Sunday Rain-day.

Brought the TTR girls to brunch!
Gave them a few options and we ended up at Selfish Gene Cafe.

I ordered the smoked salmon bagel and an iced mocha.
:)
IT WAS SO GOOD.
Bagels are one of my favourite pastries.
I love the chewy doughy texture.
Add a dollop of cream cheese and you get absolute perfection!
It came with sour cream though, and tasted as good.

I haven't had smoked salmon with bagel before and I have to say that this combination is genius!
Will go back just for this again!!


Took the flower from the cup and put it in Sissy's hair.

Ep and Linette ordered the breakfast platter set!
I had it once before when I visited Selfish Gene for the first time.
And I have to say that it's one of the nicer breakfast platters around!

Brunch was fun so I'm hoping to make it a monthly/bi-monthly thing for TTR!

Kept both Polka Dots and Origami because they are too cute.
And that's just something that I'll do.
Plus, you can get so much mileage from this set!

I can totally wear the top with a solid colour flare skirt, or high waist denim shorts, or the skirt with a bustier top or simply a plain cotton tank top!

So many possibilities when it comes to mixing and matching.
Heheh.

I always will have a weakness for flare dresses because they accentuate the waist so well.
We got the inspiration to do this dress from the Strut Denim Bustier,
if you realised!
So the cutting is needless to say, very awesome!

Friday was an extremely tiring day because our work day ended at 3am.
Spent 4 hours from 11pm till 3am decorating the Miyoc store at JCUBE for TTR's event week!

Yeah we danced on tabletops.

Last Friday night was the most memorable Friday I've had so far this year.

Hung out with my TTR girlies after work and we went to Clarke Quay!

:)

Erica wanted to bring us to this awesome ramen place,

but the queue was so long and our tummies couldn't take the hunger.

So we ended up at Pasta De Waraku.

All dressed up and looking pretty!

It's quite depressing to be out on a Friday night actually,
you've to queue everywhere you go!

Dinner was really average and not worth mentioning...
But we were excited for our after dinner plans!

It started with someone suggesting it on our group chat casually.
Who knew that all of us (okay except Linette) were so enthu about it...
Hahaha.

Didn't want to create unsightly mess by puking our dinner out after the ride!

Haha I managed to smuggle past as a student!

We went for the Extreme Swing because it seats 5.
I've asked my friends who went for both before...
And they told me the Extreme Swing is the scarier out of the 2.

I'm always very daring and 'okay let's go!' for thrilling rides.
So it wasn't much of an emotional struggle for me.

Quite intimidating though, once we got onto the platform!

They assigned me to release this trigger which will set the ride in full swing once we reached the top.
WHY ME....
Having to release the trigger and knowing when we will drop downwards is way scarier than just being on the ride itself!
It felt as if everyone's lives depended on me.

If you're going on this ride with your friends,
I urge you to sit as far away as possible (ie Erica's position) and have nothing to do with the trigger.

Rising panic in our hearts.

I didn't prolong the torture for everyone though,
took the plunge and released the trigger quite quickly after we reached the top!
SO BRAVE OF ME RIGHT!

Towards the end, we screamed 'TTR HUAT AH'!
Hahaha.
I highly doubt that the people standing below could make out what we were screaming though.

I shall digress and blog about the very same night (after all that crazy adrenaline rush) we went down to Miyoc to decorate the shop for our TTR week which is still ongoing!

love the end outlook of the event area!

Had feedback from the shop staff that our customers are really enthusiastic.
