Work trips are always a draining affair for me.
Firstly, the flights are always at unearthly hours (meaning I don't get much sleep at all on the days that I fly).
Secondly, the places that I travel to work are super undesirable, as in I won't ever consider it as a holiday location.. EVER.
And lastly, the food and air quality are really bad there so basically that sums it all up into a horrible few days.
Plus, I don't even get to enjoy myself there.
It's all work and no play.
I have to go through this horrible routine twice a month and it really is starting to get the better of me.
Thankfully, Thom is always accompanying me on these trips.
And even though he doesn't stand to gain anything (other than hearing me whine and complain),
he still accompanies me all the same just to make sure he can share some burden with me and also to make sure I'm safe.

On a (much) brighter note,
I only have one trip left before we conclude the year!
Although I'm always complaining about how much I hate travelling for work,
it never fails to make me feel accomplished.
I feel accomplished whenever I manage to scour the entire fabric market and end up with the most gorgeous prints,
or when I try on the samples from the factories and they fit perfectly.
Now that I'm more involved in the whole manufacturing process,
it's definitely much harder work but also much more fulfilling at the end of the day.

Basic Hanky Top in Off White upcoming on TTR,
Black jeggings from Uniqlo,
Necklaces, assorted
Basic cotton spag top with a really unique hankerchief hem,
thus the name!
I really love how the jersey cotton material feels so slinky and comfortable on the skin.
Definitely going to become one of my go-to tops in the wardrobe for sure.
Now the big question,
which colour to keep?
I also realise I've been wearing too much white for the past week.
Will try to stay away and wear more of other colours this week.
Hehe.
