I think I have not updated my blog regarding this,
but I've gotten my braces a few days ago!
Today is already the 3rd day I'm having alien little things in my mouth.
It takes some getting used to...
Especially since there're so many food that I got to steer clear of now.
Plus, I have not figured out how to smile and talk in a non-awkward fashion.
Like what Erica (who's been through a year of braces already) told me,
I need to find my new smile!
So I doubt you're gonna see much of me lately on photos.
Until I find my new smile, that is!

Because I've gotten a few queries on Formspring with regards to where I'm getting my braces done and all...
The dental clinic which I had my extractions done and will be going to for my consultation sessions is The Oral Care Centre.
It's at the Novena Medical Centre, which is really convenient for me because it's accessible by train.
And even if I were to drive, I know my way there pretty well!
Just a disclaimer though,
I mentioned that my braces are sponsored on Formspring,
but I'm NOT sponsored by the clinic.
(Although they're really nice to give me a HUGE discount on my consultation fees.)
The company sponsoring for my braces is Biomers.
They are a company which came up with the innovation of the world's first completely clear braces.
You'll see what I mean by that in a while!
I'm not gonna be biased and just blog about everything good just because I'm sponsored.
I'm going to blog about how uncomfortable it is when the wires get tightened,
probably gonna whine like a bitch about how much good food I'm going to miss out,
how awkward it is that I cannot smile and talk properly initially,
how food is gonna get stuck in between the wires and brackets,
which is super gross by the way!
Thanks to Stacey (pretty babe who approached me for the sponsorship),
you get to see ultra unglam pictures of me while the braces are being fixed.
Probably the most unglam photo you will ever see of me.
I've had my braces on already!

The mould of my upper and lower teeth.
The one on the left is my lower, which looks slightly better and not as horrible as my upper row.
Now you know why I need braces.
SO CROOKED OMG.
And it's really hard to brush some areas properly!
The clear wires by Simpliclear!
My brackets are ceramic,
and usually people who does ceramic will have braces that look like this:
Still visible to some extent!
But not as obvious as the full metal ones.
Here's my Simpliclear braces!

Love them so much because they aren't obvious at all.
Unless you come really up close!
I sent my mum a photo through whatsapp and she thought that I didn't do my upper row.
Sat beside my dad and talked to him for 10 minutes before he even realised that I got my braces done.
And so far, everyone who has seen me with the braces commented on how not noticeable it is!
For those who are thinking of doing braces and considering all the different options,
