The flea came and gone but I am really happy at how it turned out albeit we had to spend a lot of time preparing for it!
I'm not the most enthusiastic person when it comes to going for fleas as a seller because of the immense preparation work involved.
And all that unpacking after the flea.
So I actually kind of hesitated when Maybelline approached us because it was so near to Christmas (which means we'll get super busy!!) and like what I mentioned above,
I'm not a fan of attending fleas.
So far, this is only the 5th flea which we've attended ever since TTR started.

But overall, I'm really glad that we went!
:)
It was so good to see our customers in real life and being able to chat a little with them!
Would have loved it more if I weren't so busy during the event itself.
Most of the time I was squatting down (very unglamly) checking for available stocks,
running to the backstage to make sure that the models are ready for the catwalk at 3, 4 and 5pm,
halfway through we had to go back to the office to replenish stocks but ended up having stuck in traffic jams to and fro,
and when we returned, Scape had no more parking so we had to wait for DAMN long.
Gave up and reversed out to park at Mandarin Hotel which unfortunately charges a sky high parking fee for weekends.
If you had seen me doing all that above,
I must have looked like a crazy person, hahahaha.
But still, no regrets!
:)
I feel really lucky as well, because we had so many people helping out at the booth and it made me realize that I have so many awesome people around me who are willing to render their help when I really need it.

Huge thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Photos from the flea event!

This gorgeous hooked front peplum top came right before the flea and I decided to bring them along!
Couldn't resist it myself and picked out the coral to wear!
:)
One of the designs which we had to restock after the first hour!

Rack full of new designs!!!
:D
Accessories were going at $15, $10 and $5!
Our pretty sign board!

We brought cute Christmas themed props along because I honestly thought that I would have time to take photo with customers!
:X
In the end, we only used the props at the start, before the crowds came in.
So sad.

The queue started to form at 11 plus!
Really long queue omg.

This is what I meant by squatting down in a very unglam manner to search for available stocks.
Hahahaha.
We had a really awesome turnout at our booth!
Thank you for braving the crowd babes!! <3
And it's so nice to see so many of you wearing TTR pieces!!
The whole team was really happy and touched, heh.

Thank you Jan!
Even though you were supposed to be Mel's slave for the day, thank you for helping us out at the booth!
:)

The muscle men of the day.
They had the toughest job of all, my god.
So many things to transport!
Plus, they don't earn any money also, hahaha.
Super wei da okay.

My camera really has serious focusing issues.
GRRRR.

Love you all and thank you for sacrificing a good half of your Saturday for this event!
:)

TTR admin team + Sophie!!
Thank you for staying at our booth to help out Sophie, you didn't have to but you did.
And for the Christmas gifts too, mwahhhh!

Mel rocking the stage for the catwalk!

Sho prettyyyyyyy!
:)

Thank you both for being so enthusiastic at the event!
Mel came down even though she had a really bad sore throat,
and Cheryl came down to help out at the booth as cashier in between her catwalk segment!
Cannot be thankful enough!

And my dear bao bei minions who came down to help for as long as they could even though they had other activities planned for the day.
THANK YOU!!
Missing Linette in this photo because she was probably helping customers with their enquiries.
Other than being an awesome graphic designer, she makes a really good salesgirl too.
Hahahaha. :p
And the final catwalk!
I had to go on stage with Mel.
VERY SHY.

And I got home to this FB message from Mel...
I should be the one thanking you bb!

Me with the gorgeous TTR models!

Group photo with all the other blogshop owners + models!

Thank you Baby, for being at the event and doing all the hard labour without a single word of complain.
You're the best.
It could be quite some time before our next meet-the-customers event again,
so thank you all who took the time to come down and show your support!
I really appreciate it!
Promise that we will organise the next event better and I really look forward to meeting you all again!
:)
Some of you said that we were too busy that day and you didn't manage to come say hi or take photos together...
And someone on my fs commented that I look really fierce and unfriendly in real life.
Haha, that I can't help.
I also know that I look unapproachable when I don't smile!
But my main concern that day was more of overseeing the event flow and making sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Come say hi next time!
I'm really friendly one la. Hahaha.
And for the encouraging emails/comments I've gotten after the event,
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
It means a lot to me, really!
:)
SEE YOU AT THE NEXT EVENT!
