I love meals.
I don't mean the gobble-down-my-food-because-I'm-rushing-to-do-stuff meals.
I mean the savour-my-food-and-have-time-to-take-photos-of-food meals.
It's the only time that I can ever sit down and enjoy quality time with the people around me,
a time when I can not think about work at all and truly relax myself.
:)
And I love it even more when special occasions call for nicer-than-ordinary meals!
Wore the upcoming bralet for Thom's birthday dinner!
I was sorely tempted to call it Took 100000 Years and Finally It Came Bralet.
I'm SO SO SO HAPPY that it arrived after so many trials and tribulations.
This is the longest time I've waited for any design....
5 months!
Thanks to the inefficient factory.
Still don't understand what is so difficult about this bralet which took so long for it to be manufactured.

On an unrelated note,
here're pictures of my latest (and very awesome) manicure!
I call them my Pastel Sanrio nails!
Done by my sweet manicurist Trina...

This time round,
I wanted pastel checks on my nails.
And Trina had a surprise for me!

I swear Trina knows about my secret love for Hello Kitty.

I'm still in awe at how intricate they are,
I think I spend a good 5 minutes everyday just to stare at them.

It's never too early to start getting a good manicurist for the festivals because you know everyone will be scrambling to get their nails done during then,
and you might not be able to find one that does a good job!
So okay...
Back to Thom's birthday dinner!
LOL.
We went to Ion to shop for his birthday gift before we headed to the dinner place.
Ended up paying for his shopping spree in Topman.
He is like, the most difficult person to get presents for.
What do you get for a person who says he will be the happiest if I don't spend any money to buy anything for him?

Definitely need to get some outfit shots since I'm wearing the long awaited bralet out, right??
Hahah.
Dozo for dinner!
It's the place that we always return to for special occasions.
Cause not only is the food DAMN YUMMY,
but the service is just really wonderful as well.
In my opinion, service > quality of food when it comes to meals.
So that is why I love dining at Dozo so much!
Both service and quality are just damn up there.
Towards the end of our meal,
the waiter came up to ask if there was any special occasion we were celebrating...
And a few minutes later appeared with a complimentary cake for the birthday boy!
Wasn't expecting this at all because I didn't make reservations beforehand to let them know.
The waiter even sang a birthday song for Thom (and got me to join him in singing) LOL.
See what I mean by good service??!!
And then he offered to get a picture of both of us without me asking.
This makes good service even better.
:)
We'll be coming back again Dozo!

And we started off work this week with a welcome meal for a new member of Team TTR!

Hahaha this is like becoming a ritual for us already,
when EP joined us on the first day, we went there for lunch too!
