RENEW.

I love new years.
They represent fresh starts and everything hopeful.

And here's what I've been up to for the last few days of 2012!
This is quite pathetic, haha, I'm still stuck blogging about last year.

(I know I have been owing the TTR history blog post since last year. It will appear on this blog soon, promise!!)
And also because I have a brand new blog layout in the midst of brewing,
I want the post to be up together with my new layout + new url!
Hahahaha.
So many excuses...
But really la, I will get down to it!

I still want to do a blog post to recap year 2012.
Very ambitious please, haha.

Went out with my squash girls for Sushi Tei a few days before 2012 ended.
Didn't take any pictures at the restaurant because of the terrible dim lighting,
and also because we got carried away chatting.

So all I have are my outfit pictures from that day!
(You can also take it as a sneak preview of what's coming up on TTR, haha.)

Wore the upcoming eyelet bralette with the (also upcoming) printed tribal shorts!
:)))
Not a good outfit for eating.

Initially wore it with my new red flats but swapped it for my new Steve Madden heels which gave my poor feet hell.
Girls love to torture themselves just to look pretty, haha.

Tried to take a close up of the pretty eyelet details but fail!
Hahaha.
It's okay, there will be other chances, I kept the bralette in all colours because the fit is too awesome.
:p

And the shorts will be launched this coming Sunday!
Our very first launch of 2013,
filled with pretty clothes!!!

We have so many gorgeous pieces coming up in the first month of 2013,
I foresee my wardrobe crying for help again.

Hehehe.
Wore this pretty crochet neckline sundress on the first day of my Bintan trip.
Randomly inserted this outfit in since I'm now blogging about the upcoming items this Sunday!
Which reminds me, my Bintan trip also haven't blog yet.
OMG.

And on the very last day of 2012,
Thom and I decided to spend it with good food at our favourite restaurant.

Wore a super blingy outfit to end off 2012!
:)
Sequins top and bronze leather shorts, both from Topshop.

No points for guessing where we went!

Managed to take more photos than usual though,
because we were seated at their lounge bar area with better lighting!
:)

Just because it's to celebrate a new year,
I ordered some items on the menu which I have not tried before.
I usually stick to the same choices because I liked them and why risk ordering something which might not turn out to be nice, right?

And bahhhhhh.
Should have just stuck to my usual choices.
D:

Just gonna order mushroomsoupmushroomsoupmushroomsoupmushroomsoup in future.

Act one Instagrammer because I kept teasing him about how his Instagram is dead.

Panna cotta.
Which was bad.
:(

The warm chocolate cake was 1000000000 X better!

Wore the casual bandeau maxi in black for my nephew's 2nd birthday lunch on the first day of 2013!
:)

Nothing like spending the New Year with family and people I love.
<3
Jess didn't put on makeup so she didn't want to be in the picture, boo.

Met up with my bestie after that and caught a movie with Thom at night.
Wreck It Ralph was unbelievably awesome.
Guess it helps when you have low/no expectations.
Hahaha.

OKAY BYE!
BLOG AGAIN SOON!

31.12.12

Hello, 2013.

May the coming year be another year of happiness, awesome memories and fabulous experiences!
Thank you all for a wonderful 2012.
I may not be the most diligent "blogger" around but I'm really thankful for all the opportunities that came to me through this platform.

Every year seems to be getting better and here's hoping that 2013 will be the best year yet!

And of course, may TTR go even further in year 2013!

HAPPY 2013
in advance!
:)))
May yours be filled with the most awesome people and truckloads of happiness!

2.1.12

Bring it on, 2012!

Haven't you all gotten sick of my transiting-from-2011-to-2012 blog posts yet?
Hahaha.
You can click 'X' if you want to,
but this has GOT to be done.

*New year resolutions!*

I've got quite a few of them and I intend to keep them fulfilled!
Super determined.

NOT in order of importance:

1) Be conscientious in bringing TTR to greater heights!
I admit, sometimes I tend to slack off or get distracted or get disheartened.
But this year, I'm determined to concentrate and focus.

2) Stay healthy and fit, attend my fitness classes regularly... Like at least 2-3 times a week!
Hahahah, got a bad feeling that this is going to be hard to keep.

3) Have regular sleeping hours and stop thinking so much before I sleep.

4) Eat regularly!!! No binging Less binging on junk food!

5) Spend more time with my loved ones.
I'm so bad at maintaining the relationships around me, I don't think anyone else does it worse than me.
This year shall be a year that I'll make efforts to stay in touch with my close friends and family!
I started by sending new year whatsapps/messages to my friends over the past few days. :)

6) Nice (non decaying) teeth!
Will do so by visiting my dentist every 6 months.
And maybe, braces?

7) Go home for my mum's home cooked meals more often!
I don't always have the luxury to go home for meals, because by the time I'm done with work at the office, I can only eat out.
This year shall see me starting work early everyday, and heading home early everyday!

8) Read more.
I used to read a lot.
But nowadays I read a lot lesser due to lack of time.
And I think I need to start this habit of mine again to enrich myself.

Andddddd, I think that's all!
Not too many for me to keep up with, just nice.
:)

2011 has been a really busy but by far the most fulfilling year of my life.
It moved so fast I could barely catch up...
The major achievements of 2011 had mostly to do with TTR.
We got ourselves into brick and mortar shops through First Day and KissJane,
found a new office (which was totally not in our plans for 2011),
set up our very own office "studio",
manufactured close to/over a hundred designs for the past year,
hitting 5000 likes on our FB page,
having a bunch of really sweet and supportive customers.

And on a personal note,
2011 is the year I've graduated from NUS!
:))
My very own personal milestone in life.
Also started giving my parents "allowance" 1 month ago.

Here's looking forward to what 2012 brings.

I wish for the most wonderful year for the loved ones around me,
my dearest TTR customers,
and you, my blog reader.
Thank you for reading even though I get so boring sometimes,
I can't even stand myself.
Hahaha.
