Attended a few events over the course of last month when I was on a break for TTR (which actually made me realise how much I love working despite sulking a little about returning back to work at the start of this week, haha).
And I think the one question which people has been asking whenever I attend events as a blogger is,
"What do you blog about?"
Honestly,
I am always at a loss for words whenever people ask me that.
And having attended quite a few events,
I still don't really see myself as a blogger.
I guess I see it as only a really small part of my identity,
and so when people introduce me as a "blogger", I always feel a little uncomfortable.
Hahaha.
And also, the above question about what I blog about makes me feel guilty sometimes.
I don't have anything in particular that I blog about.
I don't have anything that I blog well about, or anything that I am super passionate about that I want to share on my blog.
I'm not a beauty blogger, a fashion blogger or a food blogger.
Nowadays,
my presence here can hardly be felt.
Plus, Dayre is so convenient!
But even on Dayre I just share about mostly random stuff?
On days that I don't even feel like posting anything on Dayre,
there is always Instagram.
Okay enough of digressing, back to the question.
Hahaha.
I guess at best, I can only be categorised under the "lifestyle" category...
But my lifestyle is not even that interesting eh.
I used to blog like twice a week,
about outfits, random places I visited, how my weekends went, useless things I bought,
feelings, the things going on at TTR.
Some of these things I still do share,
but on Dayre.
As I grow older,
and as I get more and more involved in work,
I find myself having less time to do what I used to.
And also,
I am not as willing to share so much about my personal life because a little more privacy seems like a good idea.
I find myself filtering my thoughts before sharing them because I never know who is reading them.
Trying to find a good balance between my personal life and still having genuine thoughts and interesting happenings to blog about is pretty tough.
Sometimes, I wish I could go back to documenting random bits of my life on my blog regularly.
