Memories Make Us Who We Are.

I haven't done much over the weekends!
But that's what the weekends are for, aren't they?
:)
Lazing around at home with a book or two, catching up on the old movies which I've missed.
Such a luxury.
Nothing like staying home to recharge after a week full of bustling activities.

Managed to capture some photos from behind the scenes of our last photoshoot!
If you haven't seen the full preview, it's up on the TTR Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tinselrack) already!

We picked the Heritage Food Trail at the Singapore Flyer as the location for our shoot.
I went there earlier this year and thought that the ambience there was perfect for our style of apparels for this collection!

It was relatively empty when we reached...
But the place gradually filled with people (mostly tourists) towards lunch time, and made it quite challenging to shoot there.
Should have seen it coming, since we went there on a Sunday!
Oh well, still glad the photos turned out well!

Me disturbing Mel while she does her make up!

Very happy with the book which awesomest Kat got me!
:D :D :D

I look like I'm trying to pull out Mel's hair here, but please do not be alarmed.
I was helping her put a velcro bump-it!
LOL.

Best shoot ever for the behind-the-scenes-idle-people like me and Sissy.
We get to sit (in the shade), and can order food and drinks.
Hahaha.
Big contrast to some other shoots where we had to lug bags and bags of barangs around + try to fend off mosquitoes + try not to shrivel and die under the sun.

I feel like the models' mum during photoshoots.
Because they always run to me to tie their sashes, adjust belts etc.
Hahaha.

The hokkien mee is damn nice!
Or maybe we're all hungry.
Hahaha.

Kat the photographer slash mirror holder.

Pretty vintage items!
:)))

Love the huge Bruce Lee movie poster!

Shoes galore!

QTQTQT.

Mel looking like she travelled through time from the 60's!
Hahahaha.
I think they got quite a lot of stares as they posed around the place..
People must have been wondering where they came from.

Took turns to goof around with the fake specs!

Love the filmroll effect!
;)
We'll be launching quite a huge collection...
And I love love love so many items in the collection!

#1 favourite from this collection has to be this top:

Remember this top?

The original piece looked like this (with absolutely crappy material which only looks good on camera):

It was a personal piece which we used in our previous shoots and we've got many requests to manufacture it!
And we did!
That was back in August.
Now's November already!

LOVE THIS TOP TO THE MAX PLEASEEEEEEE.
Kept all the colours for myself and for once, Sissy didn't protest.
Think she secretly loves it too.

The other 3 colours!
No regrets keeping this in all colours!
So far I've worn white out, can't wait to wear the rest out!

Andddd the lampshade panel skirt which has been selling really well at the KissJane and FirstDay racks!
:)
I likey the contrast waist band + side button.
Super flattering cut and the material is of good quality too!
Kept cream for this skirt!

I think the effects and fonts made the photos look as if they are covers of old comic books!
So cuteeeee.

Awesumez peterpan collar printed dress!
Kept this print for myself!

All the prints!
Super hard to just pick ONE.

But I had to.
Cause my mum is complaining every single day about how she cannot stuff anymore clothes into my wardrobe anymore.
HAHAH.

Also kept this Cheery Hearts top in Sunshine!
No surprise there, hahah.
When there's yellow, I'll almost ALWAYS pick yellow.

And there'll be a midi skirt that comes in 2 colours!
:))
As matched with the top in quarry blue & pink dots.

But the question is, when to launch?
I heard that Livejournal's been mad AGAIN.
How many times must the server go wrong in a year, seriously??
