Write

3041635-poster-p-1-tumblr-overhauls-its-writing-tools-for-the-medium-age

One of the most beautiful things about writing is that it coaches you to sort your thoughts into some form of coherence,
untangle your mental mess,
crystallise your ideas,
and approach situations in a critical manner.

Whenever I find myself having too many encumbering thoughts swimming around in my head,
I sit down and write after letting my thoughts sink for a bit.

The words don't always flow easily.

Sometimes they tumble out in drips and drabs.

But at the end of the day,
clarity comes to me once the thoughts translate into tangible words.
It's almost as if I can explain myself better to myself upon reading my written, somewhat organised thoughts.

And that, is why I write.

Isn't it strange?
That the most fleeting moments in life are perhaps those which create the most imprinting memories.

Being Grateful

sisters

Sometimes in life,
we lose sight of the things we already have in light of the things we are seeking for.

Not having the best week of my life but through the showering of unconditional love and support people that I have by my side, I am constantly and unequivocally reminded that it is a merely a rough time and not a rough life I am going through. I must have had done something right to be blessed with so many kind and wonderful human beings around me. Or maybe I just got really lucky.

I know I am made of tougher stuff than this and that this storm will eventually pass, however long it takes.

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”

 ― Haruki Murakami

Here's to you if you're going through a difficult time like I am - you're stronger and better than this and you can pull through if you tighten your belt and sit through the ride. Things will only go upwards from here on. Bad things are always going to happen and what we can do is to find strength from within ourselves, rise from the pain and emerge from it all as a stronger person.

Hang in there and brighter days are coming your way!

The 26th.

I'm absolutely no good at keeping up with my current happenings on my blog.
But I thought I'll write this post because I'm filled with so much gratitude, goodness and love in my heart right now, and I want to remember this feeling even after it's long gone.

Each year seems to pass faster than the last.
I'm officially writing page 26 on this book called life.
The past year has been laden with many changes,
some of which I'm still trying to cope with and adjust to.

I'm still not the best person I can be, but I'm trying to put in conscious effort to better myself in small ways every day.

Had the most splendid birthday week and I feel beyond blessed.
More surprises and cakes than I could count.
Thought I was not going to get any cakes this year but nope, they just keep appearing.
But I'm definitely not complaining.
Who doesn't love surprises and cakes?

Also, ate way too much for my own good.
Practically ate my way through the past 2 weeks - holiday and birthday combined.
I don't think I have been fed so well in my entire life before.

The meet ups and celebration are going to continue into next week, which only means I should step up on the workout regime before the the weight comes around.
If only birthday calories don't count.

A friend asked me, "How come you don't put your birthday on FB like normal human beings?!"
I told him because then only the people who really care will remember and send me wishes.

Truth be told, I don't need big fancy celebrations and ostentatious gifts to enjoy my birthday.
All that matters is spending it with the people who matter, those who make me count my blessings every single day and ones who are close to heart.

Thank you if you've made my 26th a happy one.

MBTI

Last week over dinner with my JC girls,
someone brought up the topic of the Myers & Briggs test and sent the questionaire link through our group chat.

The first time I've ever came across the MBTI test was during my JC days.
We were made to go through a lengthy psychometric questionaire during one of our Civics classes,
which tells you about your personality type and characteristics.
It tells you more about how your personality type generally perceives the world and makes decisions based on four psychological functions - sensing, intuition, feeling and thinking.
There are a total of 16 personality types to be derived from the test.

I was curious to see if my test results differ from the one which I got many years back.
So I took the test again.
And this time round, the results describe my personality much more accurately than the first time I took the test. In fact, so creepily accurate that I was a bit taken aback when I read the analysis and descriptions.

Got some people around me to do the test and share their results with me.
And the results coincide with (what I know of) their personalities to pretty large extent as well.
Can I just say that I am super amazed?!

I used to be categorised as ENFP (extroversion, intuition, feeling, perception) but I don't think it fully reflects my personality. Maybe I was distracted and not mindful enough when I was doing the test back then.

Here's the first paragraph from the 16personalities site which describes ENFPs:

"The ENFP personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike Explorers, they are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate, the 7% of the population that they comprise can certainly be felt in any crowd."

Which truly does not sound like me.
At all. Hahaha.
Part of the reason why I didn't feel like the test was THAT accurate back then.

Some parts like "ENFPs are fiercely independent, and much more than stability and security, they crave creativity and freedom. ENFPs' self-esteem is dependent on their ability to come up with original solutions, and they need to know that they have the freedom to be innovative – they can quickly lose patience or become dejected if they get trapped in a boring role." are quite true though. These are also present in my current set of test results.

Edited:

Oh look, apparently there are quite a few other people who developed into an ISFP from an ENFP over time as well.
Looks like I'm not the only one!

I took the test from HERE if you're keen to give it a try as well.
But be prepared okay, there are over 60 questions!
I took around 10 minutes to complete it.

This time round, the test showed that I am actually an ISFP (introversion, sensing, feeling, perception).

To be exact,
22% Introversion, 41% Sensing, 44% Feeling and 31% Perceiving.

ISFP personalityhttp://www.16personalities.com/isfp-personality
ISFP strengths and weaknesseshttp://www.16personalities.com/isfp-strengths-and-weaknesses
ISFP relationshipshttp://www.16personalities.com/isfp-relationships-dating
ISFP friendshiphttp://www.16personalities.com/isfp-friends
ISFP career choiceshttp://www.16personalities.com/isfp-careers
ISFP workplace habitshttp://www.16personalities.com/isfps-at-work

Some parts resonated so well that I actually was quite creeped out while reading through the analysis.
It's just the same feeling you get when you talk to someone who knows you better than yourself, you know?
I would say that it's 90% accurate for me.
Especially so when it comes to the strengths and weaknesses, relationships and workplace habits portion of the analysis.
They have a section on parenthood as well, but obviously it's not applicable to me right now so I didn't bother linking it up.

This test is intriguing for me because I don't think about my own personality and character on a conscious level on a day to day basis.
In a way, it helps me understand myself and why I do certain things/make certain decisions better.

Try it and I hope it does the same for you too, provided the results are accurate.
Hahaha.

Closure

It is something which I never thought I would be blogging about -
but here I am, typing away.

Life is always unexpected.
Along the way, twists, turns and bumps appear along the way to throw you off course.

My 9 year relationship ended earlier this year.

I will not go into specific details,
nor will I be delving into the exact reasons of what led to it.
So if you're hoping for a post like that,
I'm sorry to say that you will be left disappointed.

I used to share more about my personal life on this blog,
and along with it, snippets of the relationship.
So when some of you noticed that you have not been seeing as much of Thomas on my blog as you used to,
I received questions like "hey are you and Thom ok?" or "did something happen to you and Thom? haven't seen you blogging about him recently".
Most of them got deleted because I didn't feel like I was ready to share about anything.
Many of my friends with the exception of those closer to heart also knew nothing about it until recently.

Even before the problems in our relationship started surfacing,
I was already trying to cut back on sharing about my personal life on this blog.
If you realise,
I blog and post actively about my day to day happenings, OOTDs and daily activities but I am not one who shares my thoughts on social media.
People tend to judge too much from what they read/see from social media and I am not sure if I can ever be entirely comfortable with that.

In fact,
I am sure that this is one of the most personal posts that I have published in a long time.

There was no drama,
no slamming of doors in each others' faces,
no shouting matches,
no intense hatred for each other when we ended it.
In fact, there was still care and concern for each other.

It was a calm and rational decision made between two people who talked about it over the course of a few months.

It was more than difficult.
It was an internal struggle for such a long period of time before I came to a decision.
Lost a fair bit of sleep,
couldn't focus my energy on work,
and did not try to talk to anyone about it much because people around me simply don't understand.
And I also felt way too guilty for feeling the way I did.

He was present in such a large part of my life.
One third, to be precise.
The most common questions I got after people know that we broke up was,
"What took you so long to realise that he was not right for you?"
"9 years then you find him not suitable ah?"

At the start,
I did not know how, or why.
I just had this gnawing feeling that something was not quite being right, but I could not put my finger on it.
I did not feel happy,
but I did not feel unhappy about anything in particular either.
It was a weird feeling, one which I was not accustomed to.

It started out with me feeling uncomfortable and irritable whenever people asked me about the upcoming flat,
about if he was going to pop the question soon,
about what kind of wedding were we looking to hold.
Wasn't I supposed to be full of anticipation and excitement to start a new phrase of life with someone whom I love as a life partner?

That was when I started thinking.

Our characters and personalities don't clash.
He was giving and tolerant and always willing to do things for me.
We were together for so long,
surely we must have had each other figured out by now?
Why do I feel this way after so long?
Am I giving up too easily?
Should I put in more effort?
Am I overthinking things?
Maybe things will be better eventually.
Maybe I should just stop thinking and try to sleep.

These were the consuming thoughts which were circling in my head for many sleepless nights.

And we did talk about it.
I gave it another shot for months after the issue surfaced.
For a while,
things got better and I felt like things could go back to being normal again.
But just like a vicious cycle,
things got back to being how they were and the same thoughts eventually crept back into my mind.

Perhaps I didn't work at it hard enough.
Perhaps he didn't take what I said seriously.
Too many perhaps.

I know that if I were to push all these to the back of my mind and just went ahead with all the plans that were already laid out for us,
we would eventually settle down, be married and start a family.
Which might not actually be impossible since we have already been with each other for 9 years. So why not another 9 years? Why not another 19, 29, 39 years?

We knew each other from when we were young, immature and didn't know how life was going to turn out.

We were together throughout our years of formation and development,
and I cannot deny that in more ways than one,
we helped shape and mould each other into the individuals we are right now.

However, growing together did not always mean that you would be growing in the same direction.

What we want in life has changed over the years.
What we look for in a partner has also changed.

Every one is intrinsically different and so is every couple.
What we feel and go through in our relationships are something that no one else can fully understand no matter how much you try to explain.

Whatever decision that you make,
you just have to live with it and make the best out of it.

And that is what I'm trying to do now.
Lost and worried initially, because the life that is in front of me suddenly became uncharted.
But gradually I came to terms with it,
embraced the current state of my life,
and happy that I don't have to live with all the 'what ifs' in my head now.
Eventually, I know that this decision will lead me to where I am supposed to be.

What I did might be perceived as heartless, stupid or impulsive to some people,
but I don't think I have to justify my decision to anyone.
Or owe anyone any explanation except for him.

It is hard to forget someone who has always been there for such a huge part in your life.
It takes an awful lot of effort to get used to the absence as well.
But whoever said that we have to forget?
Moving on does not mean that we have to wipe our memories clean.

You taught me the meaning of commitment and sacrifice, gave me as much security as I needed in a relationship, demonstrated that pride and ego matters less than the relationship, allowed me to be selfish by always being the selfless one, let me be vulnerable when I needed to, and showed me that love is many small things as compared to big gestures.

Thank you for loving me despite and in spite of my numerous flaws.
Thank you for showing me that it is possible to put another's needs before your own.
Thank you for carrying my burdens through difficult times.

Thank you for all of that,
and so much more.

Growing up.

Some late night thoughts.

Photo 7-4-15 5 36 36 pm

I have come to realise that age is really just a number. Age and maturity does not necessarily come in a package, it seems.

I used to think that when I reach my mid twenties, I would feel more like an "adult" who automatically knows how to handle herself in different situations and whatever life throws at her in an adept manner. Someone who is also more than capable of making sound and firm judgements when it comes to the major decisions in life, who knows how to talk to all kinds of people and feel at ease while doing so, and am already confident and comfortable in her own skin.

But I guess you can never really be "grown-up" enough. Maybe we just become better at hiding the fact that we are still not good at those things that we thought we would have been good at by now. I still struggle regularly with being the best possible version of myself, and still am dumbfounded (sometimes helpless) when life throws new lemons at me.

Frankly, I still do not feel and think like how I thought I should feel and think by the time I hit adulthood.

Was reading a book the other day and this quote in particular called out to me -
"I will tell you the secret all of us grown-ups have - we don't know what to do. We never know what to do. We just pretend we do until something works."

If I have to check things off a list though, it shows that I am clearly and officially all grown up. I have a full time job running a business which I have endless passion for, I have been through problems and have managed relatively okay so far I guess (haha), I am competent and independent on most days, I can take care of myself and take care of other people although I prefer it to be the other way round, finance wise doing okay and supporting myself well.

But sometimes I just cannot help but feel like my 6 year old self. Or 16 year old self. Anything but my 25-going-on-26 self.

At which point of life will you start feeling like an adult? Or will you never ever?

What's In My Bag?

I was just rummaging through my absolutely messy bag trying to look for something.
And I ended up taking everything out to organise my bag because it takes me about 10 years to dig for something when I need it.

Also because I don't utilise my compartments,
something which Sissy is forever nagging at me about.
HAHAHA.

Yepp,
so that's how this post came about.

Already took everything out so might as well.

IMG_9050 copy

IMG_9051 copy

The contents look deceptively acceptable (right???) but that's because I just switched to this bag a week ago.

If I had used it for another week or so...
Maybe I wouldn't want to do this post.
Hahaha.

IMG_9055 copy
My bag is from Kate Spade Saturday and it was a Christmas gift.

One of my favourite bags because there are many, many compartments.
Although I don't use my compartments wisely,
it doesn't mean that I don't know how to appreciate them ok?

The pretty colour combination also makes it one of my cannot-do-without bags.

Ok, so let me walk you through the contents of my bag!

IMG_9057 copy

Olympus EP5 with 17mm lens, 45mm lens , Sketch-A-Tote customised drawstring pouch, 2 SD cards

One of the most common questions I get from time to time:
What camera do you use?

Well, there you have your answer.
I'm using the Olympus EP5 with 17mm lens for most of my photos!
I bought the 45mm lens but kinda regretted because I hardly ever use it?

The 17mm is good enough for me on most days.
And also because I'm lazy to keep changing lens la.
Haha.

I always bring too many SD cards around.
I have four to be precise.
One was in the Olympus and the other was in the camera that was taking the shots for this post.
Which leaves two in the photo.

Are you confused yet?

Hahaha.
I have so many SD cards that I sometimes panic when I cannot find the specific one which I am looking for.
Every other week I'm like,
"OMG JO HELP ME FIND THE WHITE/BLUE/BLACK SD CARD!! If cannot find need to reshoot the items omg I'm so dead I will die if I need to schedule another shoot Sunday gonna launch already HOW."

Then I will get the evil eye and the whole office will help me look for said missing SD card.

I am horrible,
I know.

I hope they don't make SD cards any smaller.

IMG_9061 copy
Another thing which I clearly bring around too many of - lip colours

I usually start off with 1 lip colour and the Sugar Advanced Therapy lip balm when I first switch to a new bag for the week.
Then as the days go by and I feel like having different lip colours for different days,
they will slowly accumulate into a sizeable collection in my bag.
Hahaha.

This is the result after one week.

I have no idea why I have 2 of the same lip tint in my bag.

*inserts ashamed face emoji*

IMG_9064 copy
Laneige Water Drop Lip Tint in Raspberry

My lip colours are generally more coral/orange/red in tone but I use this on days I want something more pinkish.

IMG_9066 copy
Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Balm

Best lip balm ever.
Love having this with me on flights!
I think this is my second tube already.

IMG_9067 copy
Not your most conventional lipstick or lip tint or lip lacquer for sure.

Bought this initially off the Style Nanda website and loved it so much that I bought another 2 more when I last visited Seoul.
Hehe.

It works just like how a marker does.
It feels even lighter than your usual lip tint and I really like how natural it looks when it goes on the lips.
Lasts longer than all my other lip tints too!

They only have 3 colours under this lip marker series and my favourite is Red.
The other 2 colours are Pink and Orange.

Favourite lipstick ever - YSL Rogue Volupte Shine #12

Super moisturing and so far the lipstick which suits my skin tone best.
Think I will need to get another tube of this soon because I've been using this every other day.

It looks really red and pigmented on the photos but it glides on reallyyy nicely and is sheer on the first layer but definitely build-able!

IMG_9073 copy
Laneige Lip Treatment SPF 17 - Orange

I am half sheepish about finding two tubes of the exact same lip tint in my bag.
Hahaha.
No idea how they got there!
I think one of them was meant to be in my gym bag.

Already been through a tube of this and stocked up on erm, a few more on my last Seoul trip.
Seeee this is why I cannot go Korea so often.
My bank account will hate me.

I tend to stock up a lot on the products which I like,
because I hate the feeling when things start to run out.

And what if they decide to discontinue a particular product which I really, really cannot live without?

#truewordsofashopaholic
#ineedrehab

Anyway,
I like this on days I don't take OOTDs.
They give a very nice and natural hue on the lips.
And what's there not to love about have SPF on the lips??

Hokay.
Finally we're done with the lip products.
/wipes sweat beads off forehead

I don't really bring other makeup products out on normal days to touch up.
Hahaha.
So not that bad right?

IMG_9076 copy
Chanel Chance Perfume/hair donut/hair ties/ orphaned bobby pin

One of the rare times I actually have hair ties in my bag.
Usually I'm the annoying one who doesn't bring them out and end up having to borrow/beg/steal from my friends.

Ear phones/oil blotter/Eclipse mints/Bio-essence Miracle Bio Water

IMG_9078 copy

Have no idea how miraculous the Miracle Bio Water is.
It actually stated that this product has up to 10 benefits but I have my reservations,
of course.

Only reason I like this spray (yes spray not mist, the water droplets quite huge one!) is because I feel awake and more refreshed whenever I use it.
HAHAHA.

It's a pretty small bottle and not heavy,
so I bring it around if I have extra space in my bag.
Most days I don't mind doing without this.

IMG_9079 copy
Sunnies/xiao mi charger/pen/random slips of paper/stuff from my blood donation

I like to bring the xiao mi charger around even though my car and office both have chargers because...
Sometimes you just don't know.
Remember I have this fear of things running out?
Same goes for battery life.

Hahah.
Ok you may now proceed to call me paranoid.

If the world is ever ending,
I'm sure I will be one of the most extreme ones,
stuffing my house to the brim with essentials and the not so essential stuff.
LOL.

IMG_9081 copy
From my blood donation ERM last week.
You can read about my experience on Dayre!

Yes I know it's been a week.
Time to take out these things from my bag.

IMG_9082 copy

And this super slip of paper was a result of a super random giveaway which I randomly won because I don't even recall participating in any sort of giveaway like ever?
I think they picked me based on the photo I posted on IG the last time I had dinner with the TTR girls at this place.
Which was I don't even remember when.

Oh well,
not going to say no to free dinner for 4 pax!

IMG_9083 copy
House keys/car key/wallet/phone

I realise I'm a black and white kind of girl when it comes to my bare essentials.
These are the items that I bring around if I only have a tiny bag.
Or during weekends.
Or random trips to nearby places.
Or if there's a fire and I have only 10 seconds to grab my stuff and run.

I can be fuss free too okayyy.
Haha.

IMG_9084 copy
The wallet which I've had for 6-7 years now.
The wallet I can always count on to safe keep my 8475394205 receipts and cards and coins.
And the wallet I always end up going back to no matter how many new wallets I go through.

Sounds like a relationship with a vicious cycle to me,
haha.

IMG_9085 copy
And lastly,
keys!

I have a bunch of office keys too but I hardly have to bring them out because I am always with Jolene.
But I think I should pop them into my bag just in case,
you know.
Never say never.

I really like things with my name on them,
I just realised.
Scroll up to see my camera pouch!

I guess it's an easy way for me to identify which things are mine.
And I also secretly like my things to have a sense of belonging.
Haha.

Okay,
here's a pat on your back if you managed to suffer through my ramblings.
And now you finally know why I always carry big bags!
;)

CNY 2015

Whee.
Aren't I a hardworking blogger?
For now,
that is!

Decided to document my CNY happenings for 2015 because I was going through my FB timeline photos just now.
And since I don't upload photos on FB anymore,
I will need somewhere else to post these photos before they go into extinction (or if I delete them when my SD card is out of memory).

Photos are all in square because I mostly edit them for IG and Dayre

Before we took a long break for CNY after the crazy launches and crazy packing,
we had a 收工 brunch at Cafe Melba with the girls at the office to thank them for their hard work.
It's really no joke because we had 2 launches every week and the work load can get pretty insane.
But the team managed to pull through, being efficient as always.
Very thankful for the awesome people that I always get to work with.

I think it is one of the best perks of running my own business.
I get to choose who I work with and there are zero office politics in the TTR office.

By the way,
please don't ever, ever order the waffles at Cafe Melba.
It was the oddest tasting waffles I've ever had.
Odd because it had this bitter after taste.
And was in no way fluffy at all.
BAHHH.

This is the perfect example of calories-wasting.

My outfit for brunch!
I can't seem to remember the last time I posted my OOTD on my blog.
Hahahah.
Oops.

Launching the Leigh Maxi Skirt in Grey next week.

I wonder how come we didn't think of doing it in Grey the first time round.
It's such a good idea and my favourite colour for this skirt.
Which is saying a lot since I kept this skirt in Black and Olive too.

Our annual CNY tradition of making pineapple tarts for gifting to those close to heart.
We don't make that many because it is extremely time consuming and both mentally and physically tiring to bake right after we wrap work up at TTR.

My dad loves it when we bake pineapple tarts.
I suspect it is because the recipe is one that is passed down from his family.
Hahah.
For at least a month before CNY,
he started asking us when he should buy the pineapples (for the jam).

And then when we get down to actually making the tarts,
he will try to help in his little ways.
Which is as far as my dad goes already la.

Usually he's the stern and traditional-no-jokes kind of dad who hardly interacts with us at home.

Anyway,
we ended up with around 10 tubs of pineapple tarts after slaving for many, many hours.
It's hard work.
That's why people charge so much for pineapple tarts.
It's not because pineapples/butter/flour are expensive.

Very thankful to my kind sponsors who still managed to squeeze me in for appointments.
Got my hair done only on CNY eve because I was so busy.

Our little reunion dinner at home.

I know most people have their reunion dinners at their grandparents' house but somehow we don't have that tradition.
It's usually just the 5 of us (plus Xiaobai) gathered at the table.

We're not big eaters so we did not even finish the food you see on the table.
Hahaha.

Photo 21-2-15 11 47 43 pm

Our customary family photo on the first day of CNY.
It's the only time of the year where my dad has no choice but to say yes (albeit grudgingly) to a photo.

Definitely picked the wrong outfit (shoes included) for visiting + eating.
Hahaha.

Last year's family photo

Didn't post 2013's photo on my IG so I have no idea what happened to that photo.

Also, before I took my braces off.

A not quite complete family photo of my maternal relatives!
I love the fact that I have such a huge family.
It makes CNY a very merry affair.

Didn't manage to have everyone inside the photo because some of them left early/have not arrived.
But I don't think we can fit anymore in, really.
Haha.
We need a wide angle lens!

Day 1 dwindled to an end at my grandma's house.
:)

Day 2 came and it was an excuse for us to badger dad for another family photo.
This time, after the first photo I said "爸爸为什么你没有笑!",
and yay managed to get a smiling shot out of him.
Hahaha.

2014's photo.

I know, we're so creative.
Same photo at the same spot every year.
Hahaha.

Same dress, different prints.

We still ended up looking quite different, I think?
Nobody asked us about wearing the same dress,
so I think it's not very obvious.

With my cutest.

No more photos from day 2 because the relatives all came over to my house as per every year,
and I had to disappear into the kitchen to help with the food.
It was not easy preparing food for so many people,
I wonder how my super mum used to do it when we were all still young and didn't know how to help her out.
She's awesome.
:)

Flatlay featuring my favourite ang bao this year

Also,  I had an unexpected stroke of extremely good luck over CNY.
Not meant for sharing on social media platform but I was really over the moon to receive that bit of news, hahaha.

Maxi dresses are good for sitting on the floor and erm, gambling.
Hahaha.

Disclaimer:
Gambling is no good okay, kids?
Only CNY can gamble!

I don't know who dug this photo out when we were at my uncle's house.
I was the chubby and fair baby in the middle of the picture.
And check out my mum's super hip polka dot midi skirt!
Hehe.

This was what I did for the rest of my longggg break after CNY.
Honestly it got boring after a while.
Hahah.

Gotta plan a vacation next year to fully utilise the break.

Random brunch at Artistry

Took us soooo much effort just to drag ourselves out of the house to visit a cafe.
Laziness at best.
I really like the mocha and the duck confit aglio olio!

Bag from Sandy Trove

Took a grand total of 2 OOTDs over the 2 weeks break.
Hehe.
Slightly ashamed for being inactive, but it was a good break.

The Lauren Pelmet Skirt in Denim and maroon knit top will be launched in the month of March!

Became a bridesmaid for a good friend during my break as well.
So many things involved in a full blown wedding.
Ran about the entire day with my fellow bridesmaids and only managed to sit down for a decent meal at the dinner.
Was a good and pretty interesting experience though!

And of course,
extremely happy for my first friend to get married.

Baby soon please!
HAHAHA.

Had the team come over to my house for reunion dinner just before CNY ends.
So much fun and bantering going on.
But maybe next year I'll organise a dinner elsewhere because then I can escape the washing of dishes!
And also because my house does not have enough chairs for everybody.
LOL.

Attempted a healthier lifestyle during my break too.
Will try to keep it up now that work is back in motion.

I think this is one of the longest blog post I've done in a long time.
How about a pat on my back please?
Heh.

Will blog about my exercise routine really soooonnnn.
Promise!
