So...
My dental visit turned out well!
Well as in, not painful kind-of-well.
But it was a super big shock to hear that I need so much fixing to be done.
Did a 3/4 crowning for one tooth and it took a total of 1.5 hours.
AND, cost a bomb.
Don't wanna imagine how much it's going to cost for the rest of my teeth.
My dentist was really professional, friendly and reassuring!
(With those rates, of course he has to be right?? Hahaha.)
He also advised me to get braces because apparently,
my teeth structure is causing me to brush improperly,
thus causing the decays.
:(((
Still thinking if I should spend so much money on my teeth.
Sigh.
Christmas was spent out of Singapore,
which explained the lack of activity on my blog/twitter.
Went to Genting with my family,
wasn't much fun but it was good quality time spent!
Took lots of photos but I sifted out the more interesting ones...
Still, I think it will take more than one blog post to finish them all.
Because we were so bored we had nothing else better to do other than taking photos,
we took a grand total of 428 photos at GENTING.
LOL.
See how bored we were?

Forgot which coach we took but there was plenty of leg room!

The sisters!

Jack Neo movie playing on the screen.
Gotta love the in bus entertainment!
We didn't know that they would be playing movies on the bus,
so we preloaded the ipad with lots of shows to keep us occupied.

My 'only-slept-for-4-hours-the-night-before-ghastly-pale-face'.
Sissy looks energetic though!

Every time we take the bus up to Genting,
there'll be a stopover at Yong Peng for food and drinks.
Hahahah, and we realised that Yong Peng is Ah Kiao's hometown!
ROFL.

My super duper adorable nephew, baby Reyyan!
♥ ♥ ♥

Reyyan's grandmother, who is my lovely godmother/aunt!
She took care of me when I was young,
and even now, she and my godpa brings us out for dinner once every 2 weeks.
Plus, dimsum brunches every PH.
Heheh.

Kopi/tehsi/milo for everyone!
:)
Outfit of the day:
(NOT MINE)

Love his bear face pants!
Why baby clothes so cute one???
When I have babies of my own, I'll dress them up every single day.
LOL.

#toobored
I started painting my fingernails.
Bwahaha.
Never ever saw a baby who loves food/eating as much as Reyyan.
He's usually grumpy most of the time, wailing and throwing tantrums.
But when there's food,
his eyes light up and after each mouthful of porridge or whatever,
he will clap and give that cheeky smile of his.

So cute........
Why are babies so photogenic!
Hehehe.
I admit, about 1/3 of the 428 shots are of his.
LOL.

Lunch was at the Ah Yi Restaurant after we checked in the hotel rooms...
I think I ate like some monster when I was in Genting.
5 to 6 meals a day and I felt hungry every other hour!
Good thing I didn't have to pay for my own meals, hahaha.
:p

Jess watching Korean drama while waiting for the food to be served.

Didn't take photos of all the dishes because I was too hungry.

My sisters and their silly candycane/rainbow socks.

The glitter man which left us wondering how long he takes to remove all of it when he's done for the day.

We didn't actually get much done in between lunch and dinner.
We walked around looking for bobby pins to buy (which are evidently really hard to find nowadays), trying to sneak into the casino but failed terribly because Jolene looks too much like a kid still.
And the baby had to take his nap.
So that just about sums it all for the activities we did after lunch and before dinner.

Dinner was at this restaurant with so-so food and horrible service.
Not to mention the disgusting tea they serve.
How can anything go wrong with TEA?

LOL.
My cousin had to squat down to accomodate to Jolene's height.

My godparents!
Sweetest couple ever.
:)))

Visited Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum after dinner.
It was really interesting because I haven't been inside before,
and it was my 4th time to Genting this time round, believe it or not. :p

TRY THIS!
Somehow you'll end up reading it wrongly.
I got all of it right on my 3rd try.

The Jivaro tribe and the shruken head of their enemy..
I actually read up on this before because I found it really intriguing.

An antique dental chair.
Looks scary enough!

Jess sitting on the chair which belonged to the tallest man in the world!

The incombustible man..
He could sit in an oven and wait till a leg of lamb gets roasted before climbing out.
So amazing omg.

Can you eat your nose?
:p

That's me on the right side!
I can't do the eye popping thing though, hahaha.

Painting made of toasted bread.

That's the tallest man in history, Robert Wadlow!
Googled and learnt that he died at the age of 22, and he didn't stop growing even till then.
He was 2.72m tall, gosh.

Badges which looked really ordinary...

But they can form into a man's portrait!

So can barcodes, apparently.

Random fact.

And we ended our first day with Starbucks, heh.
Which was a bad choice because the queue was super long.
;(
Part 2 of my Genting trip to be continued in the next post!
