I think the best part of my job is that I can take time off sometimes to spend with my family.
Our timing is not as flexible as you think,
but a lot more if you compare it to normal office jobs.
I guess that is one of the perks of being a business owner..
But then again, we work during times where people who own normal jobs do not.
So I guess it is a fair trade off after all.
Since it was Mothers' Day last Sunday,
I made plans to bring my grandparents, my mum and my aunt for a nice lunch.
Canton Paradise recently opened in AMK hub and so I thought it was a good location.
After hearing raves from Sissy,
we decided to head there on a weekday afternoon for lunch!

I feel so happy just staring at these photos.
:)
We hardly see our grandparents because we're usually busy working..
But I think that being busy should not get in the way of us visiting our grandparents and spending some quality time with them.
My grandma kept telling us she was very happy that we brought her out for lunch that day.
Such a simple action is enough to make them happy.
And it made me feel ashamed that I did not even make the effort on normal days to visit them every now and then.

My adorbz grandparents!
♥
The food at Canton Paradise was great by the way!
I especially love their four season beans with minced meat!
Their dimsum was also the bombz.

My super mum posing proudly with her Mothers' Day gift from us!
Each year she would tell us not to waste money on gifts for her,
but I know she is always super happy whenever we get her something!
:)

Ending off with a quote which I saw from somewhere but I cannot seem to find the original author.
Love your parents/grandparents.
We are so busy growing up,
we often forget that they are also growing old.
Take some time out to spend with them.
Family is and always will be one of the most important parts of your life.
They are the ones who will give you unconditional love and support no matter what.
