Earlier this week,
we did a photoshoot at the pretty D' Good Cafe!
The owners were really nice and generous to have lent this space to us for a photoshoot.
Which not everyone is inclined to,
because we take up space (obviously) during a photoshoot and are likely to disrupt their business a little.
It was a rainy afternoon but I was surprised to see that their cafe was still busy with customers.
I expected the cafe to be rather empty since the rain was pretty heavy.
But I guess everyone was craving for hot coffee and warm hearty meals since the weather was wet and gloomy!

Really,
I urge you to give their coffee a try!
I'm not a hardcore coffee addict but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the cafe mocha I ordered.
Plus, all their hot coffees come with the cutest coffee art.
Definitely mood lifter!

Mel enjoying her hearty breakfast cereal with fruits!

While Mel went for the healthy version of breakfast,
I ordered the eggs benedict.
Hehe.
I can never #eatclean.

We managed to do some really cute gifs so you might want to check our launch out at 8PM later!
;)

We brought Xiaobai along and she went burrowing her face into a sack of coffee beans.
NAY I'M JUST KIDDING.
Hahahaha.
That's a fake dog.
We had a good time shooting at D' Good Cafe given their super huge space (they have 2 levels and an alfresco area!) but it was a pity we didn't manage to finish shooting all the outfits we brought.
I made the call to stop the shoot because by the time we were left with the last outfit,
the cafe was filled with customers and it got quite restrictive for us.
Which only tells you how good their business is given that it was pouring like mad that morning/afternoon!
Again, I'm really thankful to the owners of the cafe for giving us a chance to shoot at their lovely cafe.
:)
I will definitely be back for a proper brunch where I can sit down to enjoy my food instead of running around and eating my food at 10 minutes intervals.
Heh.

And I shall end off with my outfit from yesterday!

Outfit of the day:
Tea Cosy Knit Top in Pastel Mint upcoming on TTR,
shorts personal piece,
shoes from Hong Kong
How genius is the combination of lace and knit you tell me?
This piece is inspired by Miss Selfridge and we chose to make our version with a thinner knit material so that it is wearable for Singapore's weather.
Be right back with another post!!!
