TTR Favorites 2012

Since I cannot seem to fall asleep tonight no matter how hard I try,
I decided to do a recap of sorts for my year 2012.

Initially planned to do a summary/reflection of 2012,
but decided that it will be too heavy + there's no major milestones also.
Hahaha.
Other than shifting to a new office,
going for the biggest holiday of my life so far (grad trip to Japan),
joining 2 new racks at Miyoc Jcube and KJ Vivocity,
getting braces (!!),
and taking part in 2 Maybelline events plus getting to meet many of my customers in real life,
most of my year went by smoothly with no dramatic up/downhills.

I did read through my past entries from January 2012 onwards to see if there was anything I could write about.
But meh, I was only quite shocked that I look quite different at the start of the year as compared to the end.
Which happens to me every year, I don't know why too.

So...

Here's a blog post on...

Mind you, I took quite long to sift through and save all the photos okayyyyy!
I can only imagine how much more time typing out TTR's history will take.
(But yes, okay I've promised and I will do it!)

In slightly messed up chronological order but not in order of preference:

La Vie En Embroidery Dress!
:)))
Love this and wore this for CNY 2012!

City Girl Fairylights Maxi Skirt!
Still regretting that I did not get to keep it in coral.
:(

Victorian Luxe Lace Top!
One of the pieces which was very well received amongst our customers last year.
Still in my wardrobe now!
:)

Lovely as Primrose Top, which is one of the classic favourites at TTR.
We went on to redo this top in a myriad of prints and colours!
We now have 4 different prints and 6 different colours for this top.
The first version came in 2 prints, then polka dots, then mini tulips.
And we have fluro lime, coral, periwinkle, white, black and cobalt blue for solids.
Hahahaha.

Fresh Picks Denim Hot Shorts.
Haven't gotten sick of wearing this piece yet!

Wild Young Thing Romper which is still a major love of mine.
:)

Tangled Back Chiffon Top which can never go wrong when I feel like wearing something basic so that I can go heavy on the accessories.
;)

Happy Holidays Skinny Pants.
Love the fit and versatility and comfort of this piece.
Kept in almost every colour we launched!

Dreamcatcher Crochet Top and everyone's favourite Fairylights Fishtail Skirt.

Wonderwoman Bustier Denim Romper.
Ever flattering!

Marshmallow Suede Skater Skirt.
Love the texture of this skirt which unfortunately does not show up nicely in photos.
Hehe.

Oopsy Daisy Crochet Top.
ALL COLOURS KEPT.

Racerfront Tank, which we will be relaunching some time in Jan!
:)
Just wore mine out yesterday!
I think I kept 4 colours for this, hahaha.

Laced with Love Top.
One of my go-to pieces whenever I run out of outfits.

Enid Blyton Knit Cardigan.
Mine is soooooo worn already!

Daisy Dukes Lace Shorts.
One of the most loved piece for everyone at TTR!
I think almost everyone kept a piece.

Carribean Seas Eyelet Top.
One of my favourite casual tops to go with denim/floral shorts.

Enchanted Maxi Dress.
Will probably be bringing this back some time this year!
:)

Continental Peplum Tops.
One of the most flattering tops in my wardrobe!
:D

Cest La Vie Tops which need no introduction, I trust.
;)
Did this in an overwhelming 11 colours.

Mythic Drop Shoulder Top!!!
Collaboration piece with Ding's HexandSex.
Love this to death.

Brink Fringe Shorts.
One of the edgier pieces we have from 2012.
LOVE IT.

Happy Days Eyelet Top!
Want to wear it out again soon!!!
:D
Kept this baby in 3 colours!

Stamford Knit Top, a basic knit top in my wardrobe!!!
:)
You can still get this if you wish,
we just released the extra pieces from backorder on our site!

Casual Bandeau Maxi Dress which I'm still wearing frequently.
It's just too flowy and awesome!

And the Rainbow Glitz Fishtail Dress which caused us to spend several painful nights resewing the embellishments on tightly.
But still, too pretty to not make it into my 2012 list.

:)

I must have missed out some,
but I guess this makes a good enough list for 2012!
Are your favourites the same as mine?
;)

And here's hoping that I'll have a lot more favourites in year 2013!
I tend to keep multiple colours for my favourite pieces,
but I shall try to restrain myself a bit this year!
Hahaha.

Scrolling through so many collections also ignites this small sense of pride in me because we've brought so many pretty pieces in for our customers!
:')

Let me know which are your favourite pieces of 2012!
Doesn't have to be from my list, haha.

2.1.12

Really, this is the last of 2011.

Promise that this is gonna be the final post on 2011!
Hahahaha.
I'm such a horrible procrastinator when it comes to blogging,
I'm always left with so many un-blogged photos in my camera!

Anyway I'm so happy that 2012 is finally here,
because although 2011 has been a fab year most of the time,
it sucked real bad towards the end.

We had a stayover at my godma's house on Friday night,
makes me miss the times where we used to stay over during the school holidays!

My latest addiction.
Monopoly deal!
HEHEHE.
And it's not just because I win most of the time okay (erhem)!
Everyone who played with me agrees it's scary how many steps I think in advance.
/scheming smile

My favourite cards from the Toy Story Uno pack!
:)

Woke up bright and early the next morning to help with the preparations for Reyyan's 1st birthday!

Baby Reyyan's OTD!
So cuteeee!
I told Sissy it reminds me of the Balinese Holiday Tunic, hahaha.
:p

Caught in the buff!
Auntie Joyce is going to use your nude photos to blackmail you next time!
Hoho.

My cousin's photo when she was a baby, placed beside her son's.
Don't they look alike???
:D

Found another photo!
CNY four years ago...

LOOK AT ME AND JESSIE.
LMAO.
Jolene looks the same lor, no difference.

Here's a cute photo to erase your mind off the previous photo!

Banner which my cousin ordered just for Reyyan's birthday!

She also rented a helium tank so that we can make a balloon arc...
It's no easy feat trying to tie the ends of an inflated balloon, as easy as it sounds.

Try tying 60 balloons and you'll end up with red, sore fingers like mine.
My nail polish also got peeled off.
:(

The end product!
:D
Anyone wants to hire me as a balloon maker?
HEHEHE.

Changing and getting ready for his partayyyyyye!

Candid shot of Jolene and Reyyan!

Mickey Mouse 2 tiered cake!
The top layer is chocolate flavoured, bottom layer is lychee martini flavour.
I love the lychee martini flavour!
Light and refreshing.

And there's a really interesting tradition that I have not heard of!
During a child's one year old birthday,
they will make him/her choose an item from an array of items!
There's money, chicken drumstick, red eggs, pencil, ruler, calculator and a book.
I don't know what each item represents though.

He picked red eggs in the end!
YUMMM.

Birthday boy feeling happy about his cake!
:D

And our last meal of 2011, at Mellben's!
We went without making any reservations, had to queue for around 30 minutes.
Waiting for the food took another 30 minutes.

Solo shots of Thom because I look too pale and ghastly to be in photos.
:(

Deep fried tofu!

Chili crab on the left, salted egg pork ribs on the right.
:)

Some yummy fried mantous to dip into the chili crab gravy!

I am a spoilt brat.
I only eat crabs when there's someone to crack the shells for me.
THANK YOUUUU BABY!
Hehehe.

Goodbye 2011!
Here's looking forward to a fantastic 2012, for me and my loved ones.
:)
