While the Sissy is invoicing away,
I thought I should get down to blog an overdue entry, hahaha.
We had so much going on last week that I haven't had much time to sit down properly and do a nice blog post!
We're heading off for a nice little trip next weekend,
so we are settling as many things as we possibly can before we take off!
Anyway,
back to the title of this entry.
Not-so-secret confession:
I love having my nails painted.
I think it beats painting my own nails hands down.
Maybe also due to the fact that I always do a shitty job painting my right hand nails.
Hahaha.
And the fact that I always make splotches and then end up ruining them somehow.
So I was over the moon when Trina sent me an email,
asking if I would like to have my nails sponsored by her.
She's a home manicurist (based in Jurong) and you can check out her work here: http://simplicitynails.blogspot.sg/.

Was so excited a few days before my appointment!
And I enjoyed myself tremendously googling manicure inspirations and sending them to her.
Hahaha.
As you can probably tell,
I'm NOT the kind who asks for the single colour whenever I head out to have my nails done.
Since you're already going to get them done by a professional,
might as well give them a bit of a challenge right?
;)
I got Sissy to accompany me for the manicure not knowing that it would be 3 hour long.
Hahaha.
Happy outfit for manicure!
:D :D
Yellow never fails to put me in a good mood.

You can't tell from the pictures...
But I was soooo excited on my way there!
LIKE THIS.
Hahahaha.

My previous gellish nails.
I wanted to do a design this time round which is not as sweet as florals.

The gellish colours which Trina has!
ALL SO PREDDY!
:D
Looking at the gorgeous colour selection!
I didn't have to choose the colours though...
Because the design I sent Trina requires 6 colours in total.
Hahahahah.
Trina said the design I asked for is really a test of her skills,
because she has never done a design with so many colours before.
;)
But still, (as you will see later) she did a really awesome job!
She first helped me soak off my previous gellish design,
trimmed my nails and removed my cuticles!
She did it really meticulously and it was a good first experience because I've never had my cuticles removed before.
And I was told by Trina that if this step isn't done properly,
it could lead to fungal infection.
EWWWWWW.
So, best to get someone qualified to do it for you!
I can haz nice and smooth fingers now!
:D
Work in progress...
My finger nails look like popsicles!
Can you guess what design I'm getting done on my nails yet?

Multi-colour aztec tribal nails!
The nail design which got me my most number of likes so far on Instagram!
;)

And I must say,
I'm really impressed with how meticulous and patient Trina is.
With so many colours and layers,
we had to sit there for 3 full hours before the design can be completed.
She's really nice and chatty though,
so we had an enjoyable 3 hours together, hehe.
(I hope that's the case for her too!)
I'm already brainstorming about my next 'challenge' to Trina!
Cannot wait!
Let me know if you have any ideas for me, hehehe.
You can contact Trina at 8118 5274 if you're keen to book an appointment with her!

Love my nails!
I didn't use to think that people will notice how well you maintain your nails,
but they do!
I've been getting compliments on these nails from the most random people,
like cashier girls (when I pay for my stuff),
and my neighbours (when I press the lift buttons).

Happy me with my nails!

Have a good week ahead y'all!
Can't wait to fly off for my short break this weekend!
Gonna be super awesome!
