Thom's been having exams for the past 2 weeks so I have my Fridays and weekends unoccupied because that is when we usually go out.
So when Mel asked me to a food tasting event at The Boxing Crab,
I happily said yes!
Who on earth says no to crabs???
I wasn't really thinking straight when I picked my outfit though,
I don't know why I wore white when I knew I was going to be eating crabs.
Guess I was too excited because the romper arrived that day and I couldn't wait to wear it out!
I absolutely love this romper for it's simplicity.
Feels as if it's a blank canvas and I can pile on whatever accessories without having to worry that they won't go well with my outfit.

I can go on and on about how much I love this romper but I shall move on,
hahaha.
Otherwise this blog post will never end.

We arrived late so we had to miss out on the first course which was the deep fried spiny lobster salad!
;(
They were promoting their Mothers' Day menu that day and I loved the homemade water chestnut beancurd with spiced meat and braised treasure chicken in lotus leaf!
And of course not forgetting the star of the night,
braised chili crab in lotus leaf and the butter pumpkin crab!
The crabs were gone in like a minute,
so I had to take those photos really fast.

It's so damn good I'm not kidding.
Even better than Melben!
Finally met pretty Andrea in person!
And this cute 'crabing in progress' bib saved my white romper from suffering the wrath of the chili crab sauce!
They also provided us with plastic gloves to eat the crabs with.
I found this very thoughtful,
especially since Thom was not around to help me deal with the crab shells that day.
Hahahaha.
Stir fried vermicelli and red bean soup to end the day!
