2 X BTS!

I'm really sorry that I haven't been on schedule with the behind-the-scenes blogposts.
So I decided to make it up to you with 2 different sets of BTS in 1 blogpost!!!
:)

Ready, set, go!

I wanted a deserted beach as the shoot location for the last collection...
So we headed to Sembawang beach!
It was where we used to have family picnics when I was younger,
but it looks damn different now?!

Like totally dirty and not suitable for picnics at all.
Hahah.
Or maybe we were just at the wrong end of the beach.

There wasn't many people around on a Sunday morning...
So it was a perfect setting for our photoshoot!
No stray passer-bys to spoil the photos.
Hehe.

Dings and Mel went onto the car for some aircon whenever it was not their turn to shoot.
I don't know if you can tell from our launch photos,
but it was a terribly warm and humid day!
(I got tanned by the end of the shoot even though I sprayed on as much sunblock as I could and carried an umbrella everywhere I went.)

Me and my umbrella.
Hahaha.
I'm really deathly afraid of the sun rays,
my worst enemy!!!

There you go, me and my umbrella again.
Hahahaha.

Say hello to Suan's constipated face!

Mel running for the shade as soon as she was done!
Weather was such a killer that day, really!
:(

They can really camwhore everywhere.
Haha.
Even when we're having meals after the shoot,
they also can continue with the camwhoring!
Not tired of being in front of the camera at all.

When we're doing outdoor photoshoots,
the car acts as a make-shift changing room,
resting area,
place to put clothes and accessories,
and also as a make-shift mirror.

Super functional!

Sorry for my hand.
Was trying to help Mel adjust the necklace!
;p

Anyway, the best part of this shoot was that we didn't have to bring shoes!
(If you've noticed!!)
Mel and Dings were either barefoot or wore their own slippers!

I figured that I would have a terrible mess to clear if I brought heels and all,
and I thought it wouldn't really affect the whole outlook of the photos!
so we just went without..

Shoes + sand = extremely bad idea!

Andddd the more exciting BTS,
the one from the upcoming launch this Sunday!
;)
So I'm fast for once!

The yellow police strips on the background were all handmade!
Looks really effortless but me and Linette took about 5-6 hours each doing this the day before the photoshoot.

Got glue on my fingers and mess all over the floor but it was worthwhile to see the end results!
:)

I was the "makeup artist" of the day!
Had fun using the products which Maybelline kindly sponsored us for the shoot.

Styling for the Fashion Victim credits to Jolene and Dings.
LOL.
Poor Mel!

In line with Maybelline's tagline "an arresting revolution" for the Lashionista mascara,
we went with the concept of having a Fashion Police (Dings) and Fashion Victim (Mel) for the shoot!
Hehehe.
I think they look super adorbz posing with the props!
;)

For the actual photos, stay tuned for our launch!
Some are quite hilarious, really.
Hahahah.

Out of all the sacrifices Mel has had to make for TTR shoots,
this one has got to be the most memorable.
Love you and thank you babygirl!
(The rainboots are the ultimate fashion victim add-on! Hahahaha.)

You don't wanna mess around with her!

Upcoming waterfall drape blazer which I love to bits!
Mel and me also coincidentally wore this piece in different colours to Kat's birthday brunch today.
Hehe.
Sold like hotcakes on our racks at KJ and Miyoc too!

Neon Glow Top coming to you in new colours,
just because it's too awesome!

And the models posing with the Maybelline products in the Nastygal inspired cotton slouchy shirt!
Gosh, what a mouthful.
Haha.

Launching this Sunday night,

Really cannot understand how some girls have the patience to wait for nails to dry omgzxz.
