Frustrated.

Frustrated is how I feel right now.
I'm throwing a bitch fit at Thom right now,
because some last minute interruptions had to spoil my otherwise lovely day tomorrow.

We were supposed to go to for the International Buffet Lunch at Mandarin Orchard tomorrow,
but we called to make reservations too late.
And as luck would have it,
we were denied the reservation because they were supposedly full on bookings already.

And that stupid boy went to arrange tuition at night when I wanted to suggest going dinner elsewhere.

OKAYYYYY.

Take deep breaths.

To pick up where I left off at my last entry,
Jessie's birthday dinner!
Wasn't any grand affair because we wanted to save the best for her 21st.
There's still 5 more years to go okay,
if we exceed her expectations now what are we gonna do for her 21st?
Getting ahead of myself now but it sounds logical, no?
:p

Brought the DSLR out because it was buried at home for the longest time ever!
Too lazy to bring the monster out when I can bring the G12 around.
Heh.

Got her a helium balloon...
Because she asked hinted for one.
Still a kid at heart, hahaha.

She was wearing the Tree Fairy Toga Dress in Creme Brulee!
;)

Dined at Prive because we had strict instructions from the birthday girl to find a cosy place.
It was a Friday night so it would definitely be mad crowded if we headed to town!
Since Jess was celebrating with her friends in the afternoon at Sentosa,
I thought Prive would make a good place for dinner!

Prive was good because there was no queue at all.
We waltzed right in and got seats immediately.
:)
I guess it was also because that place is not really accessible by bus or train!

I feel as if I'm bringing 2 X 16yros when I'm out with them...
Hahahaha.

See what I mean by 2 X 16yros???
LOL.

My portobello salad.

Sissy's smoked salmon salad.
We are such salad-y people!
Hahaha.
I think the previous day we went for fitness class,
hence the salad.
Didn't want our efforts to go to waste!

Here comes the fried food!
Trying my best to stay away from them!

Mushroom soup which didn't disappoint!
:D

(An uncentralised photo taken by the wait staff -_-)

We didn't buy a cake beforehand because obviously we would be unable to finish off an entire cake by ourselves...
But I crept to the counter after making an excuse to go to the restroom,
and ordered 3 cupcakes + a candle!
:D

There's black forest, honey & figs, apple & cinnamon!
And they were thoughtful enough to do the 'happy birthday' deco even though I didn't request for it.

Left: 'I don't know what to wish for!!!'
Right: Finally making her wish!

The words were slightly smudged...
:(
(BY ME)

Asked her to pretend to be modeling,
so here are her model wannabe poses!! :p

HEHE.

Camwhore in the toilet! ♥
HEHEHE.

Jolene trying to take a proper photo of her OTD (Sassy Girl Romper in Burnt Sienna),
but I just had to keep disturbing.
Lol.

Finally she decided to include me!

WIW: Fendi inspired Cocktail Lounge Dress! :)

Love this design the moment I saw it!
Didn't expect it to turn out so nicely done...
:)
Hugs my nonexistent waistline and makes it seem as if I have a waist!
I would totally love to wear this to work if I'm an OL!
Hehe.

Also possible to wear it out on normal days like I did!
In fact, I kept it in all colours.
HAHAHA.
That's how much I loveeeeeee it!

Done with this blog post!
I'll be blogging previews of the next launch soon!
It's amazing how my mood feels so much more uplifted now at the end of this blog post.
Hahaha.
Maybe I should blog more then.

Mish Mash of Updates.

Today is Jessie's birthday!
Hehe, so...
♥ ♥ ♥ Happy 16th Birthday!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
Although I've already wished you a few thousand times already.
Hahahahahaha.

Me and Sissy went to town earlier this week to search for the ever elusive birthday gift which Jess asked for.
Her request was really simple, but even after we scampered all over town the entire afternoon, we couldn't find any that were suitable!
She asked for a bag or a wallet.
It was that simple, but really a nightmare to shop for!

What do 16yros nowadays look for in a bag/wallet anyway???
I think when I was 16, I used brands like Billabong/Ripcurl/Pierre Cardin but I don't think 16 yros nowadays use them right?
-________-

We came across these huge balls which you can write your wishes on...
I think they only do this every Christmas!
I was telling Sissy that I vaguely remember doing this last year too,
because I did!

At Citylink!

LOL I was damn surprised that I managed to dig these photos out!
Was about to launch into a tirade of how-time-passes-so-fast-in-the-blink-of-an-eye,
but I shall refrain.
.

.
.

This was what I wrote this year...
At Cineleisure.

My wishes every year has something to do with TTR.
Hahaha.
I wonder what will I be wishing for next year?

(I think there's a smudge/fingerprint on my camera lens...)

There's now a Sticky shop in Cineleisure!!

Not a big fan when it comes to popping them into my mouth (I think they taste really artificial!),
but they look too adorable to resist!

I was craving for some milk tea so we decided to give Artease a try.
It's a relatively new bubble tea shop located on level 1 of Cineleisure,
just beside Sticky!
Love the sleek outlook of the shop,
although I really cannot tell that they sell bubble tea at first glance.

They have cute graphics on their menus and cups!

By the way, how do you love my Sassy Girl Romper (with a sexy open back)??
Hehehe.
Inspired by a Miss Selfridge piece,
but I think our version is a lot friendlier when it comes to wearing/toilet trips!
Will launch this in the upcoming collection!
;)

You can choose the sugar level (the in thing for bubble tea shops nowadays)..
I wanted 70% for my hazelnut milk tea but the counter guy told me it will be too sweet.
So I settle for 50%,
but it was too bland for my liking!
GRRRRRR.

Giant wall mural inside the shop,
a random guy's face accidentally got captured within the frame.

Sissy wearing the Rah Rah Cheerleader Skirt in florals!
:D

Thought we could capture the Christmas tree in the background...
But #majorphailzxzx.

A Coca-cola Christmas tree!

They have all these colourful elephants in different designs all over Orchard Road.
So we picked our favourites and took a photo!

My turquoise elephant matches my turquoise necklace + sandals!
HEHEHE.

MANY MANY MANY PIGEONS...

The prettiest Christmas decorations I've seen this year!
Outside Tangs.

Caught Already Famous and it was goodddddd.
Love Michelle Chong!
She's so talented.

Afterwards was dinner at Tampopo!
Wasn't a very enjoyable one though,
I think their food standard dropped quite a fair bit since my last visit.

We ended up not buying anything that day for Jess..
Hahaha.
I'm such crap when it comes to buying gifts by the way.

I love buying gifts for people,
but they usually are spontaneous and not triggered by any occasions.
When I pass by something which I think a particular person would love,
I buy.
But whenever I need to buy for birthdays, Christmas etc,
it's SOOOOOO hard to pick the right gift!
I'm really particular about picking suitable gifts for the recipient...
Because I've gotten too many gifts which I have no use for/don't like at all.
And then they get chucked in some dark corner of my house.

We eventually settled on sponsoring Jess a trip to USS for 2 pax!
I photoshopped a really CUTE (bwahaha) voucher/birthday card and printed it out for her.

It's been some time since I last updated my Instagram photos here,
so here are some!
In case you wish to catch my updates from your account,
my username is shoppingluvzme.

Prints I've worn!
:)
Can you tell which has been launched/which is upcoming/which will not be sold on TTR?
HEH.

My recent addiction.
There're still a few bowls in the fridge, waiting for me.

THIS. IS. SO. YUMMY.
Thank you Sophie for the early Christmas present!

My sparkles fetish is back.
Maybe it's due to the time of the year.
:)
I got my sparkly flats Christmas last year,
never imagined that the same pair of flats could last me so long!

Helium balloon for the birthday girl!

Sitting on my pile of discarded clothes,
looking all woebegone because she knew that we were going out without her.
:(

Had a mini dinner/celebration for Jess just now.
Will update with the photos soon!
Super duper love all our outfits, hehe.
