Officially shifted in to the new office!
But it's still in a huge mess though.
We got the studio in first because I wanted to get a shoot done.
So happy with the new studio!
And finally we can haz a proper backdrop!
The old office was too small to have a backdrop set up, so we could only take photos against a clean wall.
But the thing was...
We had to shift everything else aside whenever we did a shoot in the old office.
And there was never ever enough space to walk when everyone piled into the old office.

The studio side of the office!
Love the new flooring too.
Gives the entire place a cosy feeling!

We've got a pretty big place so we had to spend quite some time cleaning it.
Took around 30 minutes to mop the entire place!
:X
So not looking forward to doing housecleaning in future.
After a vigorous round of chores,
me and Thom went around the vicinity to explore the foodie places!

Found this shop with supposedly famous claypot rice.

Soft shell crab which I couldn't really eat because I had my braces tightened the day before.
Sadddddd.

The claypot rice for one.
WHICH IS DAMN A LOT PLEASE.
It was a good thing we didn't order for two.
Even though I'm not a fan of claypot rice,
I had to begrudgingly agree that this was not bad.
Did a shoot last week at a super gorgeous cafe and I took the liberty of taking some outfit shots with their huge mirror!
:)
LOVE LOVE LOVE FLORAL SHORTS.
'Nuff said.
The Atlantic Ocean of clothes.
I have also shamelessly deposited quite a bit of new stocks at my suppliers' because I didn't want to move them into the old office and then having to shift them into the new office.
So...
What you're seeing is not all of them.
And my mind is always a blank when I stare at them,
thinking of how to get them organised so that we can start work proper at the new office.
I need experts in organising!
:(
Spent my Friday settling the internet connection over at the new office and getting the racks dismantled and shifted to the new office.
I didn't know how good I've had it at the old office because the internet connection, water and electricity supply was already up and running.
Until I've to see to all of those myself.
:(

Okay not all by myself because the boyfriend is free from exams finally!
And free to help me out this week as free manual labour before he starts his internship next week.
:p

After we were done with applying for internet,
we went back to the old office for the racks.

Waiting for my dad to come over and take them apart.

The neat stitchings on my Sweet Pea Dress! ;)

My super awesome boyfriend who's always helping me so selflessly.
So glad to have you.
♥
Moving to the new office wouldn't have been so smooth if not for my Dad as well.
He got me all the help I needed,
his workers for shifting everything to the new office,
changing a new lock for the office,
laying out the new flooring,
teaching me how to spot the areas which needed repair,
and so many other things which I wouldn't have known if not for him!
And to think that he used to be so against me doing this business.
We used to shout at each other pretty often because before I had an office,
stocks were all over the house and he hated the mess.
He felt that this business wasn't going to work out and that I was putting too much time into it.
And he was worried that I would lose focus of my studies then.
Now he's 101% supportive!
:)
That's definitely one of my biggest personal achievements so far.

And a proper outfit shot while waiting for my Dad and Thom to fix the racks back.
My two handy helpers at the office are finally back!
Had one hell of a time trying to hold up the fort while they were away.
Super thankful for friends like my bestie and Dings who readily help me out (with packing and whatnot) with no questions asked!
I feel extremely blessed to have friends like them in my life.
HOW DID I GET SO LUCKY?
:')
There's always a silver lining to every dark cloud.
And for this hectic two weeks,
my silver lining is all the awesome people in my life who are always there to extend help to me.
Ended my Friday night spending quality time with the sisters...
We booked tickets for the Avengers!

The movie was great by the way!
I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that,
you must have heard rave reviews about it from everywhere!
Even the advertising sidebar on my blog is featuring the Avengers, hahaha.
Go catch it if you haven't!
;)
Will blog again very soon since I've my office team back with me!
