It's been super long since I did any 'behind the scenes' blog post...
But you can't blame that on me cos Sissy's having exams and I don't have extra hands (and time) to double up as the paparazzi.
Heh.
But anyway, since it's the photoshoot for the 100th I dragged her along!
The next 100th will be a far away event so I didn't want her to miss it.
Both of us didn't sleep a wink the night before because we had too many things to do!
And also, we were afraid that we would oversleep.
Hahahaha.
Thom stayed over on my sofa so that we could have more help for the mission which we intended to complete for the 100th.
Which is...
To have 100 helium balloons for the shoot!
And because it's impossible to buy the balloons the night before and leave them till the next morning (helium only lasts for 8 hours),
I had the brilliant idea of renting a helium tank.
I only thought of it on Wednesday,
and the shoot was on Friday morning,
which meant that I only had 1 day to get the helium tank.
The last time I checked with my cousin who rented the tank before,
it takes 1 week in advance to rent one.
But I did it.
Not telling you how, though! :p
Call time for shoot was 7am, because I didn't want to risk having a thunderstorm in the midst of the shoot (lesson learnt from collection 99).
Turned out I had nothing to worry about.
It was an EXTREMELY hot day and we almost died of heatstroke.
Reached the shoot location at the crack of dawn, which is 6am.
Totally underestimated the amount of time we need to do 100 balloons.
We ran out of places to tie the balloons to,
so onto the car they go!
Maximum cui-ness.
This is what stressing over photoshoot + lack of sleep does to me.
But that's okay because it's not my job to look good during photoshoots.
Hehe.
Mel looking picture perfect at 7am.
Really wonder how she and Dings do it!
Our self invented makeshift changing room!
Last look at it because I've just upgraded the changing room facility.
Mwahahaha.
Just had to make them take a photo together because they look like brinjals.
Hahaha.
I've never seen my car looking happier.
This attracted lots of stares and questions from passerbys!
Some of them thought it was for a proposal.......
Haha.
Cute BB!
Mel look exceptionally happy.
I think that's the thing with ballons.
They make people happy.
:)
It looks simple but was tiring in actual fact to have to constantly hold on to the balloons!
I had achy arms the day after.
:X
Colourful confetti bits mixed with stones.
So pretty!
And finally letting go of the balloons!
I think everyone was happy cos we were all tired of trying to keep them from flying away.
Thanks to Suan's guidance, we managed to get some pretty fab shots that day!
These 2 screamed like lunatics when we twisted the poppers.
Hahahaha.
I've really epic photos of their stunned faces but I'm keeping them for blackmailing purposes in future!

Here're the awesome people who journey-ed with us to the 100th!
Models and the photographers!
I love seeing them for weekly shoots as much as it's tiring to do all the planning and styling and organising and hauling of clothes and props.
They made the journey much more enjoyable and I can't imagine doing it without any of them.
The weather seemed much more grueling that day compared to all our past photoshoots,
but we managed to complete it!

Gonna save the cheesy stuff for when I blog about TTR's history!

While I was mulling over what to do for the 100th collection a few weeks back,
Sissy gave the brilliant suggestion of customising Sticky candy for our customers!
And so we did.
Lychee flavoured 'I <3 TTR' stickies!
Aren't they cute!
We customised everything,
from the design, the colours, the flavour,
even the wordings on the packaging!
Our small way of thanking you for being with us till the 100th!
:)
Also doing some other giveaways so you don't want to miss this collection!
It takes around 1 month from ordering till you get to collect your order.
So this photo was taken weeks back!
And I hope those of you who get these feel the love from us!
We've 100 bags so there's plenty of love to go around, hehe.
