Blogging about last Sunday because I was cooped up at home for the entire weekend that just passed.
Sometimes it feels good too,
to just stay at home and do nothing.
Sometimes it feels good too,
to just stay at home and do nothing.
Outfit of the day:
Romper upcoming on TTR,
white chunky heels from Jeffrey Campbell,
shades from Bangkok,
bag from Bangkok,
white floppy hat from Accessorize
I surprised myself by keeping this bright watermelon shade of pink for this romper when there are other colours of this romper which are more "me".
But I thought that my wardrobe needed some outstanding pieces like this,
so I kept it.
And surprisingly (again),
I love this colour.
Of course I kept my favourite colour (WHITE!) for this romper too.
But I thought that pink makes a really lovely change.
And nope, I did not wear that hat along for brunch.
People would have probably thought that I'm crazy if I were to do that.
Maybe if I were overseas, then yes.
Brunch at Loysel's Toy!
Thom has been bugging me to go with him like, forever.

Latte for Thom and iced mocha for me.
Their coffee was really strong stuff though,
kept me awake till 5am that night.

LOOK AT THAT RICH, YELLOW, RUNNY YOLK.
Slurps.

The eggs benny which I ordered was love.
I really liked that it came with bacon, ham and smoked salmon instead of just plain ol' ham.
Poached eggs were done perfectly too,
as you can see from the photo where I poked it open and told Thom to "hurry baby take photo for me!!".
The breakfast platter which Thom ordered was mediocre at best.
Skip that if you're heading there!

Would definitely return for their awesome possum eggs benny!
The atmosphere was pretty nice for a quiet Sunday brunch as well.

Bicycles for rental,
if you want to do some post-brunch exercise.
Loysel's Toy is near Kallang River,
so you can explore the area on bicycle if you rent one from Loysel's Toy.

Dinner was at Poulet.
As usual, I went for the Braised De Canard and it was good.
I always prefer duck to chicken for some reason.
Thom regretted his order then moment it was served,
the chicken looks really pale in real life and I kept saying that it's "sick people food".
It tasted really bland as well.
I think Thom just had bad luck with ordering food that day in general.
Hahaha.
I liked that there was no starch in their main dishes.
Felt only 60% full after finishing what we ordered.
:)
Favourite dish goes to the sauteed wild mushroom with poached egg!
Never fails me whenever I dine at Poulet.
Or I might just be biased because I really really really love mushrooms.
Sunday has to be my favourite day of the week.
Thom and I usually spent Sunday enjoying each other's company,
checking out new food places,
catching the latest movies on screens.
Already looking forward to this coming Sunday!
And lastly,
sharing with you about my new shoes/bags/accessories sponsor,
INFINITE PIXIE!
(They also have a gif banner on the side of my blog now because they are one of my regular sponsors!)
I'm super excited to pick out my sponsored items every month because their range of products are so awesome!
The owner of Infinite Pixie has really superb taste in whatever she puts up on the site.
I am always in a happy dilemma of not knowing which items I should pick when I browse through their sites.
I definitely gravitate towards picking shoes though,
since I'm such a shoe hoarder.
So,
when I laid my eyes on this gorgeous pair of Cinderella glass heels,
I KNEW I HAD TO OWN THIS.

Mad mad love because this magical pair of heels extends and makes my legs look wayyyy longer than they do!
Super play cheat way to look as if you have long legs!
And I don't have to rack my brains on how to match this pair with my outfits at all.
Transparent heels can match with everything and anything.
It's really comfortable to walk in as well.
Plus points!

Outfit of the day:
Issey Pleated Spag Top in Navy from TTR,
floral fishtail skort from Ferris,
Transparent heels from Infinite Pixie
I don't have a nice body proportion because I've rather short legs compared to my torso...
But with a high waisted bottom and a smart choice of heels,
I can look as if I have long enviable legs too!

I just picked out my items for December from Spree 92!
;)
Can't wait to receive them!
For your information,
Infinite Pixie opens their sprees on a weekly basis with a minimum of 20 new designs.
And usually, their sprees open on Thursdays and closes on Tuesdays!
Once the spree closes,
your item(s) will take only 7-10 working days to reach Singapore.
The owner is also extremely efficient in mailing out the spree items,
so you'll definitely receive your items sooner than other sprees out there which take at least 3-4 weeks to deliver your items.

Here're my picks from their latest spree.
Can't wait to receive my parcel already!
Can you feel my excitement?
;)
Love shoes so much but I really got to cut down on getting them because my house is running out of space to store them!
Out of 10 pairs of shoes in my house, 8 pairs belong to me.
I really need a walk-in shoe wardrobe for my future home.
(And I need to make sure Thom reads this blog post, especially this part.)
Bye for now.
And follow me on Dayre if you have not!
www.dayre.me/joycesayshello
I'll be updating some of my favourite buys from Korea there very soon!
