I was really lucky to have been sponsored an all expenses paid trip to Taiwan by Paktor (www.gopaktor.com) for a movie premiere earlier this month.
What made it happier was knowing that my babygirl Mel was going on this trip together with me!
Although it was a relatively short stay of 2 days 1 night in Taiwan,
it was a magical experience for me.
If you asked me,
I would never have imagined that I would one day be travelling thanks to this humble blog of mine (which regretfully I sometimes neglect due to work).

The soundtrack has got to be one of the reasons why I love the movie so much.
It's just so hauntingly beautiful,
the voice of the singer brings out the poetic lyrics amazingly.
I have been putting this on loop ever since I went for the movie premiere!

If you've been watching as many Taiwanese shows as I do,
you'll see a lot of familiar faces in the show!
The director and screenwriter of this movie might sound familiar to some of you...
He's none other than the famous lyricist who writes many of Jay Chou's songs (and many other famous songs as well).
He was present during the movie premiere and we got to take photos with him!
Hahaha.

下雨天，有人说是天空在哭泣，也有人说那是邂逅的天气，它是如此的浪漫，富有感情，许多故事都是从这里开始的……
一个下着雨的夏末，热爱音乐的乐团“给一个说法吧”主唱阿伦（柯有伦 饰）在市集中汉服摊位遇到美丽的大学生雨婕（韩雨洁 饰），雨婕清新脱俗的气质让阿伦一眼就烙在心中，那股气息令阿伦想起那段大学时期最美丽的遗憾——Sharon（徐若瑄 饰）。
阿伦和雨婕两人的感情渐渐萌芽之际，阿伦的乐团却因为唱片公司的决策使得团员间闹不愉快，雨婕想帮忙分担阿伦的压力与烦恼，却又无力可施，反而造成两人间的不快。阿伦又在此时遇到现已成为摇滚天后的Sharon，两人再次见面，回忆点滴浮现，两人情愫再度悄然而生……
此时，阿伦的好友画家周以乐（释小龙 饰）将这三角关系全看在眼里。对于雨婕，他有着一份特殊情感，原来四年前的那个大雨磅礡的午后，是他救起了发生车祸的雨婕。

We were checked in at San Want Hotel Taipei and the location is really good!
It's located right smack in the middle of 忠孝东路 and the train station is just within a minute of walking.
Wouldn't mind staying there again for my future trips!
:)
I want to go Taiwan again next year for my holiday!
It was a pity we couldn't extend our trip this time round...
But I'll be back soon!

Before the movie started,
they got the cast to give an interview to the Taiwanese media.
Tried to get as close as I could but as you can see in my photos,
super huge video cameras blocking my way.
Nevertheless,
close enough at least for me!

Hehehe my very own #celeb moment there!
Feeling extremely privileged that I'm one of the first few in the world to have watched this movie!
Plus, we got to watch it in the very same cinema as the cast of the movie!
Still very happy that I got to attend such an awesome once in a lifetime event thanks to Paktor and Nuffnang!
