will also be showcased on their Facebook page for this love and romance campaign.
LOVE is sharing an umbrella in the rain,
going everywhere together,
hand in hand.
I took a few photos for the contest too,
and shall share them here.
Just in case you need some ideas...
But I am certain you will be able to do a much better job than me!
