2190 days.

Dinner at PS cafe (Harding Road) to celebrate our 6th year anniversary.
:)
It's so hard to fathom the idea that we've been together for so long,
2190 days to be exact, thus the title of my post.
It sure doesn't feel that long though.
Time seems to pass so quickly that we hardly even noticed.

Outfit of the day!
Dreamcatcher lace crochet top upcoming on TTR paired with Fairylights Fishtail Skirt in Blackberry.
It's been long since I found reason to wear heels.
Heh.
:)

We were a lil too early because they only open at 6.30pm for dinner.

This is my original piece from Topshop!
:)
You'll be happy to hear that we got the factory to hunt down the exact same crochet!
And we'll be adding a thicker lining cos the original piece is rather sheer.

Look out for this piece sometime in May!
You're gonna loveeee the colours I picked too,
but I shall keep that hush-hush for now.

My boyflen.

Asked for Al Fresco seating because it looked nice and near to nature. ;)

Nope, he doesn't like to be in front of the camera if he can help it!
Hahahaha.

Thanks to a helpful waiter who volunteered to take a photo of us after seeing how enthusiastic we were with photo taking.
Hahaha.

First time I'm satisfied with the framing of the photo taken by a stranger too!
Usually it turns out looking like crap.
Or they cut away some part of the background that you wanna be part of.
:p

We didn't do anything much after dinner though,
headed to town and walked around for a bit.

When you've been together for so long (okay maybe not long for some people who are already married, with kids etc),
it's doing the small things together that count.
You stop caring about the times he shows up at your doorstep with flowers or gifts,
but you notice when he drops you a random message to say 'I love you.'
You care less about the times he drop whatever he's doing and rush over to meet you,
but you're happy when he makes extra time from his schedule to have a meal with you.
Long conversations on the phone no more,
but just a short, random call in the middle of the day matters much more.
You no longer plan for special dates every single weekend,
but just happy to be able to shop for grocery (and boring things) and watching movies at home.

It's all the small things that make you feel that,
despite of whatever's going on in your life,
there's that one person who loves you which makes everything constant.

I have my bad days but he makes it good for me by never failing to encourage me with positive thoughts.
I have my moments thinking that something is never going to work out,
but he dispels that with his logical reasoning and talks my problems out with me.
He balances out what I lack and more than makes up for it.

I love you.
Many more 6 years to come!
