Out of all the outdoor photoshoots we've done so far,
and I really mean ALL,
this one has got to be the most challenging,
most postponed,
most ill fated photoshoot ever.
Firstly, we had to reschedule the photoshoot because Dings had very bad cramps,
which I understand cos it's like a monthly nightmare for her.
Then, the second shoot had to be pushed back further because of weather elements.
Can you imagine what a bitch it was?
We were already at West Coast when the downpour came.
We were already at West Coast when the downpour came.
And we waited in vain for 2 hours, hoping that the rain would stop.
Which, of course didn't happen.
The third shoot started off on a bad note because I checked the weather forecast a day earlier and it turned out entirely different.
It was forecasted to rain in the morning and early afternoon so I scheduled everyone to meet at 3pm.
And the rainy areas were in the West so I thought we'll relocate to Punggol.
In the end, there was no rain AT ALL from morning till 2pm.
The downpour came at 2 plus pm.
At Punggol.
BITCH PLEASEEEEEE.
But I decided to still give the weather a chance and head down to Punggol with Suan before asking Mel and Dings to go over.
Once I was there, the sky miraculously cleared up and I messaged Mel and Dings and asked them to rush down.
We also had one minor problem.
Because we had to last minute-ly change the location to Punggol,
and being unfamiliar with Punggol,
we couldn't find the intended place where I wanted the shoot to be at.
So we settled at this random park and I thought that we could still grudgingly finish up the shoot.
Didn't really want to delay anymore since I was super frustrated with this shoot at that point of time.
In the end...
Because that random park was too ugly and unappealing,
we decided to move in search for elsewhere.
And it was a good thing too because we found somewhere much nicer!
Dings reached the location first so we started with her.
Alas!
After 2 outfits and just as soon as Mel reached,
a super heavy rain started.
Honestly thought it was never going to stop and I tried to look for a backup plan.
In the end, I decided to wait out the rain and thankfully it stopped in 20 minutes.
There you have it.
A series of unfortunate events.
The only good thing was that we (barely) managed to wrap up the shoot just before dusk falls!
Would have killed myself if we didn't.
It's the toughest shoot so far in terms of coordinating,
and I felt so bad to have to cancel the shoot at West Coast when everyone was there already!
Thank god everyone was so understanding and nice about it.
Thanks Kat, Suan, Dings, Theodore and Mel!
You'll be surprised to hear this but we've never ever had a shoot that couldn't carry on due to weather before this.
So yupp, lesson well learnt!
Backup plans are important.
So is being flexible and resourceful.
And if you made it through my huge chunk of angst,
GOOD FOR YOU!
Here're some bonus sneaks I picked out,
which won't be showed in the actual launch!
;)

Collection 99!
;)
Check out the origami sail boat which me and Sissy made!
Hehehe.
Learnt it from some youtube video!

Mini colourful sailboats!
Not for sale.

It started to rain in this photo, which is the 2nd outfit.

Cute Mel!

MMMM.
I wonder where they get all their weird stunt ideas from.

We also folded some paper cranes to use as props!
Still remember how to fold them from the primary school days.
I doubt kids nowadays still do that.
Probably playing with their iPhones instead, hahah.

Do refer to the actual launch for the accurate colours okay?
Haven't had time to photoshop these pictures yet!

Was very glad to get this shoot out of the way.

Have a great week ahead everybody!
