Today hasn't been a good day for me.
The little furball ate a Subway double chocolate chip cookie which was left in Jessie's bag on the floor.
If you don't know, dogs cannot eat chocolates because it can cause fatal reactions.
And we had to send her to the vet's last night immediately because we didn't want to risk anything.
She ate an entire cookie which was bigger than her face.
I think she was either super hungry or super greedy.
The only clinic we could find that was 24 hour was in Jurong,
and so we had to drive down all the way from our house which took 30 minutes.
Vet told us she had to stay overnight at the clinic to induce vomit and be put on the iv-drip.
It was honestly quite a terrible night for us because we couldn't bear to leave the little thing at the clinic all alone,
knowing that she would be really terrified since she is so shy in nature.
Plus, we had to go off without saying bye bye to her.
Which was probably a good thing now on hindsight,
given that all of us would probably bawl our eyes out and refuse to leave the clinic.
(In case you're wondering why we are being so melodramatic, Xiaobai is super spoilt at home and everyone loves her to death.)
I think only those who have dogs at home will really understand.
We all missed her furry presence super badly and none of us had a peaceful night's sleep.
So we decided the next best thing to do was to go fetch her back home the moment the clinic opens.
The clinic contacted us in the morning and told us Xiaobai could only be discharged at 1pm.
By the way, the nurse at the clinic so coincidentally happened to be our TTR customer!
Hahaha.
Thank you Kah Yan (if you're reading this) for being so nice and for responding to our call late last night!
:)
Super grateful that the little one is back home and being her usual self again.
And our house is currently on a chocolate ban right now.
All the rushing to and fro last night and early today has left me really spent and exhausted and I was zoning out half the time during work today.
So I'm really looking forward to my weekend now.
Last weekend was a good one.
Spent half of Saturday (after work) with Thom and we went to have sushi and desserts!

Outfit of the day:
Surprise Skater Dress in Sunshine, upcoming studded denim jacket from TTR!
Randomly grabbed this jacket from the office (new shipment just arrived!) because we were supposed to catch the Hangover III and it's always freezing cold in the theatre when I don't bring a jacket.
Murphy's law.
I think jackets are really a good way to not look so sloppy.
They always seem to add instant style to your outfits!
I think I'm going to be wearing jackets quite often from now on!
:)

Itacho for early dinner because there was no queue yet.
Hehehe.

Hopped over to Hoshino Coffee for desserts because I've heard quite a bit about them.
I ordered the iced green tea latte and it was pretty good!
Unlike the coffee, which Thom didn't like very much.

The french toast was super yummy!
Comes with a little jar of maple syrup as well.
I mistook the blob of cream for ice cream and got cheated into having a big mouth of it.
>:(
It is really filling though,
so I recommend it for sharing especially if you've already had a meal before that!
Green tea souffle on the other hand,
was nothing much worth raving.
I think you can give it a miss if you're not a fan of souffle.
The green tea taste was disappointingly non-existent.

Ending off with an outfit I wore out earlier this week!
Floral bralet from Miss Selfridge, Spring Queen Denim Skirt from TTR.
Kept a piece of the skirt when the backorders came because I didn't remember to keep a piece from the instocks!
Hehe so happy to finally lay my hands on it!
:D
If you also missed out on the instocks like I did,
we'll be putting extra pieces of this on the website next week!
Goodnight and I'll blog again really soon!!
