Woke up this morning to one of the most unpleasant noises in the world:
Construction drilling one floor above my house.
Definite mood spoiler.
Had to get out of the house asap because it was putting me in a super bad mood + headache.
GRRR.
Need to sleep early tonight because I foresee getting another alarm clock early in the morning tomorrow.
>;(

Visited Wheeler's Yard for the second time last week!
I first went with Yoko for a meeting to discuss my ideas for the website revamp.
Excitedly waiting to see the magic she does!
;)
Dragged Sissy there with me for the second time because I didn't take photos the first time round.
I know right,
I'm slacking more and more.
Which blogger doesn't think to take photos when they're at a chio cafe like this??!
LOL.

It was a good thing that we went there on a weekday afternoon because we were starving and definitely could not stand waiting too long for the food.
We were served pretty fast,
10 minutes tops!

Sissy ordered what I had for the first time I was at Wheeler's Yard,
smoked salmon with scrambled eggs.
Smoked salmon can never go wrong.
Love that they drizzled hollandaise sauce over!

I went for aglio olio and loved the flavours!
The pasta was a tad undercooked but the taste made up for it.
Hope they improve on the pasta timing the next time round I head over.
I've read quite a fair bit of bad reviews on the food from Wheeler's Yard but honestly,
the food was alright to me!
Definitely not as terrible as what some reviews claimed.
To me,
cafe food are great for photos!
I don't usually go to a cafe hoping that the food will be stupendously good...
If it turns out good then it's a bonus for me.
They actually have quite a lot of seating both indoors and outdoors,
but it was still super crowded the first time I went there (on a Sunday)!

Dolce Ruffles Bralet in Powder Blue from TTR, floral mesh midi from overseas, flats from Steve Madden
Tried many twirling shots and we managed to get some nice ones after 18374738 dizzyfying turns.
Hats off to girls who can do them perfectly,
because they really are 1000x harder than they look.
Excited for tomorrow because Thom and I are celebrating our 8th anniversary!
8th as in...
8th year.
Super crazy, I know.
It was like just a while ago,
we were celebrating our 7th year together.
And zoom,
now it's the 8th.
One way to survive a relationship for 8 years,
do crazy, random, unplanned things together.
We were talking about renting bicycles overnight doing night cycling together and ended up buying bicycles for ourselves on a whim instead.
LOL.
Don't ask me why Thom wants the one with the pink wheels,
I don't get it either.
Hahaha.
Mine is the cute blue one with a basket in front!
Xiaobai is just the right size for it and I'm planning to bring her to Bishan Park for an outing one day.
Hehe.
