On Vesak Day,
I didn't want to be in town because I knew it was going to be crazily crowded with people...
So I suggested The Coastal Settlement to Thom!
And guess what...
It was just as crowded.
I guess the lack of interesting places in Singapore caused everyone to be at the same places every PH.
So the best place to be at on a PH is probably home!
Hahaha.
We were about to go off upon seeing the crowd but luckily we stayed because there were seats for us shortly after!
Only waited for about 10 minutes,
lucky or what!
LOL.
Why does everyone look at the screen of a swivel screen camera instead of the lens???
They had good truffle fries!
The rosti wasn't bad at all but then again,
it's kind of hard to go wrong for something as simple as rosti.
The salmon bagel was worth a miss because the bagel was so freaking hard.
It took me so much strength to cut it into small pieces and I gave up after 2 bites.
;(
We also ordered the wagyu beef and sauteed mushrooms pizza,
which sounded way nicer than it tasted.
Dessert saved the day!
We really wanted to try their sea salt caramel cheesecake but was told that it was not available that day.
Luckily for us, Grandma's Brownie was really good too!

Inspired from a Topshop piece which I owned!
It originally came in a textured material but I thought it would look nicer if we did it in a nice smooth material.
Happy to report that our version feels as expensive as the Topshop piece!!
Can't wait to match this skirt with my floral bustier tops too!
