Uninspired.

I've been slacking off when it comes to dressing up lately...
My OTDs are all dress-down style because I've less time on my hands to think of what goes with what.
So I've been bringing out all my run-to pieces.

And I'm ashamed to say that as of last weekend,
I've only took OTDs of a miserly total of 2 outfits.
;(

I can easily think of 10,000,000,000 things that I have to settle before I fly off for Japan.
But I figured I ought to give my blog a little update before I lose track of things here!

Saturday's outfit for a date with the boyfriend before he starts his internship!

An upcoming chiffon dipped hem top (comes with a surprise at the back! you'll see!) and the wildly popular Fresh Pick Denim Hot Shorts we've recently launched.
;)

The backorders for the shorts are opened since many babes didn't manage to get them!
We totally underestimated the demand for this gorgeous piece.
Fret not, backorders are here to save the day!

I've been dreading to log into my Formspring since the shorts sold out really fast...
I think... I'll get down to it soon!
:X

A short 15 minutes walk from my house brings us to Dessert Bowl!
A super popular dessert place at Serangoon Gardens.

Sooooo crowded!
We had to wait for around 15 minutes before getting a table for 2.
But I guess good things are worth queuing for, heh!

So I busied myself taking snapshots of the figurines they have on display!
Here's a vintage HK tea house.
So intricate!

And a roast meat stall.
The roast suckling pig is super cute please!

The menu!
I don't see how a baby has relevance to a dessert shop..
But it's cute, at least!

PURDYYYYY SHOES!
I'm such a sucker for nice flats.
This pair is really comfy as well!
;)

Meiting from Loveschues sent them to me and I'll post up pictures of the other pair which I got soon!

Milk custard with caramel sauce.
YUMMS.
This is my favourite out of all we ordered!

One of Dessert Bowl's popular items,
Mango Pomelo with Sago!
:)))
It's good too but I'm not exactly a huge fan of mango so...

We also ordered a red bean pancake which tastes horrible and was unphotogenic at the same time.
No photos of that!

Walking through the tunnel which brings me home!
When I was young, my parents used to bring us to Serangoon Gardens for dinner every now and then,
and I found this tunnel really creepy.
Hahaha.
Now I don't get creeped out so easily!
But I think I still don't have the guts to walk through this tunnel alone.

LOL.
I made Thom take so many photos because he needs practice.

LOVEEEEEEE.
I love the tangled back design, love that it's dipped hem too!
It's a combination of things I love so I think I need to keep more colours of this top.
HAHAHA.

Yesterday's outfit: Glam Bam Peterpan Top!
So happy that we did new colours together with the backorder!
I think maroon is a really good idea.
:D

Some customers emailed to feedback that this top can get uncomfortable with the sequins poking the neck..
And I found a way which will solve this for those who felt uncomfortable wearing it.

When you're ironing the top,  just fold the collars outwards (pushing the sequins AWAY from the neck area) and iron it down!
Tried and tested by me.
Didn't feel a thing, and I wore this top the entire day!
:)

Joy of the day comes in the form of cupcakes!
Thank you Sophie!!!
<3

Meeting my friends after so long!
I love hearing about my friends' jobs.
:)
But it makes me feel old at the same time.
Our topics about school have now been replaced by salaries, CPF and BTO.

Had a really satisfying and filling dinner at Ootoya!

Real time update: Just finished cutting cake for Sissy!
Her friends and boyfriend got her cakes and surprised her at 12AM!
She's finally 21, hehe.
Officially an adult but she sure doesn't look like one!
:p

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAREST SISTER,
the one whom I share a bed with,
share all my clothes with,
who is also my best helper at the office,
and the best partner I could ever ask for!

I love you!
XOXOXO
