Today I'm going to be sharing about female issues with regards to having a healthy V-zone!
Which by the way,
I'm sure will be of interest to every female reader of mine.

I don't know about you,
but I have a check list showing all my personal essential items to make life easier for myself whenever I pack for my work trips.
And in that check list,
I have my phone and laptop chargers, overseas adaptor, skin care items from my dermatologist, makeup pouch, vitamins and of course, panty liners!
I was not a frequent user of liners before I started going on monthly overseas work trips.
I didn't see a need to use them other than the few days after my period.
But I really changed my habit of using them after realising how awesome liners can be.
Goodbye, disposable undies!
(Which by the way, gives you the most uncomfortable feeling while wearing. You never know when they are gonna tear apart, hahah.)
Yes, I'm a super loyal user of Kotex panty liners!

And so being a hardcore fan of Kotex,
I was really happy when Kotex got me to do this post for them and sent me tons of panty liners from their new range,
Fresh Plus Liners!
I love wearing Kotex liners on a daily basis and for good reasons as well.
Wearing liners keep our V-zone clean and fresh and mostly importantly,
prevent staining on our intimate wear!
It makes washing a lot easier.
Trust me,
that's coming from someone who has begun to wash her own clothes on a daily basis!

I think many of us tend to spend a lot of time and emphasis on skin care and hair care but we neglect to make sure that we have a healthy V-zone too.

I've been through a few other brands before sticking to Kotex because of one main reason...
After a super long day of activity (especially when I'm out on work trips and have to do a lot of walking),
Kotex liners DO NOT BUDGE/FOLD/BUNCH UP at all.
How awesome is that!
They are extremely sticky and for that,
I feel extra secure when I'm wearing them.
Now, if you're going to be wearing liners on a daily basis,
it would be best to find one that is breathable so that undesirable odor, growth of bacteria and yeast can be prevented.
And guess what?
Kotex is the first brand in Singapore to have been dermatologically tested and proven to be suitable for daily use.
They are also the first brand to own a 100% breathable range of liners.
Which is again, why I love Kotex so much!
I also did a simple absorbency test using some coloured water and 2 different brands of liners.
One of them being Kotex, and the other I shall call Brand X.
I placed 2 liners side by side and I poured a spoonful of coloured water each for both liners.
And I guess you can see for yourself the end results!
It's pretty obvious that the liner on the left looks damp and wet on the surface while the liner on the right was able to absorb the water well with practically no dampness on the surface.
Unveiling the results,
I have Brand X on the left and Kotex on the right!
Kotex liner performed spectacularly well in terms of absorbency,
which I'm sure is what every girl is looking for in a panty liner.
I did this little experiment in the TTR office and the girls were pretty amazed by the results too.
I think I've got them converted, heh.
The normal price of each packet of liners is $3.95 for 32 pieces (so affordable right!),
and there's a special promotion pricing going on for the month of September 2013!
