My weekly workout routine.

Shared this really routine which I have been following on my Dayre a few days back...
Thought I would post it here as well if you haven't seen it on my Dayre!

And also,
no need to crop and chop this picture into pieces because Dayre only allows posting of square photos.
Hahah.

I found this randomly one day when I googled for "abs workout".
I do this routine at least twice a week and after a couple of weeks,
I noticed more definition in the abs area.

I think it also depends on individual's body type.
My body gains muscle reallyyyy easily.
I've only started going to the gym regularly since the start of this year,
but Jolene said that I look like I exercise until damn hardcore, like every single day go gym kind.
:(

I don't really like myself looking too muscular,
but the bright side is that I tend to look sporty and fit even though I am not?
Hahaha.

Other than this,
I try to do a long distance run (~5km) once every week and go for 2-3 yoga classes at the gym weekly.
I first started going to the gym for their spin classes...
But I'm really worried that my calves and thighs will get too muscular,
so I stopped.

I used to exercise really sporadically...
Like whenever I feel flabby or not lazy.
And my stamina is really bad because my general lifestyle is pretty sedentary.

And I guess the main difference (other than looking slightly more toned) that I feel now that I exercise on a weekly basis is that I feel less sluggish and lethargic throughout the day.
Before I started working out weekly,
I would start feeling tired mentally and physically around evening time even though I sleep more than 8 hours every day.

But now I hardly even feel tired.
Maybe just a little sleepy after my meals.
Hahaha.
Food coma.

If you're one of those who work in an office and always feeling a lack of energy even though you have more than sufficient hours of sleep,
then maybe consider changing your lifestyle to a more active one.
Works for me!

I think I've been doing a pretty swell job of keeping onto of my 2015 resolutions thus far...
But still too early to say,
it's barely past February!

Have been conscientious with my plans to hit the gym and weekly runs,
save for last week which was CNY week.
Hahaha.
In my defense,
I still did a 5.4km run at the park just right next to my house even though I didn't manage to visit the gym.

I was really happy when Sylvia of vivreactivewear.com emailed me earlier and told me she would love to send some sportswear over to me.

Eagerly ripped my parcel apart when I received it and am happy to report here that I love all the 4 items I picked!

Escapade Active Tank

Linked it up for you to save you the hassle!
I heard from Sylvia that this is selling really fast.
Grab yours quick!

Sizing wise, I'm a UK6 and wears Size S for this tank top perfectly.
Material is really stretchy and it comes with an in-built bra to provide maximum support for your workouts.

Honestly super impressed by the fit and choice of fabrics (I have this secret workaholic habit of checking out fabrics on all kinds of apparels) for their manufactured pieces.

Can't wait to feature the rest of the pieces I've picked,
and of course to wear them for my workouts.
Hehe.

And before I forget,
you can quote <joycesayshello> for a 10% off minimum $50 spent!
Yay to discount codes!

Side note,
I'm really loving my vibrant red hair colour which I got done in time for CNY at my trusty hair sponsor,
Covo Salon.
