Outfit of the day:
True Love Lace Top in White from TTR,
Magnolia Chiffon Shorts in White,
shoes from Jeffrey Campbell,
name bangle from Sensibar
Lace and florals continue to remain an obsession of mine,
so you can be sure you'll see more of them coming up on TTR.
I didn't have much inspiration pairing up the True Love Lace Top when the stocks for it arrived initially.
I don't know if it happens to you or it's an occupational hazard of mine,
but sometimes I stare at some items and have no idea how to match them to do them justice.
But once I started the ball rolling with this top,
I'm loving how they can be matched so effortlessly with almost any pair of bottoms!
It's like they just add an instant touch of elegance to any coordinate.
As for the floral chiffon shorts,
it received quite a bit of attention when I posted it on my Instagram earlier.
Definitely a happy thing to know that my efforts in searching for nice floral fabrics paid off.
Will most probably be launching it this week in a mid week launch!
;)

Dropped by the Public Garden flea market at Triple One Somerset yesterday because I wanted to look for a camera bag/pouch.
Recently got myself the Olympus EP5 with 17mm F1.8 lens and the complimentary camera bag that came with it was all black and boring,
so I thought I could find something nice from the flea market to replace it.
For those who have been asking me about my new camera,
I will try to do a review of it soon!
So far,
I'm in love with the photos it gave me even though I didn't have a good experience with my previous Olympus camera.
Didn't manage to find what I want from the flea but I chanced upon a gem of a store selling really pretty cakes!
I stood in front of the Little House of Dreams booth for a long while deliberating on which to buy.
Went home with 2 cake-in-a-jars because they seem easier to take away than the sliced cakes.
And they look cuter too!
I've never tried cake-in-a-jars before,
and I was curious to know how they taste/whether they taste different from normal sliced cakes.
I paid $12 for a jar of red velvet and a jar of chocolate salted caramel.
Quite pricey but I'm a sucker through and through for pretty packaging!
And here're some other updates from my weekend!
WHY DO WEEKENDS PASS SO FAST?
Too fast.

Tried to have something healthy for breakfast so that I can start the day feeling good!
Bought this box of fruits, nuts and muesli from NTUC.
It's called Dorset Cereals and comes in an organic looking brown box if you're keen on checking it out yourself.
It isn't cheap and honestly doesn't taste as good as normal cereal.
But I shall stick with it for a while and see what good it does for me!
I have to finish the entire box anyway, haha.

Am a happy girl whenever I receive parcels!
Hehehehe.
Shall I do a post on my Style Nanda collection soon?
I'm so in love with their makeup,
I'm almost buying the entire range already!
;(
So bad for the wallet but I cannot resist.

And lastly,
a highly recommended poignant read,
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.
I've never been such touched by any other books that I've read so far.
Was bawling my eyes out during the last few chapters.
Now I know why so many people are raving about this book.
I got the John Green collection from Kinokuniya so I'm gonna start on the other books really soon.
I'm trying out this thing whereby I shut down all my electronic devices (handphone and laptop) at least an hour before I sleep,
and doing relaxing things like reading for that one hour.
I find that this really helps in my insomnia and I go into sleep a little easier.
I hope your weekend has been either restful or happening.
This is all for my weekend updates!
:)
I look foward to a fulfilling week ahead.
Oh, and hi December!
