To A Brighter Smile.

Friday's outfit for my orthodontic appointment!

I've always wanted to wear a plain white tee with skinny jeans, but was afraid it would be too plain.
So I topped the outfit off with some cobalt blue accessories and surprisingly this combination played out well!
:)

I love how the cobalt blue bag and shoes stand out from the neutral/light colours!

This is bad, my cobalt blue obsession is starting to get serious.
Hahaha.

Finally got this micropin out from my gums!
I was happily telling Thom,
'Baby today I removed a screw from my gums! I'm officially screw loose now, hahahah.'

So hard to believe this was drilled into my gums (and also bones) and now it's out again.
Sounds gruesome but I literally felt nothing when it went in and out.
Could only feel the prick of the anesthetic needle!

The size of the micropin was about the width of my thumb,
which is quite big.
But the hole in my gums healed super fast and now I can barely feel it when I run my tongue over.

Anyhow, my orthodontist said that we have no use for it anymore now that my teeth are almost nicely aligned!
She also put me on metal wires during our last appointment to make the entire process faster for me.

So glad to be at Friday's appointment because I missed my Simpliclear wires sooooo much!

Anyway, I have not realised how clear brackets and clear wires make a difference because I started off with them.
So when my orthdontist changed me to normal wires last month,
I felt pretty weird because suddenly they are so obvious...

Some people even asked me 'Eh, you put braces ah!'
Okay la, I think they are also damn unobservant because they didn't realise that I was actually on braces all the time?!

I ♥ Simpliclear!

If you're considering getting braces,
I'd say why not spend a little more and get Simpliclear?
I think it really does make a difference.
Overall, I feel like my smile is nicer with Simpliclear and I'm more confident when I'm smiling at the camera, or people for that matter!

Team dinner at Fish & Co last week!

I was wearing the Houndstooth Top in the pictures, so I deduced that it was on a Tuesday night since it was my Tuesday outfit!
Hahaha.

And I know I told some of you that we'll be launching the Houndstooth Top in this recent collection...
But, I just had to be careless and forgot to bring it for the photoshoot.
I promise, it will definitely be up this weekend for sure!






Erica already found a full time job with her dad's company so Jianting (Jess's boyfriend) has been working in her position for the past few weeks.
Miss that girl so much!!!
Not that Jianting is not awesome (Jess I didn't say that!!),
but Erica has been working with us for over a year so it's hard not to miss her.
Plus, it's always so noisy in the office with her around.

And we're all going to USS next week!
CAN'T WAIT!

I think it's been the longest time since I've been to Fish and Co?
Their menu variety is so awesome now!

Ordered the seafood platter for two (but really, I think it would have been more suitable for 3-4 people!),
Danish Fish and Chips (cheese and spices inside SUPER AWESOME),
London Fish and Chips (similar to the Danish but without spices)
and the Singapore style Chilli Crab Sauce Fish and Chips (love this too!).

I think I'm going back very quite soon.
Hehe.

April marks two different anniversaries for me!
First is the 7th anniversary for Thom and I.
(Sounds like forever right, 7 years!!)

And next up is the first year anniversary of my braces!!!

Went to see my orthodontist last Friday and Dr Lee told me I would be able to take my braces off in a few months time!
So freaking happy because I no longer remember how not having something foreign in my mouth 24/7 feels like.
Simpliclear braces has been awesome though!!

Just the other day, Jessie was mentioning about my braces to Jianting and he was like....
"Eh... She got put braces meh??"
HAHAHA.
See.
The power of invisible braces!
Although it could also be due to Jianting's severe lack of observation skills.

When I take my braces off, I'm going to smile at you every single second, okay?
