Wore this outfit for the movie premiere of Divergent last week.
So obsessed with the movie that I got myself the entire book series too!
Completely ucked into the world of factions and divergents now.
Hahaha.
Have already completed the first 2 books,
going to start on the third book tonight!


Anyhow,
I recently visited COVO to give my hair a revamp!
Haven't had time to visit ever since before CNY and my hair was in dire need of a change in colour and a trim.

Didn't want to stick to the previous style and colour...
So I told my hair stylist to give it a good few inches trim + go darker on the colour!

I love light coloured hair but sometimes they can be a real pain.
Especially when the black roots grow out.

My hair looks almost black now and so far this is the darkest I've seen my hair.
My natural hair colour is quite brown and not even as dark as this.

But I must say,
I'm liking the change.
Realize how dark hair makes me look so much fairer!

This shorter length is much easier to maintain too,
especially when I'm rushing out of the house in the mornings.

Staycation

I think I'm slowly getting back my feel for blogging.

Hahaha.

Typing this entry at 1am because we just finished grating and cooking the pineapple jam.

Yes,

CNY means time to make (AND EAT!) pineapple tarts!

Hooray!

I'm also beyond excited because tomorrow I finally get to bring home a new fur kid!

Had an overly hearty supper of prata, garlic naan, butter chicken and milo peng with Thom on the night of our mini staycation last week.
Got to stay for a night at The Sultan because we booked it for our CNY photoshoot.


Floral wallpapers are definitely a weakness of mine.
Maybe I should try to convince Thom that we need our bedroom in future to look like this.
Hmmm.

Pretty windows and pretty (in another sense) steep stairs to the loft area.

And of course, not wasting a chance to take nice OOTDs with the ultra pretty wallpaper!
Already paid for the room,
of course fully utilise right?

This cardigan is now officially my favourite cardigan in the wardrobe.
HEHE.
LOVE.
It's so furry and comfortable to wear!
And surprisingly,
it's not too warm for the local weather.

I've worn it for like 3 times since I got it last week before finally dumping it into the washing machine.
Ewww I know.
But I just want to keep wearing it!

The super adorable polka dot romper is a self manufactured piece by Dx and Daryl for ShopEverydayPeople.
